Fantastic experience: Have done a Pilates class here a few times, and really enjoyed it every time. Facilities are pretty clean, staff are friendly and the class was challenging enough for me. Pretty cheap, too.

Fantastic experience: It's been a while since I've stepped foot in here, it's been refurbished and looks amazing! So much cleaner than before. The pools are sectioned off for Lane swimming, for different abilities which is helpful.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding, very good gym and pool and staff is absolutely friendly, a guy with a beard and long hair, I think his name began with a A, anyways was really polite taking me around, he seems very passionate about his job and his attitude is very welcoming and just goes above and beyond, I’m definitely creating a membership mostly coz of the welcoming environment

Fantastic experience: Lovely swimming pool and gym. Lots of windows in gym allowing lots natural light. Beautiful leafy location in the bottom park. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great revamp with spacious, clean and bright gym and pool. Sauna doesn’t open till 8am only downside. Staff are all friendly and welcoming and great location near the tube.

Fantastic experience: Better are an absolute disaster for booking and changing swimming lessons. Their phone line is understaffed, cuts you off without warning and you can't do what you are supposed to be able to do online. BUT when I walked in here, having talked to 2 other guys first, Frances took control and ensured my previous lessons were cancelled and swapped for new ones. I was very angry when I walked in and she solved everything. Very impressed!

Fantastic experience: Totally upgraded gym experience compared to a couple of year ago. Lots of space and ventilation in the gym. Not sure about the viewing gallery for the pool, but luckily I didn't have to go there.

Fantastic experience: Highbury Better has been refurbished. Gone is the pokey little gym now the gym is huge. The pool was also rebuilt after the fire. Its been a long time waiting but worth the wait. Inside looks as impressive as Kensington better gym which also has a huge gym area. I so happy this gym is on my doorstep. Everyone and anyone local should want to go.

Fantastic experience: Facilities.are.good, cleanliness is excellent and the staff/centre have done an amazing job of managing Covid safety. I feel much safer here than I do in many restaurants or shops...from spacing to limiting numbers to continuous cleaning they are ON TOP of it. Feel sorry they will.close again during lockdown two as they are doing a great job allowing people to exercise safely.

Fantastic experience: It's so great to be able to swim here once again. Online booking was super-easy and on arrival the staff were very welcoming. They explained the Covid-secure procedures regarding timings and changing facilities - I felt safe and looked after throughout. Thank you for a great swim!

Fantastic experience: Amazing place! Free admission. Even children can gonin there. I've learnes so much about British war history through that visit that I cam say I am more interested to go back. And it wasn't only about reading the description or looking at pictures nicely framed or even seeing some old costumes and shoes - it was more about feeling the history dated for the WWI and WWII. The staff was very friendly and it was a pleasure for me to interact with. I must go again soon.

Fantastic experience: This was my regular gym 4-5 times a week until I left for a cheaper deal elsewhere. The issue is that the membership included classes, sauna, pool etc but I only wanted access to the gym only, for almost £50 per month I could no longer justify it, especially when the other Better gyms close by were offering a gym only membership. I know the highbury Better gym was refurbished but to force customers to pay the whole package was a bad move, there were so many machines free when I used to go and this must be due to others feeling the same way. Naomi was an excellent staff member and I do miss her guidance and tips.

Fantastic experience: Great pool although a bit dated and not particularly clean. Main pool length is 25 meters. Locks require a 50p coin. Lap swimming is only at certain times, it's best to check the website first. The gym is going through refurbishment.

Fantastic experience: The new gym facilities are great, with plenty of access and variety for all. And the women's changing rooms are amazing! Decent hair dryers,straighteners and roomy showers means there is no hassle getting work-ready after a morning session.

Fantastic experience: The BEST gym I have ever been to. The facilities are outstanding. Polite staff and very helpful. I would recommend this gym to anyone I know. Women only on Tuesday evenings which is perfect. So happy I joined!!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Highbury Gym for the last 20 years, even though I have several other Gyms closer to me, the reason that keeps me coming back to Highbury time and time again are the friendly staff. They always have a smile on their faces and are there to help with anything, regardless of the level of knowledge in fitness and wellbeing. A brand new centre located in the beautiful Highbury Fields with the latest in Gym technology, a great site to get your 'FIT' on.

Fantastic experience: Very well equipped gym with different workout zones. Two swimming pools, one is for babies and toddlers. Changing rooms are spacious and clean (I'm referring to the mens). The gym also has a sauna or steam room although I haven't used it myself as yet. Best time to go is early morning. After lunch and in the evening it does tend to get busy.

Fantastic experience: Management are quick at resolving problems. Near refurb is good. Gym is huge. The wetside changing rooms need an investment but I heard that is coming. Overall great location and excellent facilities.

Fantastic experience: Good gym facilities, has 2 pools, adult and child. Reasonably priced. Locker room could do with a bit of remodeling but serves its purpose for now.
