Fantastic experience: The expense of membership pays off when you can take the whole family there. There's a kids club so you can do a class while the children are entertained. Blaze is great, really pushes you! I'm seeing good results on my body already and feel great. Update - All of the disabled parking was occupied with about 60% of cars not displaying the disabled badge. Still better than Westbury branch :)

Fantastic experience: I think this place is great, where else can you get these top notch facilities in Bristol. To be able to relax in the sauna and jacuzzi after a workout is priceless and I value it so much. I don't do any classes so can't speak of their quality but they are always packed so they must be good. The gym facilities are the best I've experienced (apart from some treadmills aren't connected to the TV but I don't go there to watch TV so it's not worth putting that down). Tennis, food, coffee, swimming, gym, sauna, badminton and more can be enjoyed here. However it's hard not to feel entitled to perfection when you are paying so much money. The place will feel like a kids zone in peak hours, it does get really busy and it isn't perfect all the time but the lovely staff soften these blows. I think they do an awesome job! I just hope they don't sell too many memberships and the place gets too busy, but that's just me wanting it to myself. If you go after 8 it's mostly peaceful and you can get on any machine you want. PS I don't know what a fellow reviewer is on about when they say the soap is watered down, I actually find it the total opposite. I mean it's not the best and dries my skin out but it's included along with the towel so I can't complain.

Fantastic experience: Love the place. Have only just signed up but friendly staff and they know most people's names and always up for chat. The kids love the extra activities they can do. This gym may not be for everyone, but after using the other gyms, this one is definitely for me and the family.

Positive experience: Staff are always friendly. Great pool facilities usually availability. Both in door and out door. (I joined because of the pools they have) Spa can get very busy. however I do not think it’s worth £230 a month for a couple.

Fantastic experience: A progressive club which shows inclusion to all its members. Thank you to all staff working at the outdoor pool yesterday and to those that were involved in making the decision to allow flexibility in allowing children to use the children’s pool during the day before 4pm therefore requiring extra staffing. Taking such a pragmatic approach to the management of the outdoor area was greatly appreciated, by providing those with non school age children with the opportunity to use the outdoor facilities being their own children pool in the sunshine whilst also keeping the main pool adults only for those guests who wish to swim without children jumping into the pool. Such a compromise showed courage and commitment to ensuring policies are flexible and inclusive to all types of members. It also showed how the design of the club in having the two pools outside showed progression to a more inclusive environment for all, something I hope DL take forward on some of their other clubs who currently don’t have this option. I just wanted to say how great we find everyone at the club from the reception staff, bar/restaurant, lifeguards, swim staff etc. Everyone is always smiling and so very helpful when you speak to them about anything at all. We love 45 minutes from the club and have two clubs closer but travel to you due to the superior service and facilities you offer. Thank you for everything and we will hopefully see you later today. Fantastic experience: Booked a weekend away in bristol and made use of the club. Very impressed with the spa facilities and gym floor. Done the yoga class and blaze (which isn't available in our local club), very good instructors in both classes.

Fantastic experience: More than just a gym. Health club is right. Since joining I've taken back up playing tennis and badminton which is great fun. All the facilities are really, really nice and new especially the pools indoor and out and the spa. If your massively into the gym and weights then it might not be right for you as the range of equipment isn't as vast as the more dedicated large strength gyms but for me the range of kit, the decor and vibe is great and more than adequate. Also I'm exploring the different classes and they're brilliant too. As a family we spend loads of time here, whether it's putting my son in for a class whilst we hit the gym or just to come for a family swim and then grab some food in the restaurant after. On a sunny day we can spend all day there. Staff are all friendly. It is a more expensive gym but it offers a lot. My only gripe is it gets too busy at times.

Fantastic experience: The review that was left earlier by someone who has no clue about gym spa and standards of quality isn't even an acceptable review The place is brand new and has the best garden spa and sauna facilities out of the three David Lloyds in Bristol To pay for membership is because it is brand spanking new and most gym spa is below this standard Also £30 a week is really reasonable if you are going to use the gym the spa and the garden Spending top dollar on your health with the most advanced equipment and a high standard of spa and pool is really the same price as going out for a drink on a Saturday night Which lasts a few hours and you piss it up the wall anyway Rather than having 7 days of free access to reaching a healthy goal Your health is the only wealth you have Spend time and money to get it right and find which one suits your pocket and needs
