Vertical Joy is Gainsborough’s only pole dancing studio. We have as many aerial arts classes on the timetable now as we do pole dancing. The classes are full of talented people who love to dance! Whether you are completely new to the discipline or have been doing it for years and are looking for some help with competition choreography or advancement then our team can help. Pole dancing and aerial arts are sports (or perhaps lifestyles) that you have to be passionate about and we really are!

As time progresses you will likely opt for shorter shorts and what some consider more skimpy outfits hidden under warm weather clothing until your body is warm enough to reveal some skin. That is because skin on pole creates greater friction and enables those more advanced moves and holds to be possible. All body shapes and sizes are welcome – we celebrate difference and utilise everyone’s individual approach to vertical dance, pulling out strength you didn’t realise you had!
