Fantastic experience: My first time in a gym and it was a really good one! Really enjoyed it. Modern up to date machines with instructions on how to use and what muscles they work, plenty of cleaning stations for wiping down what you e touched afterwards, lockers available if needed and vending machines for water and healthy snacks. This has been a lovely introduction to fitness a d has put my anxiety about working out in a public space to rest

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. Been coming here for over a year. Although busy at times there is enough room to get your training in. Well equipped and overall good gym. Biggest bonus is the 24h schedule.

Fantastic experience: Far superior to the wakefield gym, for starters the kit is fresh and newer, also unlike wakefield where a substantial amount of machines are broken they have working kit

Fantastic experience: You need to go to the top floor of the carpark, not ideal if you have longish car. You'll see what I mean when you have a bash at it.

Fantastic experience: Been a member of every gym in Barnsley over the years and simply love this place. No fuss, no drama just plenty of room, plenty of kit. Staff are very friendly and loads of cleaning stations during the Covid-19 crisis. Very reasonably priced too and just as good as the more expensive options around.

Positive experience: Good gym plenty of kit be fantastic if weights were more organised dumbbell racks all muddled up and plates can be a ball ache to look for but plenty of cables parkings tight and not 24hr like the gym

Fantastic experience: I expect a lot of people won't know this, but they have a physio room at the gym. Although I have not used the equipment, I am impressed by all the different types of equipment and how very clean and up to date they are. This place has something for any stage of keep fit, whether like me your getting older by the minute or a youngster in their 20's. It is fully supported by qualified staff who are only too happy to help, guide, and encourage you in your efforts, all done in a friendly atmosphere. Great place to become enthused into having a healthier body and comes with a affordable monthly price tag.

Fantastic experience: I visited The Gym for the first time tonight, after being a member at DW for a number of years, I was very impressed by the socially distanced machines, the shower and changing area are very clean. It was quick and easy to join online.

Fantastic experience: 24/7 gym, good equipment and classes. Perfect for all skill levels. Inexpensive... The only down side is that there's no staff on site after 10pm, so you can't gain entry if your code doesn't work.
