Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Love Finchley lido, love the different pools as I'm.not a strong swimmer so can't do lanes, I go into the small pool/Kids pool. But honestly once they put the wave machine on, OMG literally you will be shouting Tsunami!I had to hold on for dear life and this was mid-week, but so fun! Not too many in the pool which is great. Will be back for my mid-week paddle.

Fantastic experience: I went for swimming, it is clean, well organized and not crowded - at least on Thursday midday.

Fantastic experience: I used to swim here years ago and it's since undergone a transformation. It's clean and friendly, and swimming in the outdoor pool on a hot day is delicious. For daily exercise, the lanes are nicely set out. I like it!

Fantastic experience: Nice place to go with all family. Not to big lido, winning with warm water and grass to put towel for sunbath. There is also small shop with ice-cream and drinks. There are 2 indoor swimming pools. One wave pool run every 30 minutes, every 15 and 45 minutes after each hour. Also nice and warm water. Second one to swim in lines, once no swimming lessons not running that time. Only concern, that water outdoor is bit cloudy compared to indoor one, so maybe cleaning system not working properly. Toilets should be cleaned more often. Also what would be good if there would be some place with water for feet before enter pool. Most of the pools in UK haven't got it. Reached there as lidos closest to my place was fully booked. It is longer travel but was worthy to go. Definitely will go there again and will recommend it to my friends. Overall giving 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I use the pool only. They have a main pool and a leisure pool, I guess mostly for children. Nice place for taking the kids to swim.

Fantastic experience: My daughters have learned a lot during this time in swimming, I'm extremely happy with their teacher, Adam. The place is clean, it has all facilities to wash and dry after the swimming lessons. It looks like the water is a bit cold.

Fantastic experience: Great swimming and gym facilities, very convenient for parking which is free, very helpful staff members. Help for disabled people like myself is great too. Once you've finished your swim, gym, etc, there are several foods outlets available right outside too which makes this place a great day out for everyone.

Fantastic experience: I have joined the Better Gym in Finchley Lido Leisure Centre less than two weeks, and I found out abou the salsa workout class with Nelson Joaquim, it has been the best workout i I've ever had in my life, sadly it's only on fridays, could you please make it so there's a class every day, I'm willing to pay any amount it costs to have more salsa fitness classes, i would be so grateful if you could do this.

Fantastic experience: This is just amazing. The fact that i just walk out of my door and straight into the gym is great. Plenty of parking space. Also there is plenty of space to exercise, a variety of equipment and the staff are all wonderful and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Nothing to find fault with, greeted on arrival, answered my questions regarding current protocols in place - 50 min swim time, where showers where located etc. Clean, lifeguards attentive, good signage system in place. Will be returning.

Fantastic experience: There is a main pool a kids pool with wave machine and a outside pool. I have been going to this pool for over 20yrs and with a hot summer and the wave machine going and a mass of children enjoying themselves this place is a gem. Out door pool is only opened during the summer. Also has a gym and studio. There is a fantastic mural painting of the sea on one wall and glad to say after the lock down it still looks good. Slightly tired and nice to have more outside views but it serves the local community well.

Positive experience: Sunday afternoon, blissfully quiet! Excellent equipment, all brand new. The whole gym floor was clean and there was a visible, active gym instructor. There is limited floor space for stretching and I thought the toilets not being in a separate area in the changing room was a bit odd. Pool looked clean and inviting. I'm a member so I didn't interact with reception as I just scanned myself in, which was easy enough.

Fantastic experience: I am only reviewing the pool as it’s the only part of the centre I visit. Staff are friendly, professional and courteous. The amazing thing about this pool is their Achievement in serving the Jewish community nearby by working over-hours to make sure that the orthodox community can enjoy some leisure while holding on to traditions. Check pool calendar on the website for exact timetable. I hope other centres around the country learn from it and make sure to get involved with communities and their needs!

Fantastic experience: Great when the waves are working, be sure to check ahead for public pool times in the main pool though, there are a lot of lessons and clubs scheduled leaving disappointed families at the reception desk when the fun pool is at full capacity!

Fantastic experience: We do love the local Lido! People can complain as much as they feel like but the bottom line is when the heat wave strikes you will be queuing for miles! ;) Was absolutely packed during the hot days!

Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool for kids, the shallow end tapers so gently into the deeper part. Relativity clean for such a busy pool. Great value, my children love it there!

Fantastic experience: If you want to work out, this Gym has it all. I don't understand negative reviews - if you want to get fit, a gym's a gym! It is cheap and cheerful. If you have the desire, you will work out wherever. Machines are all good and there's enough of them for a full work out. People who go there are super, chilled and dedicated. The gym is relatively small and not fancy but, it has everything needed. Come ready to work out and shower at home.
