Fantastic experience: Popular local pool from the Victorian era with small gym, fitness classes, sauna and steam room.

Fantastic experience: Every week day the pool opens at 7am and has laned swimming for different abilities, so is a brilliant way to start your work day. Sessions need to be booked in advance, but it never feels crowded. It has a steam room and sauna at the end of the pool, so it's a lovely way to relax after your swim.

Fantastic experience: A really great gym and swimming pool. Whilst gym facilities aren't particularly fancy, there's plenty in there to enable to full body workout. The facilities are spotless, the staff really friendly and classes have excellent content too. It's not ridicuinusy all the time, so plenty of space to workout without queuing for kit. The pool is fantastic, you do have to book at the moment, but I've never struggled to get in. There is space for spectators too!

Positive experience: My kids love it here. Nice for a wee dip. Just a pain having to carry shoes around as you're not allowed to leave them at the pool entrance.

Fantastic experience: My local pool. It's a joy. Beautiful Victoria era baths with a glass roof. 25 yard pool with lane swimming each lunchtime. They also have gym etc where they run various fitness classes.

Fantastic experience: The building is old but it's beautiful and really well kept and the facilities inside are spotless,modern and contemporary, sauna,steam room and pool with plenty of lifeguards just in case, I thought it would be rundown but it's not, very nice place

Fantastic experience: This is Glen Ogle swimming pool it contains a Victorian style pool two mates room and fitness room for classes it also has I left from the glenogle road entrance to allow access for wheelchairs you can also access the building from saxe-coburg Street but there is no wheelchair access from the side of the building.

Fantastic experience: Cracking wee pool centre and really enjoyable if you can get in... the only downside is that you really do have to check the timetable in advance as a LOT of the times you might want to go it's closed to the public as various schools / teams / lessons book it out. They used to have actual baths upstairs too, which was seriously quirky, but I'm pretty sure they're all gone now!

Fantastic experience: A lovely small fitness centre with lovingly preserved Victorian features just a five minute walk from the main street of Stockbridge. Facilities include a recently renovated 25m pool and gym, and a good variety of classes are offered in the small and cosy fitness studio where the max class size is around 12 people. The centre is well staffed and the staff are welcoming and helpful. There are a variety of payment options as well including pay-as-you go so you can attend classes and use the facilities without having to sign up as a member.

Fantastic experience: An awesome pool in what is, I suspect, a purpose built Victorian building which has been renovated. I haven't been to this pool for over 30 years and was delighted to see that it has been done up, has good ventilation and an excellent lighting system. The pool itself is quite small for a public pool but perfectly good. When I was there two lanes had been cut off for people swimming at speed and the other half for potterers like me.

Fantastic experience: As a visitor to the area I saw this and became jealous of the locals. 25 yard pool with small sauna and steam room alongside free weights and a cardiovascular area, in a well refurbished victorian setting. All aided by friendly helpful staff
