Fantastic experience: Its okay.

Positive experience: Left here in 2019 to go to Inspire as they were supposed to be better. Once lockdowns were over I came back.Active Fitness is a friendlier gym, always can get on equipment and classes. The app is great with at home workouts and staff are helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Best place if you are local and looking for a low budget gym.

Fantastic experience: Just read other reveiws "Oh dear". Been going for 3months ish now. For me this gym gives me everything I want. The equipment and floor space. I've paid stupid money at other gyms in the past and been forced to pay for stuff I won't and wouldn't use, or I've had to cue for equipment when they give away a load of free passes. People using it as a social club and use equipment as seats. Active fitness has none of these normal annoyances. Offers a basic membership at a competitive price. It's a little rough, a bit dated. But so am I. Nice staff, good crowd. Everything is functional. Rarely wait for equipment. If anything it's because it's a functional gym. Not trying to feel or look like a hotel that keeps the normal annoying types away.

Positive experience: Good but weight room is a little rough and the dumbbells are in random order and never sorted there's also no lockers to put stuff or changing area, even cheaper gyms have this but gets the job done...

Fantastic experience: Don't listen to old reviews, this gym is great. Has made some great imprisonments, always taking the chance to get new things when they can. Lovely staff, nice women's only area, big space and has everything you need. Combat area is a big plus too!

Positive experience: Signed up recently . Gym is large and has everything you need . It's a bit spit and sawdust but I prefere that in a gym .. few little things such as smashed mirror in weights room needs fixing and few weights with missing end weight plates overall though I'm pleased with it so far

I usually just do weightlifting here as I run outdoors and do yoga at home, and cannot speak to the quality of classes. But as a gym for self-guided training, I enjoy it.

Positive experience: Fantastic facilities

Fantastic experience: Great classes, nice facilities and decent prices. Has a wide range of classes throughout the day and the instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. Personal trainers are available and there are classes tailored for people new to exercise and for those that are overweight/obese. Facilities include: treadmills and ellipticals, Spin Studio, Boogie Bounce Studio, Strength and Conditioning Area, Boxing Room, and Weight Area. Changerooms have lockers, showers, and a sauna. Recently moved to London and this gym is a lot better than the selection of gyms in London. Definitely would recommend and this gym almost makes me want to move back to Luton!
