Fantastic experience: We took a group of 20 1st Ferring Sea Scouts for a leisure pool session whilst on camp nearby. They were in the pool for three hours and had a great time. The wave machine was especially popular. :-)

Fantastic experience: Only took my great granddaughter for her swimming lesson but I thought it was very clean and everyone seemed to enjoy rhemselves

Fantastic experience: This pandemic caused a lot of changes to be made and the Sovereign Centre staff has, in my opinion, coped as well as they could in making sure the centre is as safe as reasonably possible. I think 60 people in the fun pool during a session is probably still too many but at least they are trying. The dressing rooms and poolside areas have been clean and tidy each time we have been able to use the facilities.

Fantastic experience: I am the chair lady of the group Young at Heart for the over 50's who meet up there on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursdays. We have use of the gym, pool's sports hall. Plus social events. It's brilliant.

Fantastic experience: The changing rooms are a little outdated but kept clean apart from that it's a brilliant facility.

Fantastic experience: We went to the big wave night and the children loved it, plenty of inflatables to play with and continues waves.

Fantastic experience: Kids always loved it here. Occasionally untidy but as it is so busy that's fair enough. Food is not bad.

Fantastic experience: The pool is really good for the grandchildren especially with the wave machine.

Positive experience: Good to be back to swimming, a bit dated facilities but good location, membership definitely worth considering otherwise you pay nearly £7/entry.

Positive experience: Good place. Flume, wave machine and fountains all good. But beware, you may well be subjected to the music of Chris de Burgh.

Fantastic experience: really good and it was a pleasure to see the 2 male life guards on today to control how many could be in each lane. Well done those guys.This was between 7am and 8am.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous centre really friendly helpful staff shout out to hannah varney who helped me with booking when I won a family swim our little man had a whale of a time And was clean tidy no used plasters in sight!

Fantastic experience: Great! Lots of mummies, daddies and children in the fun pool. I swim in the gala pool (lane swimming) which is going back to 6 lanes from Mon 19-7-21. Have found a new home at the Sovereign Centre since Motcombe closed. Lots of friendly swimmers and staff ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Always helpful staff and customer focused.Tim and Kim were so attentive to my needs. In no time my son was back on track with his lessons. Despite the current challenges staff are constantly sanitising wherever you look and service users respectfully following guidelines. Book in advance and all will be well!! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: It's the Covid Vaccine centre at the moment. Well run. I was asked to attend btn 1600 and 1900 hrs. Very busy but no hold ups. Time from leaving home to having jab and back home, one hour. Excellent

Fantastic experience: I was apprehensive for my first session back, but no need. The equipment in thd gym was socially distanced and there was plenty of sanitizer . Very few swimmers in the pool too...so all good.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience with my 6month olds first ever swim, most places local to me only allow baby swims on weekends which was not what I want with her first swim being more crowded, sovereign dident need to book not over crowded, allowed to get changed in the centre and have a locker,, everything was clean and plenty of hand sanitisers plotted about the place, friendly helpful staff and really good prices

Fantastic experience: Nice but the water is cold. Some like it that way I suppose, not me. Edit; The smaller pool was a lot warmer, and more pleasant for me. Only the gala pool was open when I visited.

Fantastic experience: Regular gym/pool. Place gets if fair share of bad press but employees work tirelessly to keep the place running. As the saying goes you don't know what you've got until it's gone.

Fantastic experience: Booked 1.30pm to 3 pm. Entered 1.15 and found somewhere to sit. Grandchildren swam from 1.30pm after lifeguard had cleaned barriers and tables. Very good sanitising. Supervision of swimmers by lifeguards was exemplary. Lots of fun for all customers. Very Very good.

Fantastic experience: Love Sovereign. Really good choice of classes from Aqua classes, studio classes to small classes on the gym floor where I can learn techniques and correct posture of exercises I can do while in the gym. Free one hour with personal trainer and programme card I can take home plus additional three free reviews of my programme card. Boditrax is also great for keeping an eye on my body fat percentage and my muscles. Plus unlimited access to pool & sauna. Really good value.

