The Hogarth Health Club

Fantastic experience: Superb Health Club with an amazingly knowledgeable gym team! The classes are fun and motivating (spinning is my favourite). The stuff are super friendly and I'm always greeted on a first name basis with a great big smile the second I walk through the door. After a week of joining you feel like part of the 'Hogarth family'. The gym manager Terry is one of the friendliest men on the planet too. Long story short, this is one of the best health clubs in London.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent club which will take you on whichever journey you want to go on. Nice, friendly & cheerful staff, good food, great equipment and classes. They have bent over backwards in relation to the restrictions. The booking systems do require you to plan ahead, but not by much.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined the club and must say the best club I’ve ever used, clean, organised and super friendly! The machines are in great state, and Alison’s class has helped me massively with my flexibility and injuries!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the Hogarth Health Club for about twelve years. I feel that the warm welcome, plus excellent facilities, have created a second home for me. During the Pandemic I was amazed at the amount of investment put into the club to protect and enhance the experience for members. Fantastic experience: Hogarth is a such a lovely, refreshing place! It beats any other gym/healthcare club in the local areas. It has a real personal touch and everyone who works there is genuinely helpful, nice and happy.

Fantastic experience: A very nice health club with short term memberships for people like me. I was happy to be able to sign up to a month of membership when in the area. I am a squash player and found some nice people to have a game and chat with. The facilities are great. Lots of space and various areas, inside and out, to workout from. Nice pool and sauna. Up to 3 hours parking. Nice cafe/ restaurant for pre/post gym. The staff on reception are really great. Warm and welcoming on every visit and I visited a lot! Thank you Paris, Julia and Hannah.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of the Hogarth Club for 25 years and it has always been a life saver in so many ways, not just for keeping fit and healthy but when life is a bit difficult it is a 'safe' place to be and always a friendly word and welcoming smile from staff and other members. It really came into its own with the Pandemic - the Management went to extraordinary lengths to keep people going during a really hard time. Everyone from Managers to trainers to cleaners to bar staff, reception and beauty clinic are first rate. I cannot imagine not going there.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, one of a kind club, with not only first class facilities of all types, but also a sense of friendliness, support and community quite unlike anything else I know. The cafe/bar adds hugely to the experience, a beautiful space with lovely food, coffee and staff, to relax/meet or do some work. The included personal trainer sessions in membership are more valuable than you can imagine, focussing efforts on reliable techniques and passing on knowledge. Get your gym facilities, classes, pool and racket sports all in one place (plus regular optional events like team challenges), in the heart of west London. - Member for 2.5years. Edit - 10 months after above - all above still applies, and adding that through organised events put on by the Hogarth I have also embedded more in the community, making good friends (for tennis and generally) and enjoying the rejuvenating evening social scene - big 40th birthday celebrations for the club recently were great fun!! I am in this place most days, whether to do an hour or two of work, have a coffee, lunch, tennis match, stretch, swim etc. Lucky to live 10 mins walk away!

Fantastic experience: Have been back to the club on numerous occasions since reopening; the level of cleanliness and signage is better than in any other establishment I’ve visited. There is no comparison to pubs and restaurants I’ve recently visited - I have positive antibodies so a degree of immunity but follow all the mask and hand cleaning rules. Well done Hogarth

Friendly staff with and great overall atmosphere and top of the range facilities that are improving with the new outside gym space. Deserves my 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism Very well done to all at the Hogarth. Your attention to little details and cleanliness is first class. Opening the tennis courts in May was a major boost to many players. Special thanks to all staff who are really helpful and always have a smile!

Fantastic experience: Myself and my partner have joined the club recently and could not be more impressed. The H&S measures around the club are easy to follow and enforced in an incredibly polite manner when necessary by the wonderful staff. The limit of 3 in the pool is brilliant and means not only do you feel safe, but you actually get a lovely uninterrupted swim in as well. The bar is lovely and again really good cleaning mechanisms in place in all parts of the club. I think of all the public spaces I have been since lockdown being relaxed, here is the place dealing with the new guidelines in the best manner. Love it!

Fantastic experience: The staff has put in humongous efforts to make the club safe - and it shows! New online booking for the pool (only 3 max at a time!), cleaning crews continuously cleaning, staff all wearing protective face coverings, anti-bacterial stations everywhere, newly designed lockers, one-way system, socially distanced equipment/barrier in betweens, etc... it is deeply reassuring to see them making us all feel safe enough to visit, stay and use their facilities! Keeping the guests safe, AND the staff safe - that's how it should be! Thanks, Hogarth!

