Fantastic experience: Fantastic Leisure Centre with lots of different options for keeping fit and for fun. Clean and staff very knowledgeable and helpful. There is a cafe for refreshments. The members fee is very reasonable.

Fantastic experience: They've made it much nicer. The pool and the sports facilities have always been good but the recent upgrades of the decor, the cafe and seating area make this a lovely place to be.

Fantastic experience: Just went for a swim with my daughter. Lovely to see they've got the floats out so they can all just play about and have fun. Busy place but for seven quid for two. You can see why. Bit chilly to start with but once you get going quite pleasant. Will definitely use again

Fantastic experience: I have visited Salt Ayre for many years and I've seen positive changes in the layout and updates to facilities. There is a good social side to visits. I have attended Zumba, Zumba Gold, Aqua Fitness, Step, Shabam, Body Jam and AB Circuits. The variety of group sessions with access to the gym, is fantastic from early morning to later evening, seven days a week. A wide choice of memberships or 'pay as you go' sessions. Staff and everybody who attends is very friendly. One of my favourite places to be ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: Spa - recovering from an operation and decided to go for a spa sauna day with my partner, will recommend it to anyone. The staff where excellent and the place is well maintained and clean. The sauna experience was well worth the money and we will be returning very soon. Thanks for a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best local.sports centre ive been to, has excellent facilities. Emma Zumba Clayton does Zumba Gold which my 75 yr old mum really enjoys.

Fantastic experience: Had my daughters 10th birthday we did the xheight excellent service as always a host greeted us showed us to the party room. The instructors where great kids ages from 5-10 and varying abilities really encouraging and supportive of the children. Food was great plenty to go round we had 11 children to the party and 9 climbers. Highly recommend salt ayre for party's great service, great value for money. What was really lovely is that becuase our party was so small and the last of the day the staff let the kids run round energy (indoor play area) for 20 mins once the general public had left. Thanks guys I'm sure me and the girls will be back again before long for our bi weekly swim n play.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely in all areas of this Leisure Centre...everyone is so helpful and polite...Cafe is fab and credit to the cleaning staff it is spotlessly clean...management and staff are a credit to the place...Lancaster County Council should be awarding this place with the highest merit it can give

Fantastic experience: Great place good variety of classes staff are lovely and overall it's a great place with a wide variety of age groups and classes to suit all abilitys only thing I think could improve is the refuel cafe sometimes there's a bit of a wait which isn't great when uv got classes back to back and it could benifit from more swimming lessons for children to reduce the waiting list for swim classes but like I said overall it's a great gym lots of good equipment and a wide variety of classes and instructors are great :)

Fantastic experience: Love it! Best thing I have done getting a membership. Classes are brilliant. Through the pandemic the health and safety measures have been brilliant. Staff are all knowledgeable and happy to help. Love the booking system!

Fantastic experience: The Gym itself has had an amazing upgrade (almost as good as a David Lloyd I use to go to at 1/3rd the cost - very good), in the gym I was lucky to have a program set by Sam who also does some fun spin classes. I like the card instantly brings up your account on most gym equipment and my spotify. The spin studio is my favourite part of the complex and the trainers (especially the freelance ones I've seen her off the bike, dancing.punching the air to the music - brilliant) but in general they are all pretty great. So there are great trainers - friendly and helpful staff, and very good facilities. Update on this - 2 years on and its even more amazing with the loveliest staff and instructors. It became my second home!!

Fantastic experience: When the centre reopened after lock down, we received a warn and friendly welcome back. Great efforts have been put in place to ensure a safe environment although not all facilities are open yet

Positive experience: Facilities generally are good. Pool is cold, so not good for young babies. The gym and training rooms are well equipped. Some staff are very nice and welcoming and helpful, others not so much.

Fantastic experience: I attended the gym, classes and spar. The gym has good equipment although busy. There is a wide range of exercise classes and the spar is amazing! Modern and relaxing.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym facilities, no queueing to use the machines. Friendly and helpful staff. Children's play area very good although cafe area needs attention.

Fantastic experience: I go for the Sunday morning Adult only Swims. It's lovely and quiet. Half the pool is used by local Otters swimming team for their training/coaching, but they are laned-off, and the remainder of the pool is for a general swim.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I go practically every week and have done for about 2 years. The staff are friendly and helpful, the swimming pool and Gymny Crickets is amazing, and the kids soft play area is lively and noisy and exactly what you'd expect. My daughter loves it and most of the staff know her by sight if not by name- it's become almost a second home to her. Can't speak highly enough of the place.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant. Used the soft play today. My 4 year old absolutely lovely. Was great value for money. Also had some food and that was lovely and very well priced.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her swimming party here. It was absolutely brilliant at a great price including food. She also loves it at the indoor climbing wall. The facilities for children are great and the food and drink are brilliant quality.

Fantastic experience: I am not a fan of the gym, however Salt Ayre is more than that. There is a wide variety of classes for all abilities. The swimming pool is good and the Aqua fit classes are very good too. I joined the toning tables with classes and love it. I had to lose some weight and it really helped me to get motivated. The staff are friendly and there is a wide variety of activities. I also took part in some of the active lives activities in the community and these are really good and often free. The food is varied but there are healthy options and it is always clean. If thinking about it give it a go.I joined with a friend and made lots more.

Fantastic experience: Tried the new Climbfit class tonight a mixture of wall climbing, cardio and endurance which works really well together The instructors were great, taking safety on the walls and in the climbing area seriously. They encouraged you to push yourself all through the class, well done to them. I've given the class 5* as I enjoyed all aspects of it and I think it's a great idea. Ill definitely be back for another session

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place for all. From sports and fitness. Beauty therapy in the spa. Jacuzzi. Adult & child pool. Slide into the pool. Inflatables. Gymnastics which my daughter loves. Lots of fitness classes & also a room with fitness bikes and big screen to feel like ur riding outside. Eating area,new healthier options. Soft play area. Gravity climbing outside & the xheight climbing walls inside. Swimming parties. Soft play parties. Climbing wall parties. Just call in sure they'll accommodate your needs the customer service is beyond brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Amazing facilities. Went for a relaxing spa with the wife. 4 different saunas, amazing layout. Great fun for the kids aswell. Indoor play area, Swimming pool, climbing wall and plenty more

Fantastic experience: My first experience of Salt Ayre and I was very impressed. The staff member was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Really encouraging me to take part and embrace my fitness plan (I'm not a gym bunny) i feel keen to get involved and make a change in my health. Great Salt Ayre staff team!!!

Fantastic experience: We went today for my sons birthday, the boys went on the new Gravity ziplines and free fall jumps then had lunch in the new cafe area and then inflatables swimming session had a great day staff where spot on.

Fantastic experience: I'm loving the new gym. Plenty of space and equipment. I have my own fitness programme which I follow. I only wish there was women who use the free weights section, as I hate the way the men dominate the area.
