Fantastic experience: Love it just after sweeming is cold in change room

Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, love the effect of waves in the big swimming pool. It's family friendly, you can have little boys in the ladies changing room. In case of a man going with kids be careful, my husband found a but naked old man in the boys changing room I don't think it's appropriate, but that is me, my husband didn't like it, just for the fasct that our litle boy was there, in the male changing room. Was not expensive either. Very clean area I loved the level of hygiene, no bad smell or funny smells. Apart from that it's a fun day out. You need 1£ coin for the lockers, you will get back.

Fantastic experience: It's a really good swimming pool better than the one in alyestone maybe you Karen's who keep saying "it's bad' and "I'm going to report this to the authorities"go to the alyestone pool that's a pool you call broken and damaged. Don't listen to these Karen's who make 1 star or 2 stars review they are just big ugly lies that build trouble.

Fantastic experience: Back to the gym after 2 1/2 years. Still the same friendly staff. They have made the gym bigger by moving some of the equipment into the sports hall.

Fantastic experience: Excellent leisure centre. Been to the pool and the Tower Climbing centre. Highly recommend the climbing centre but see separate review for that. In terms of swimming pool, there are 4 pools. Main pool goes from beach style to 1.8m and they have a wave machine that comes on twice an hour for 5 minutes each (at 15 minutespast the hour and at 15 minutesto the hour). This is the highlight of the visit when the flumes are not running. It is the flumes that should be the highlight, but for whatever reason, sometimes they don't operate these so it is just the pools. Having said that, there are two small slides into the pool. There are also two smaller pools. One is 0.75m deep, so even very young kids can stand. The smallest pool is not really a pool, but a great introduction to water confidence for very young, even a few months old.

Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool, especially for kids but for adults good enough as well. Lots better than few years ago. I would say it's clean now. Well equipped gym, small but good for beginners. Be careful with council's desk jokeys, they are not very honest if comes to monthly payments.

Fantastic experience: Took the boys yesterday and they had the most fun. Well secured with very watchful lifeguards. The main pool ever half hour or so creates beach waves and its height is mostly shallow to allow young children to enjoy it. From the 3rd third of the pool the floor gets deeper and (I forgot to see how deep it goes) might be 2.5m deep. The second pool has toys for kids to interact with such as slider and fountain and other hung thingies. Both pools have lurk water. The babies and toddler's pool have warm water (around 36 degrees Celsius).

Fantastic experience: My son Oakley has started having swimming lessons here at stage 1 level, his first lesson he was scared and upset but the swimming teacher Alex was amazing with him! Had his 2nd lesson Sunday gone and he actually enjoyed it. So thankful to Alex who had so much patience and time for Oakley, top man would recommend him

Positive experience: Nice facility with free car park. However the whole place is cold, cold pool, cold showers and cold changing rooms, our little ones didn't last long before shivering and needing to get out. Rash vests for kids are good idea!

Fantastic experience: Great climbing wall (lead/top rope). Routes are changed quite frequently and there's a good mix of routes. I would definitely recommend going with a partner as the bouldering wall is merely ok. If you want bouldering I'd recommend going to a dedicated centre like Social Climbing or the Climbing Station.

Fantastic experience: The place is great for everything from shopping to swimming with the main place being the massive swimming centre that's great for a family outing.

Fantastic experience: I took my 5 month old here for her first ever swim. The facilities are fantastic for young babies and children. The baby and toddler pools are sectioned away from the busy main pools which makes swimming with little ones that little less stressful. There are plenty of family changing rooms and big lockers on site too. There are benches by the babies pool section so it's easy for a relative or friend to sit for free with your stuff and be on hand to help or relax for a bit.

Fantastic experience: Two large swimming pools one with wave machine one with two slides and activities...also small pool for younger kids & a paddle puddle for babies/toddlers....huge sports hall where baby gym is Tuesday/Thurs....great fun for toddlers

Fantastic experience: I take my granddaughter every Friday for aqua tots she thought enjoys it. It is always lovely and clean the water is warm, however we never seem to pay the same price twice

Fantastic experience: Visited today to take my 5 year old daughter swimming. We stayed for over an hour and we absolutely loved it! Our favourite parts were the flumes and slides. The changing rooms and toilets were very clean and in good condition. Staff were very helpful and friendly also

Fantastic experience: The facility's are great for day out with family. The variety of activities makes it perfect place for children to spend their time enjoying slides, shallow pools, deep pool for swimming with beach like access and waves. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place for everyone of all ages, there are 3 swimming pools available from a warm pool for babies to a normal size pool for adults which also has a wave machine + a medium size pool for under 10s, there are also 2 slides (1 fast, 1 small) different colours + staff are at the top to make sure children are using slides safely. There is a gym in the same building for the health conscious too. Food is available at the indoor cafe/snackbar but there are other fast food shops next door at the shopping centre. Great day out for all the family

Fantastic experience: Swimming for all the family they a wave machine, toddlers pool, nice gym if your 60and over apply for "The Card" and get a£5 a month ticket to swim as many times as you like or £1 a swim in off peak ask about what else it can get you.......

Fantastic experience: Other than a random lady coming in midway through getting changed for swimming and her seeing far more than she probably bargained for this place is great fun. It hasn’t changed since the 80’s and the kids love a water flume that goes over a car park.

Fantastic experience: Very good experience. Great range of water slides and big pool with wave machine and 1 small pool with slides for the kids and one baby pool. Also there are not just kids water slides there are 2 flumes and they are epic the blue one is slow and the green one is fast, kids are allowed on them without adults. THE SLIDES ARE GREAT AND FU**ING FUN!!!

Fantastic experience: A great place to take kids. I regularly take our 3/4 year old to the kids splash, which she loves. There are loads of floats and other equipment to entertain the kids. At other times, there is a wave machine, which is great fun!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic toddler gym session, my daughter loves going every Tuesday , session is ran by two approachable friendly ladies. Highly recommended for those with children aged 0-5years !!
