Fantastic experience: I joined the gym last year for the first time and started working with Neil as my PT. It has been an enjoyable experience. The Gym is clean and has plenty of equipment for everyone, with plenty of sanitary stations located around. Neil has been very helpful in creating a food and exercise plan to get results, which I'm still seeing weekly.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism Great atmosphere, friendly staff. 90% of people put away their weights but if they fail to do that the gym staff always make sure the gym is clean and staff from any trip hazards.

Fantastic experience: Overall top gym. A lot of people attend so always busy, great to see familiar faces all the time. JD standards means all machines are in working condition, if any goes down, repaired usually next. I've got a great PT, Connor, that's him in the video (screenshot) flipping a 25kg weight and catching it! He's a very good PT and makes you sweat and cry Obviously if it gets over crowded you struggle to carry out the activity, but we've always found another machine or activity to do, but that's expected at peak times and with such a good pricing model and other gyms closing down (due to pandemic), sign ups were in droves. Classes are a variety and get's decent numbers of attendees to give good rhythm and flow. There's a small sauna in there and you can relax off-peak times, wouldn't be recommend at peak times.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality A excellent gym that has very helpful and professional gym and cleaning staff.The gym is very well maintained and cleaned.With all gyms not everything can be a good point and and there is obviously some room for improvement such as longer opening hours and a selfie area to take video and pictures.

Fantastic experience: A really nice Gym. Has all the machines, very spacious and very clean. Advice on timings Early mornings 6-10am nice and quiet. Afternoons 12-2pm relatively quiet, u can make use of most machines without wait. Evenings 5-8pm , very busy and you need to wait around a lot. Have been there for around a year now, really like it.

Fantastic experience: While working away from home I found jd gym Bolton was a local gum to my hotel, what a great place. Equipment is first class and a huge place over all. The staff I spoke to were great and showed me the facilities. The facilities them selves are great and very clean. Ill be using jd gym Bolton most days while I'm here. To tell you the truth its better than my local gym ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. All the latest equipment. Machines are always cleaned and have tables with cleaning products on them. Easy to sign up and no contract so you can leave whenever you want to. If I were to say anything negative it would be that it can get very busy at times however for £20 a month with no contract I can quite easy look past that.

Fantastic experience: Clean and fully equipped gym, lots of classes. Lots of cleaning equipment on hand to make sure you are safe during the current guidelines. Great crowd of staff and people too.

Fantastic experience: The machines are quite good and the staff is very helpful. I enjoy my sessions and have recommended the gym to friend. It can get busy at evenings but all gyms do... The hygiene is of paramount importance and the gym is always clean and tidy.

I was bit concerned about the size of gym which smaller than my old gym but I didn’t needed to because of plenty of equipments. Sam and the team are amazingly guys. Big thumbs. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: JD Gym Bolton is a great place to work out and the staff are very friendly and professional. I’d like to say a special thanks to the manager Shauna - she was super helpful when showing me around the gym. Shauna went above and beyond to ensure I knew how to use the equipment safely and effectively. Even though she was very busy she even took the time to write me a personal workout and talk me through each exercise! Couldn’t thank her enough!! xx

Positive experience: Well kitted out and if attending at off peak times usually pretty quiet. Cleaning stations dotted around the place however apart from that as if covid isn’t a thing. Loads of groups ignoring household mixing rules and doesn’t seem many people have heard of social distancing. No masks whatsoever even by the staff.

Fantastic experience: Had a rather tedious issue with my membership being cancelled instead of 'Frozen' and this caused me a big inconvenience. Sam went out of his way to assist me every time I came to the gym letting me in, and assuring me he would get it sorted. Having to explain why I needed letting in to staff members each time I came was a hassle to say the least, but Sam had this issue rectified within a week and even reinstated my membership with a promotional offer so that I wouldn't have to pay anything for the first month. I'm a customer service executive, so I have high expectations when it comes to customer service and Sam fulfilled these in every way. If I'm completely honest, my experience with the regional team wasn't great and I was not wanting to continue my membership, but Sam renewed my opinion on JD gyms. Can't speak higher of him for the efforts he went to, when nobody else would! to say he's a credit to the gym would be an understatement- this level of customer service & after care should be an industry standard, sadly this isn't the case so when you're on the receiving end of it you know to appreciate it!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym - good standard of equipment, any machines are rarely broken if you tend to use those, wide range of dumbbell and barbell weights as well as enough equipment available for a huge amount of people. The place itself is really big and the space has been really well used unlike other gyms where you find they could fit in twice as much as they do have if they used their space more wisely. Not a problem here. Genuinely, I've been to a lot of gyms across 3 cities over the years and this is by a country mile the best gym I've ever been to, especially for the price you pay. That statement will be less applicable though if you're looking for a gym with a swimming pool or kids' classes/area etc.

Fantastic experience: Nicely refurbished to a very high standard and a sauna is now available here. Fantastic place with loads of equipments for all.
