Fantastic experience: I have been using the facility for over 2 months now.. I am very impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff always are. In addition to the professional staff, both the gym and pool area are well maintained and impeccably clean. I would recommend the village to anyone considering a new gym in the area.

Fantastic experience: Great work by staff member Jason, I came back to my locker after swimming and found it open and empty, in a panic I told Jason, he reassured me he would help. Concerned about my wallet and phone I then realised I had actually used the locker next door, but my code wasn't working for some strange reason. He quickly contacted Mgmt for the master key and got me my stuff back. Give the man a raise !

Fantastic experience: We have had an amazing stay at the Village in Bournemouth, Jack on reception in particular was a brilliant help, especially when we needed a fan for our room. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic experience: The vibe and atmosphere in general is great, people and staff are really nice and professional! The facilities are ok, the swimming pool is big and it's always good to swim after a good workout, and end up at the steam room or sauna is amazing feeling after long day!

Fantastic experience: Awesome pool sauna steam etc. Large car park 4 hours free parking. Lots of TVs for sport in bar. Starbucks concession. Very sunny outside in afternoon with plenty of seats. Easy to find just off the spur road come off at junction for hospital as its right next to RBH. Well opposite actually to be fair! Good base for Bournemouth beaches .. bus stops literally just by the entrance. If staying in hotel there is a 5.00 parking fee..but a lot cheaper than parking in Bournemouth! Taxis are also readily available.

Fantastic experience: Really good, well equipped gym. Friendly people. Great sized pool. Not too busy. Cleaning stuff for COVID. Using the app can see how busy machines are etc and plan visit. Nice atmosphere. Easy parking and good selection of classes.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at the Village Gym for a little over two years. I've tried many gyms over my time and have never come across the amazing community spirit that is unique to this gym. The instructors are so enthusiastic and ensure that classes are fun and leave you wanting to come back for more. There is a wide range of classes to choose from and a huge gym that caters for all abilities. The pool is fab as its huge and the changing rooms ensure you can beautify yourself after a sweaty workout. The members and instructors alike make it a gym that enables you to feel confident and to push yourself to hit your goals as there's always someone around to encourage you and celebrate your successes.

Fantastic experience: I started back at the gym/pool Bournemouth the day it reopened and could n't have been happier. The welcome from the team, the organisation and social distancing and cleanliness were all spot on. I have been most days since, still relatively quiet there so if people are having doubts I would definitely recommend getting back to training/swimming etc. Best I've felt since March! Fantastic experience: I don’t often do things like this but I feel it needs to be said and acted upon. I attended body pump last night, my usual instructor was away and Dan Scott was covering the class. He is an exceptional teacher. I honestly can’t think of the proper words to convey how special he is. He worked us really hard ( I’ve been doing pump for years) but all the while making us smile and keeping the mood upbeat. I had forgotten how good he is as I hadn’t done a class with him for a very long time. He has a special talent of making everyone feel included and making the class such fun which is a really hard thing to do in pump! He deserves high praise and everyone who meets him knows they are richer for it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym,fantastic value for great equipment, staff are really friendly and the gym has a very welcoming atmosphere. Pool area great and very covid safe.You can see all staff regularly cleaning all areas of gym,changing rooms and pool are. I drive from Ringwood to the village gym because I feel it the best gym I've ever trained in.

Fantastic experience: I switched to Village after feeling there wasn’t enough to challenge or motivate me at my last gym. I get really nervous about decisions like this and was really worried it’d be too big, too unfriendly and I’d not be good enough, but it’s been amazing! Such a huge variety of classes on at all times of the day, and the instructors are friendly and encouraging. The pool is great, changing facilities well-equipped (hello GHD’s!) and the gym is MASSIVE. You could never get bored or stuck in a rut here. The best thing has been the sense of community though. Great mix of people and energies, and it’s just a safe space to be you.

Fantastic experience: Popped my head around the gym door the other day. Wow, so impressed! Well done staff for all your hard work. Pool was lovely. Changing rooms clean. Staff really helpful and friendly. Maintenance man (don’t know his name) rushed off and purchased something for me at the cafe, as I forgot my cards. How nice was that Thank you all of you ❤️ Can’t be easy trying to keep everyone safe and fit n healthy. And you always get that one customer rattling on about ‘vouchers’ Thank you xx

A truly unique fitness experience is celebrated here, with endless knowledge and passion from all its invaluable staff. A warm community of members buzz around the gym as every instructor consistently strives to ensure each member is made to feel challenged and valued on the gym floor and in all group classes. Enthusiasm, experience and pride are just a few of the words that spring to mind when describing the fitness staff and you can be sure that the Village Gym Bournemouth will become your second family overnight! Dan, Chloe and Carol deserve an extra special mention and if you have the opportunity to book classes with these incredible instructors, I couldn't recommend high enough!

Fantastic experience: I have always found the Village Gym to be a very friendly, well run club with a good variety of classes and a well equipped gym. Since reopening after Covid I have been really impressed with the measures put in place to keep everyone safe, and feel very confident using the facility. The staff all wear masks, they take your temperature at reception, cleaning is frequent and thorough. All of this is done with enthusiasm by the staff who are the organisation’s best asset. They work well together as a team and make members feel welcome. The Covid measures actually make the experience more pleasant as there is more space in the studios and the gym. The Village has an app that tells you the capacity at any given time, allowing you to make an informed decision as to whether to go or not. The only downside to limiting capacity on classes is that they are harder to book onto, but I am sure, in time, schedules will be reviewed. I recommend anyone to join or or or re-join.

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Dorset! When i started i was sick, unhealthy, and the doctors said to exercise but to be careful. Guess what? In 7 months i lost 1.5stone/10kg and i put a lot of muscle mass on. I attende Lesmills classes given by Chloe Lamming 4 times a week, she's AMAZING. She makes things look easy, and once you in that class you will be coming back for more regardless how hard it was. Everyone is friendly i do recommend this place 100%
