Fantastic experience: A close friend hosted his 70th birthday party with family and friends here last Sunday. Nicely decorated room, spacious and comfortable with good view out towards the golf course. Everyone thought the food was excellent, particularly the roast beef with all the usual trimmings. Staff were attentive and friendly so overall it was an excellent location.

Fantastic experience: Not from the area and just popped in for a drink. It was quite busy and the staff were working exceptionally hard….. very friendly and the coffee was excellent complete with two non dairy milk options. Others were eating food which looked amazing and the menu also had some vegan and vegetarian choices. May well come back later!

Fantastic experience: Played a few rounds this year - challenging course which is well cared for. Friendly staff. The driving range is very pricey but the ball tracker technology keeps it interesting. The club house was under covid restrictions so I didn’t get a good look around but looked, well, stately. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Having recently been to a wedding hosted here I was blown away with the service, the food and the gorgeous mansion and grounds. Mark and Lauren were always on hand to help, the food was amazing and such a great wedding atmosphere. Loved every minute and would 100% recommend!

Positive experience: Good course, but £50 a round is just plain silly. It's like they're saying 'we'd rather you didn't play here'. Easier just to make it members only. If it was a reasonable price £25-£30, would happily play regularly.

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old son has golf lessons there with Charlie. Charlie is amazing and he has so much patience. He is so child friendly and a great teacher. The range is brilliant if it’s raining and the grounds are breathtaking.

Fantastic experience: I visited as a guest of a member, costs around £35 midweek. Good course, I found some of the holes a bit of a challenge and not playing my best golf I didn't score particularly well, but that's not the course's fault and I intend to get myself reinvited, next time I'll bring my A game. Nice building, just had a drink outside so can't say much more about it. Well stocked pro shop. Everyone really friendly.

Fantastic experience: Have been to the gym here for several years. But last December unfortunately I had a heart attack and cardiac arrest at the. Cannot praise the staff enough for being quickly on the scene and acted amazingly and saved my life. From myself and my family cannot thank them enough. Brian Johns.

Fantastic experience: I do not write many reviews on here, but we had a lovely day there yesterday. Well our Family had lunch there yesterday, Easter Sunday. We booked in advance for the Carvery. It not a massive restaurant , so I think it will be wise to book in advance. We are NOT club members We are pleased that the Venue is open to the public for the Restaurant etc I believe there is new Management recently , so I thought I would like to write this review. Firstly I would say that as we approached the Venue, I was struck by the beautiful grounds and setting. It is a lovely setting , We were greeted by Friendly Staff and felt really comfortable in the Bar area , followed by the adjoining Restaurant area. The Venue is Child Friendly, which is essential , as our Grandchildren are young and hopefully ,well behaved. The Carvery was excellent and the price was perhaps comparable with others in the area. I think it needs to be said that for the price, the Carvery was similar to others , However , at other local Carveries, there are perhaps 100 other people , very impersonal At this Venue , there was Good Food, beautiful views, friendly Staff. No pressure. We ended up spending the whole afternoon there , We really enjoyed the visit ,I wish them every success in the future. As we left I asked if we could use the Driving Range , as Non Members, It seems , that we could purchase the Balls and use that facility. I will bring a Golf club, on my next visit, but they may have loaned me one! We will definitely be returning . Martin

Fantastic experience: Nice and clean. Cafe is a nice surprise. There's good coffee and other hot and cold drinks even alcohol. Prices are good and membership is cheaper than you would expect.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member here for over 15 years. Its a great venue, brilliant golf course and has a good gym. The weddings are always great as the location is beautiful. If you want a nice venue for your wedding this is certainly worth looking at ++

Fantastic experience: Played here today and I cannot fault the course or its staff. It is in great condition with a lot of thought put into the pin positions which makes you have to really think about every shot you take. I will definately be coming back!
