Fantastic experience: This place is lovely since it's recent renovation and reopening. The pools are beautiful and the booking a ticket system means that the pools never get too overcrowded. The whole place has a nice vibe to it at the added bonus of a Costa coffee shop on site

Fantastic experience: Great facility, gym is superb with a varied weights section, cardio, circuit and stretch area. Optimal use of space in my opinion. Health suite is a must after a workout and find the facility clean in my time of going for now almost a year.

Fantastic experience: First visit since major refurbishment and wow! What a fabulous job they've made of it. Lovely new, well fitted out facilities, friendly, helpful staff, easy parking...what's not to like!

Fantastic experience: I visited Costa Cafe last Saturday and would like to mention lady called Sandra that works there. She is very professional, friendly and hard working and fast cleaning all tables when it got busy. This Costa needs to employ more people like her!

Fantastic experience: Modern varied sports complex with Costa, much easier if you know the following.... 1) You must create an online account to book. 2) the parking is free if you register within 20 minutes of arrival on the touch screen in reception. 3) the lockers require your own padlock (reception lent me one) or £1 for clip and climb. 4) EV charging requires the bp app. The new facility is really good and has a friendly, open feel. Clip and climb rightly very popular.

Fantastic experience: I have been swimming here most days since mid August '21. The lane swimming is as well organised as it could be with wide enough slow and medium lanes and the two faster lanes a bit narrow but great for swimmers doing the crawl. Once you understand the booking process it is fairly simple and easy to book and check in on arrival. I personally have found the staff to be amazing, really friendly and happy to help. The management team have done a great job with the early teething problems and things are settling now people are getting used to all the systems. Top tip ask to be informed by email, if a space becomes available in a session that is fully booked as there is usually someone who ducks out before the session starts. (Note you need to be quick after receiving the email)

Fantastic experience: I would definitely give the clip and climb a 5 star rating! We held my grand daughter’s 7th birthday party here yesterday. It was amazing!. The staff were friendly fun professional and respectful towards adults and children alike. I have no complaints at all.. Thank you so much they all had such a good time, I would thoroughly recommend this experience

Fantastic experience: Love the centre its fabulous and miles better than anything locally, the pool is spaciuous and bright and changing rooms very comfortable. Did a Group cycle class and that was great fun and the studio is spectacular! Well done to all the staff involved in opening the site during the pandemic which cant have been easy you've done a fab job! thank you i'll be coming back for more! As for the prior reviewers moaning some people really need to get a grip you dont realise how luckly you are to have a centre like this really petty comments and appreciate what the wonderful staff are going through and be a little patient! rant over :)

Fantastic experience: Great place. With the advance booking and on app/phone check in it means I can park up and be changed and in the pool within 5 minutes. No queuing, no faff. Normally pretty clean and seems well run and organised.

Fantastic experience: Small wait in the queue to get in but was met and helped by the super welcoming John. How refreshing to see someone so passionate and enthusiastic. It made the wait worthwhile. Fantastic experience: Love the new centre! I was a previous member a few years ago and wondered why it needed knocking down but it really is so good! I’m currently up there most days, sometimes twice a day. For the comments about lack of phone line support and booking app being naff.. yes they are, but I’m hoping they’ll improve. Even when classes are fully booked, I’ve almost always managed to book a cancellation by signing up to be informed of a cancellation slot becoming free. Great that kids can be on your membership, we’ve enjoyed family swims and soft play at no extra cost, it’s fab! Yes I had teething issues with my membership etc, but they were resolved in a week or so. The staff are working really hard to get the centre up and running properly, they’re doing their best!

Fantastic experience: People are not patient, this leisure centre opened a few weeks ago now. Of course they are going to have some teething issues. The staff are not rude, the complete opposite for me. Very helpful and extremely polite. Very happy customer, my kids love it

Fantastic experience: Impressed. Went for a climbing party today, staff are all intelligent and helpful and great with the kids, nice modern decor, good atmosphere, plenty of seating, good car park, easy to register your car at the numerous terminals inside. Will def go back for other things.

Fantastic experience: Amazing new centre. Beautiful and incredibly modern facilities. Staff are very helpful even though its insanely busy with it opening just last week. The spin studio is wonderful and hot yoga looks like it will be fun. I also can't wait to try the climbing centre, it's exciting to have a new place to exercise in town.

Fantastic experience: Had a good experience for my first visit since reopening. You need to have a QR code ready on your phone which is accessible from the app or web login. The manager was very helpful in walking us through the steps of checking in and getting through the barrier to the pool. I'll be back shortly with my kids to try out the clip and climb which looks awesome.

Fantastic experience: As soon as you walk into the leisure centre, it feels very welcoming with friendly, helpful staff. The changing rooms are hygenic and very private. There are two pools on offer, the smaller teaching pool and the 25m long, max 1.75m deep main pool. Both are exceptionally clean, and watched by one or more lifeguards at a time. Very impressed.

Fantastic experience: First time back since took kids on Sunday mornings as toddlers in late 80's. This pool is brilliant. Long opening hours mean you can get a free lane to train early and late. Very much appreciated! Lovely helpful, fun staff.