Fantastic experience: I signed up because of classes, I wasn't sure about the gym at first but Olga made me feel at ease, showed me what to do and now I'm actually looking forward to go next time! Thank you Olga:)

Fantastic experience: I love this place, I love the pools the gym it has everything although sometimes the fountains or jacuzzi arnt working. the only downfall is why does it shut so early?? 6pm weekends when it's family time & most of us are off work !!! Most people are busy all week working & look forward to the weekend, the only time we can come as a family or have more time to go to the gym & it shuts early. Why? I don't understand.

Fantastic experience: I love the Sovereign Centre, I enjoy the relaxed inclusive atmosphere, I’m never feel uncomfortable about my inabilities in the pool or gym. The staff are friendly and helpful. The membership is great value for money and includes gym, swim and all my classes. Easy parking. Plus a Costa.

Fantastic experience: Thought I would try the Sovereign centre gym as I was fed up with the price increases at David Lloyd. I very surprised and impressed with the quality and range of the kit. They seem have ever piece gym kit you could want including power plates and stair climbers. Value for money wise they are a third of the price my DL membership and with things like a full 25m pool, sauna, steam and Costa coffee to finish I have found my new gym

Fantastic experience: A great place for fitness, fun, and overall well being. Ideal for adults and children alike, there's something for everyone :) Wave Rave on a Friday night is fab for the kids, and the fitness suite has a great range of equipment for a solid workout. The lower cost and community feel make it a real gem of the local area.

Fantastic experience: Last nite was the first time I have been to h20 in over 15yrs.i used to take my daughter every Friday and it used to b amazing.now my daughter is 24 and all I can say is the atmosphere was amazing.it took me a little while to adjust to noise but my granddaughter and uncle loved it .I recommend it to every one .family's ECT.will defferlently b there again NXT Friday and it will b a weekly occurrence.

Fantastic experience: Girls had a great time at Wave Rave pool party, lots of fun, games and prizes, then onto Aqua Challenge which girls had a great time using up all their energy, IRS definitely harder than it looks we had so much fun watching them, well supervised by lifeguards, great music to, good value for money would thoroughly recommended both these at Sovereign Centre

Fantastic experience: I'm not a member but decided it was worth a mention that your reception staff (23/08/18) are incredibly kind. I approached them with a dog on a lead and a 6 year old desperate for the toilet and one of the ladies took him through to the facilities for me. Certainly service beyond expectation and I'm not even a customer!

Fantastic experience: Took my 19month old here last weekend. Now he spent the first 40minutes petrified and clinging to me like an extra limb, sobbing his little heart out. Then one of your pool photographers came and asked if she could help. Well the woman needs a halo and a payrise as within 10 minutes he was in the water playing and happily walked into the water up to his chest! I think her name was Louise and the pictures she took were beautiful. If only we lived closer I would bring him here every week! Great pool, well priced and fabulous staff.

Fantastic experience: Great gym facilities, I find it hard to train in the morning, however The Sovereign Centre gym staff are always welcoming and bubbly even at 6.30am. There are plenty of machines to choose from and the air conditioning really helps! The shower facilities are clean, considering the age of the building. Overall a great place.

Fantastic experience: In general everything is perfect for me. Specially the toilets are very clean and tidy. The staff always attentive , having the "can do attittude". The food sold is really "pricy" and needs to improve its standards. The gym is really great, staff always there when you need some support. Mandie Grace - Personal Trainer is a fantastic Professional, helping me to recover from some injures caused due my last Brighton Marathon. They have here a very happy customer ! !

Fantastic experience: Excellent - not sure what many of the other reviews are on about? - Yes it's a little bit frayed round the edges, but I've been to leisure centres all over the UK and this is one of the best. My kids love the swimming and I love the gym!

Fantastic experience: Love the gym and facilities.we have a family get together on sunday at pool we all have loads of fun .plus children attend some classes though out the year.
