Average Joe’s Fitness works with people who are committed to becoming the very best version of themselves. Our experienced team invest heavily in the realisation of your dream results and work on a “greater input, greater output” mentality. Available pretty much 24/7 via our Facebook Member’s Page, our supportive trainers are quick to respond to any questions you may have along the way, as well as organising fun fitness events for you to enjoy with our other members.
Our training schedule is designed to make your life as easy as possible and you are not required to stick to the same training times or classes each week. We appreciate that being flexible to your needs and availability is key to helping you achieve the best possible results.
Our ethos is to provide a friendly, ego-free experience for all. Whether you’re just starting out or have been training for years, we can guide you to the next level of fitness. Our friendly and experienced trainers will ensure you make the most of every workout, smashing your goals alongside like minded people.
We don’t believe in any one method or style of training, and instead cover almost every type of training and exercise out there. From boxing, weight training and cardio, to HIIT, functional training and kettlebells. Ultimately, this avoids plateaus, keeps training exciting and stops you getting bored of the same old routine!
For maximum results we combine our training with a flexible, personalised approach to nutrition. If you are aiming to loose weight, gain muscle or live a healthier lifestyle, we have a plan to suit you! Not to mention, hundreds of recipes to teach you how to make meal times simpler, tastier and healthier.
Based at Stonehills in Pelaw, our state of the art private studio offers small group training, where everyone truly is welcome. Community spirit is important to us at Average Joe’s and we consider ourselves to be a ‘fitness family,’ encouraging and helping each other every step of the way on our health and fitness journeys.

Fantastic experience: Awesome informative and supportive place to work out!
Fantastic experience: Great classes and trainers. Gym is clean and equipment is really good too. Great class times in the morning as well.
Fantastic experience: Great gym and friendly environment. The coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. They provide amazing strength/hypertrophy sessions along with hiit style and crossfit style sessions. They have somehow combined every important aspect of fitness together. It should be worth mentioning that hiit classes are based on simple and safe exercises which will keep you away from injuries (even if your technique is not very good), something which is not very common in the modern fitness industry.
Fantastic experience: Been going to Joe's for over 3 year now, I've been to other places in that time also but nothing compares to Joe's, The training is always excellent and no repeatative. Coaches Joe, Scott & Bev are some of the best I've been coached by always will to help and push you to the next level. Team days out amd weekends away rombclimbing mountains to Coasteering

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Average Joe’s highly enough. A fantastic facility with a great range of equipment. More importantly, Joe and the other trainers give you their time and experience regardless of the level you are at. The fitness classes, strength and conditioning classes and Joe’s one to one personalised nutritional advice have helped me reach goals in a short space of time.
Fantastic experience: Really enjoying the sessions, Joe knows his stuff!! Friendly and inviting, you will be sure to see he is the difference. A welcoming group at each time slot. I was a beginner and Joe works to all levels. I started 1 month ago and I can already see the difference!! Get a kick start!!