Fantastic experience: The Hogarth staff have done amazingly well to provide a super safe environment for members returning to use the facilities. The arrangements for use of the pool have been carefully thought out and work really smoothly and efficiently. Fantastic experience: Great health club. I have to say the food was amazing. I'm a big foodie, so quite the critic. For lunch I had a katsu curry, served with rice, which was very tasty and the chicken was very good quality, followed by amazing dessert which was a trio (Banofee Pie, Salted Caramel Brownies and chocolate covered strawberrys). I don't think I've had a banofee pie that has tasted that good. Spa facilities were good and clean. Nice atmosphere throughout. Great bar with a good selection of drinks. Parking on site, plenty of it. Great experience and a good day out.

Fantastic experience: It is amazing what the Hogarth have achieved in this small but unique club which we all love. Hats off to Tim and the team for the ingenuity that has gone into making the cub safe but still atmospheric to spend time . Our new Robot "Hellios" is the latest new member keeping the club hygienically on top of this virus. Thank you to all its a haven for me and many of our fellow guests!

Fantastic experience: Very good facilities (gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room), lots of classes, hardly ever crowded, and with a nice cafe/bar attached. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Tonight I visited Hogarth for the first time. Whilst working. The staff were amazing and the place was clean and the facilities were amazing. I will definitely be back to visit again. From the moment I walked in the energy was great. They even had a pyramid sign on the wall as I walked in, working in mental health on a daily basis, I love how the health club promotes all aspects of this. Maybe you might fancy a drop in clinic for mental health in that beautiful cafe of yours someday and I can pop down for work again? Thanks for being such a nice venue to work at. Fantastic experience: Very good club, glad I found it. Spent 7 years at Virgin Active Chiswick Park before I tried Hogarth, wish I'd done so sooner. For this review I will compare the two clubs. I go for the gym (mainly weightlifting) and the pool/jacuzzi area. I don't do any classes so can't comment on these. VA Chiswick Park Advantages: -Loads of natural light on gym floor thanks to all round floor to ceiling windows -(Slightly) wider selection of equipment -approx £30 per month cheaper than Hogarth Hogarth Advantages: - Smaller, friendlier atmosphere. This is really noticeable. Everyone so much friendlier here. - Gym less busy so hardly ever any waiting times for equipment, unlike VA. - Opens at 6am (VA at 06:30) - Loads of parking (notoriously difficult at VA) - Much cleaner (VA has gone down hill and is really dirty in places, especially male changing) - Jacuzzi is really hot, lovely to get in. At VA it's often only warm. I could go on. Its a smaller, less busy, much friendlier, much cleaner club that opens earlier, is easier to park at, and generally nicer in most ways. If the gym area had more natural light and was bigger with more kit, then it'd be perfect, but you can't have everything I suppose! Definitely recommended. If you want a good gym, join Hogarth. The only reason I'll ever leave is if I move out of the area.

Fantastic experience: Staff are so welcoming and friendly, they cannot do enough for you! Facilities are amazing. The locker room feels private and is always spotlessly clean, pool is a good length and there is a wide choice of machines and always one free to use! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the Hogarth Health Club since 2004. If you are serious about working out the club meets your needs. If you are looking for a social club it meets those needs too. In recent years, the management have made lots of improvements in the gym, studios, and bar area. Although there has been change, the club has maintained its friendly, personal atmosphere which is at the heart of the club.

Fantastic experience: There are not enough positive words I can describe about the Hogarth Gym! It truly is a special and unique place. From somebody who a year ago did not like gyms in the slightest ..I never thought I would have found somewhere that in many ways I can now call my safe/relaxing place where I can switch off and focus on me! Before or after a days work or even at the weekends it has become part of my daily routine which I would not change for the world. When you join you are given the chance to connect with a personnel trainer and continue sessions after. I was so lucky to be placed with an incredible PT called Helena, who really is one in a million and has been helping me achieve my goals! I Love attending as many different classes that the gym has to offer - and there are alot so you will not be disappointed! ALL the staff from reception, through to the P.Ts, Cafe staff and cleaners are beyond friendly and offer an exceptional customer service!

Fantastic experience: I've been an on/off member for about ten years and it's the only club that's treated me as an actual person. Very pleased with the refurbishment that's going on.

I have just joined the Hogarth Health Club having been warmly welcomed on my first visit by Jo Harris who discussed the most suitable membership options. Jo kindly invited me to have a trial session at the club. I enjoyed a very pleasant visit in lovely surroundings, trying the pool, the smart new sauna and the well-equipped gym and relaxing in the cafe afterwards. Jo and all of the staff have been very friendly. I am looking forward to enjoying the excellent facilities and many options available for my fitness programme for the autumn and beyond.
