Fantastic experience: The Gym is generally clean and tidy, and there is plenty of adequate equipment. The Staff are always friendly and helpful, and the gym has a nice relaxing vibe about it.

Fantastic experience: Really nice atmosphere, an open area and clean. The shower facilities are great with lots of lockers for storage of bags, etc. Equipment is well kept and there is clear information on all machines in case you need a little guidance to get you started. Staff seem friendly and knowledgeable too. Only downside is if you need to drive there, there is limited parking and the car park next to it is a £3.60 minimum for 4 hours. Can obviously park further afield and walk though and it’s easily accessible through road crossings.

Positive experience: Still those individuals who don't think it necessary to wipe down the equipment they use! They flit from piece of equipment to others, some checking to see if anyone is looking before moving on. Hands spread diseases, I and other users don't know where your hands have been!? COVID, Sneezing in to them, touching many unclean surfaces, not washing after going to the toilet...then they're touching the weights, running machines, etc etc with dirty hands. You play a recording about wiping down equipment, it was part of the enrolment questionnaire....yet a few individuals think wiping down is beneath them. Come on staff, you've got CCTV you walk about...pick up these individuals and get them to conform to what most other gym members are doing,or revoke their membership!!

Positive experience: Great selection of equipment, well laid out to avoid crowding. One draw back can be the lack of tread mills at very busy periods but plenty of alternatives available.

Positive experience: New gym, great equipment, staff are friendly. Reasonable prices. Unfortunately there are the minority who ruin the place, not flushing the toilets, broken the lockers,not wiping down and sanitising the equipment they've used, using their phones to make or take calls!

Fantastic experience: Lovely and clean, lots of helpful, friendly staff ,love the classes especially Craigs , yet to use just the gym equipment but have been shown around, thoroughly recommended

Positive experience: This gym is pretty good value for money, unfortunately the low cost does attract some people who don’t really care about the facility. Many not putting weights back when done, no order to the weights at all, lots of people not wiping down equipment and unchallenged by staff on site. One of the male trainers treats the place as a social place to chat up female customers one I happen to know and she felt very uncomfortable and won’t attend this gym anymore. Bins are often overflowing and seen by staff yet don’t get emptied. Toilets / showers are pretty dirty and could do with being cleaned more often. Soap on the back splash board of the shower was still their 2 days later. On the positive the gym does have a good range of equipment, I wouldn’t trust the app on how busy the gym is because I’ve attended when it states 35% busy and I’ve struggled to use the equipment I wanted to.

Positive experience: I have started to this place from the first day this is opened ! Everything is great but one thing i saw today was very unprofessional by a miserable Personal trainer ! Some of the staff needs to learn to talk to people seriously! So basically i have asked to this pt a question at the gate where was a queue so the answer i got back was okay but the attitude needs to be changed ! So will also review this on a higher managment exist on internet ... I am 33 yo and i dont deserved to be talked like that at all! So teach your staff to be nicer will be better! Thanks

Fantastic experience:

Positive experience: A decent gym as usual from "The Gym" group, although I feel like this place has gone with the cheap option with changing facilities with no designated male or female changing rooms, just 2 changing cubicles, & only 3 showers that double up as a toilet, not overly hygienic, not very nice walking out of the the shower onto dirty water on the floor, from where someone has used the hand basin whilst washing their hands in the shoes & really not ideal waiting around for showers to become available. Could do with more pegs in the WC/shower room & somewhere to dry your hands after too.

Fantastic experience: I had my first session yesterday 06.10.21, having been and signed up at the reduced offer rate the previous day. I would like to say thank you to the young lady member of staff that assisted me with the procedure and answered my questions about membership. This gym is all new. The building is new and what I like about it is the high ceiling height which makes the interior seem really light and airy and not at all claustrophobic. I am not unfamiliar with gyms but have been away from them for a few years since the gym at The Queens closed. I am 68 years of age and like working out at my own pace. The quality of the equipment, being all new, is really great. There are cleaning stations easily accessible and there are lockers for your personal items - just bring your own padlock. I highly recommend this establishment.
