Fantastic experience: I have been coming as a customer to Eckington swimming pool and sport's centre since i was a kid and now an adult customer and instructor. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The pool is warm and very clean The changing facilities are great with open and private shower areas. Changing facilities and under floor heating. Use of 3 hairdryers too. The Time table for classes and pool has a good variety for all abilities. The cost is very reasonable for both payg and membership. The coffees and snack bar Is also a lovely space to either watch the pool or catch up after a session. Great place to come for all.

Fantastic experience: Clean changing rooms. Pool is clean and well kept. The pool is about to go though some renovations to make it even better. It has been a bit difficult over covid but it's just the same everywhere else. The gym is modern and was only recently upgraded. pricing seams fair. I don't have a full membership I just pay for individual sessions.

Positive experience: I really like this pool. At present the lanes are large in size due to COVID but at least it means there is plenty of space. The changing rooms are clean and well presented and the pool is clean and well maintained. My only reservation such as it is is that I am not allowed to use my training fins so a session where I can would be great.

Fantastic experience: I joined the gym this week and made very welcome by the team My gym instructor ollie was superb very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble took time with every piece of equipment showing how to use it safely explaining the benefits of it and also a bonus about diet Thankyou ollie and the team

Fantastic experience: I only use the pool so I can't comment on the gym. The pool is 25 meters with 8 lanes. The unisex changing facility is clean and there are different size lockable cubicle to cater for individuals, families and the disabled (wheel chair users). There is a baby changing facility and there are different size lockers for your clothes which mirror the size of the cubicles a 1£ coin or trolley token is required to lock the locker. The pool itself remarkably clean and tidy, the water is pleasantly warm and the clorine level is quite low but it does the job and means my eyes don't water for hours after a swim. Since Covid 19 the regime has changed with the pool divided into 3 lanes, slow, medium 7 fast or Slow, Medium/Fast & family dependant on what time it is; with a maximum of 6 swimmers per lane

Fantastic experience: Recently joined the gym here and started taking their aquasize and aquajog classes and I'm really enjoying it. Pool is a decent temperature, changing rooms/showers and toilets are generally well looked after-just maybe need to mop toilet floors in cubicles a little more frequently - staff are very friendly, particularly Alison who does the gym and aqua classes,and the manager (think his name was Dave?!) Have now signed my son up too.

Fantastic experience: Come here every Monday with my friend and I enjoy it a lot. I used to get swimming lessons here but now just come here for fun. I've got a gym membership and the cool thing about that is if you go in the gym you get one hour in the pool for free. So one hour for the gym and one hour for the pool.

Fantastic experience: Try dive staff was amazing I went with my explorer scouts couldn't do enough for them! Life gard was very professional after a little problem we had thank you for letting us use your pool.

Fantastic experience: My children have been going for swimming lessons there for 4 years now. All the teachers we had were really good, supportive and very accommodating whenever you needed days/times changing. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Large basic shaped pool, friendly helpful staff, cheap cafe. Floats and toys available for kids to use . Usually always open for general swim.

Fantastic experience: Just started my daughter with swimming lessons there and I was blown away with how good they were. Small group sizes and a couple of helpers in the pool lending a hand when someones struggling a bit. The changing rooms are pretty clean and the staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Have recently started swimming for the first time in many years and am very impressed with the facilities on offer here. Friendly staff too. The opening times are fantastic with swimming starting at 7.00 am week days and 8.00 am weekends.

Fantastic experience: Newly refurbished, this is a great community facility. The staff are helpful and friendly. The gym is equipped with the latest equipment. There is a cafe area complete with a children's ball pool. There is a full programme of events throughout the week that covers the pool and gym area. I get a concession card because I have a bus pass, I haven't regretted joining for one minute.
