Fantastic experience: Always clean, helpful staff. Facilities are clean. Changing room and learner pool are a little chilly. Overall, we always have a nice experience here

Fantastic experience: I visited the leisure centre because it was the venue for an exhibition that wanted to attend. Upon entry to the centre I was immediately asked by a member of staff if they could help and I was then promptly shown in which direction I should be walking. The Caffè facilities within the centre are very good with plenty of seating. Also the car parking on site can get very busy but after driving around for five minutes I eventually found an empty bay.

The staff are friendly and helpful there's lots to do here I've used the gym in the third floor and both the swimming pools the gym is never packed and is open until 9:30 weekdays and 6:30 weekends the Olympic swimming pool is usually a good temperature and is fun to swim in the training pool ranges between 0.6m-0.9m and my daughter thinks that is very fun there is always a lifeguard watching over the pool

Fantastic experience: We want to say a massive thank you to the team that worked tonight that helped a customer with her diabetic low with no questions asked and made sure she had everything she needed to come out of it. And an extra special thank you to the man with the beard who gave up his own food to make sure she was okay and the other who gave us the lucozade. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you

Fantastic experience: Visited for the Portsmouth Tattoo Festival, so can't really comment on the whole place. The festival was in the convention space downstairs, and guests had access to the upper cafe/bar and smoking benches outside. Great large venue for the festival, quite a few more people let in than perhaps the venue could hold but again what does the leisure centre do about that? I'm not too sure if this was privately operated. Easy to find, plenty of free parking available. Bit of a sketchy area but Portsmouth is sketchy in MOST areas.

Fantastic experience: Super smooth path there towards the lido of your a skater behind the carpark leading to Hilsea lido. Facilities are always clean. Awesome gym and super friendly helpful staff.

Positive experience: Have not received my free months for referring my mother and my friend. Was told I would get one in September and October, I did not. Was told end of November I still paid. Not the Staffs fault but feel they don’t chase it up as well as they could. It seems the higher ups are incompetent and don’t care. However, gym is great, but could do with a fix up. Pool is amazing, but could do with a little clean once in a while. Sports service is brilliant no complaints. Difficult to get through and app can be frustrating sometimes. Overall a good gym to use, just watch that refer a friend offer.

Fantastic experience: The swimming lessons for the little ones are so reasonably priced. Pool is warm and shallow enough for them to be confident on their own. Teachers are lovely too

Fantastic experience: Great place family membership is very reasonable at £90 for 2 adults and 2 children. You get access to gym and swimming loads of activities for the kids to try too

Fantastic experience: As far as gyms go this is my favourite one! Paying a little more than other places around the city but for what they've got in there, the range of equipment, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, 50m pool etc makes all the other gyms in the city seem inadequate.

Fantastic experience: Only actually used pool here which is a beautiful pool and unlike some has a very clean and family friendly large unisex changing rooms alsays spotlessly clean and very friendly staff

Fantastic experience: it was my first time at the mountbatten leisure center, upon arrival i spoke to a lady at reception called Eliz who was very helpful and gave me lots of information on memberships who then gave me a tour of the centre. the lady was very kind and helpful so just want to say thank you to the lovely young lady.

Fantastic experience: Great learner pool and the main pool split in to two sections ( so essentially there are 3 separate pools ) for "Wet and Wacky" kids play sessions ( with inflatables and floats ) and also lane swimming in the other separate main pool session. Very small soft play area but very handy for toddlers, small kids. Cafe on sight, pre Covid they used to sell bottles of beer and do hot food, only small selection of pastries and sandwiches now from what I saw. Also great playground outside!

Fantastic experience: Went to the Tuesday early evening Running session held by Portsmouth Athletic Club for children up to 13 years. Phil Budd and his team were excellent, enthusiastic, motivated and patient! Used the Mountbatten Leisure centre's sports field where numerous athletes were also practising various field and track techniques. Many sport options within the centre and a cafe offering refreshments to visitors. Great facility for Portsmouth and the area.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time for a family children's party, soft play was great even for a big kid having to encourage my own young children to explore. The staff were absolutely fantastic, wish I'd got the name of the young lady running the party to give her proper recognition. She much a huge effort to engage with all of the children

Fantastic experience: Just signed up to the gym again for the first time in a long time. If you are a swimmer what could be more alluring than an Olympic sized 50m pool?! That said their best upsell is the fact that the poolside changing rooms are not nice whilst the top membership buys you a great locker room with access to the pool and gym. Plus a really nice area with a steam room, sauna and jacoozi.

Fantastic experience: I have used the centre for badminton block bookings for quite a few years and have found the staff helpful. On my request the lighting was improved. Sometimes I had to change a booking and reception always tried to accomodate the request. The swimming pool is a good facility - nice temperature, clean and with lifeguards.
