Richmond Barre

Fantastic experience: Richmond Barre is an exceptional barre studio that also offers a live stream service. Every class is the result of meticulous planning, a serious knowledge of barre and ballet; and also movement and exercise generally, and a passion the rich history of the technique. I love love love Helen and Georgina, I've been taking classes online for 12 months and joining the Richmond Barre family was THE BEST decision I made. My understanding of barre as a movement modality, of barre as exercise and of barre as a practice is so much richer thanks to RB. Technique and form are so important and Helen and Georgina truly guide you in the understanding of this - meaning you practice the technique effectively. And this comes from a places of expertise and knowledge and longevity in teaching. I highly recommend RB to all - whether you're new to barre or have been taking classes for a long time.

Fantastic experience: I had never done barre before and was quite unfit when I went to Richmond Barre the first time. Helen was great at explaining, correcting and motivating me. Super friendly environment as well, you'll see lots of regulars! To be honest it's the first time I have been enjoyed 'working out' in a very long time. 100% recommend if you are looking for low impact but super effective exercise!
