Fantastic experience: My daughter and I visited the venue for a spa day and was very impressed. The venue and grounds are beautiful and parking facilities were good. The spa receptionist was wonderful, welcoming and informative and the meal was exceptional. We particularly liked that it wasn't the typical buffet style service. We really liked the quiet room which was most conducive to relaxation, rest and napping. It is the best that we have experienced in any spa's previously attended as were the showers. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the spa and by every member of staff that we met. All were welcoming and very pleasant and the therapists were awesome especially Codie. Her massage was wonderful and her lovely amiable personality made us feel relaxed and very comfortable. It was good value for money and I would highly recommend this spa.

Fantastic experience: Went to Moor hall last night for a very Special occasion the disability ball with the ymca it was absolutely amazing staff were were so friendly and joined in the evening with all the young people with disabilities which was beautiful to see I praise them . Drinks were a good price can't wait to go again its been a while since I've been able to go out with my friends again absolutely amazing

Fantastic experience: Whilst I didn't stay overnight here, we had my late Aunts wake here. The views from the main bar overlooking the gardens were excellent. The buffet provided was excellent quality. The staff were superb and so attentive. Couldn't ask for better surroundings to say goodbye and my Aunt who often had meals and afternoon tea here would have loved the fact we all got to experience such a lovely place.

Fantastic experience: We were gifted a nights stay at Moor Hall for two with a meal and drinks for a birthday last year, so when better to use it than the first Saturday of the year! We wanted to take our son so after a quick phone call it was just £30 to upgrade to a Superior Family Suite, and no extra for dinner or breakfast. We checked in at 3 which was quick, and on seeing our son, gave him a box of chocolates. Our room was very spacious with two huge beds, so we got changed and went to the spa. We spent the next two hours in their pool which had lots of toys to enjoy. We got dressed up and went for a lovely carvery meal, and Ysabelle, Leah B, Laura and Lyndsay (who all had lovely nails!) kept us fed and happy. The only slight thing, Chinese noodles are not a great vegetarian option to go with a cavery dinner! We then spent the night by the fireplace with drinks and cards, perfect. We all slept well, and had a lovely buffet breakfast. If you're looking for a great night away, or a lovely gift to buy, go for Moor Hall, it ticks all the boxes.

Fantastic experience: Lovely experience. Easy access and plenty of parking for anybody disabled although I would advise to request easy access at time of booking. Beautiful room with 4 poster bed and immaculately clean. Views were stunning over the golf links and it was very peaceful enjoying a drink on the main veranda. Food was plentiful in the Country Kitchen Resturant which is self service but staff will go out of their way to accommodate all your needs. At the evening meal the chef insisted on helping me put the food on my plate and taking it to my table. I was very impressed. At all meals I was asked if I had any food allergys and they accommodated my dairy allergy excellently. I did not use the Spa facilities as only there for a few days but saw many people enjoying the facilities. Very enjoyable weekend and I would recommend a few days relaxation here.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely day nice and relaxing. Lovely afternoon tea. My only criticism is that you could do a wider range of sizes in the dressing gown as we're not all size 10.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible stay We booked the ansell suite, a stunning suite that was clean and tidy, upon arrival we checked in went up to the room with no problems, and then went to the oak room for a fine dining experience. The staff were incredibly professional, very polite, the food was absolutely excellent and we loved every second of our short stay. A fantastic venue

Fantastic experience: I got married at Moor Hall at the end of July and it was amazing. Would highly recommend it, to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The Charter Suite had been refurbished in the last few years and it made such a difference.... the natural colours, matched with the twinkly lights against the mirrors, made the perfect venue. I knew the photos would look amazing at any angle.... and I wasn't wrong. When I first booked I had a meeting with Jo Newman and she has been nothing but amazing throughout, as my wedding co ordinator. Unfortunately, we had to postpone 2 times due to the pandemic and we postponed a year each time. So poor Jo had to stick with me for a total of 4 years..... the constant emails and questions I had for Jo through the years didn't stop but Jo was professional and made me feel I was the only person contacting her. The communication was awesome and she amswered every question, no matter how big or small. She even responded when I was messaging her changes the evening before the wedding. When Jo wasn't available to talk to because of holidays or when she was at their sister hotel, The George, I was in contact with Kelly Dwyer. But the communication didn't change... Kelly was great with everything and would communicate back to Jo, so I wouldn't have to repeat myself. I loved how everything was included in a package, so you can look through what's included and upgrade if you wanted. This meant I didn't have to worry about any of the little details to dress the wedding and tables because it was included. The tables looked simple and elegant, which was the look I was going for. I was able to add on the donut wall and sweet cart for my evening guests too, which went down really well. Everything looked great on the day and it all went to plan. Big thanks to Michelle, as she was looking after me and the wedding on the big day. She came to see me in the morning on the day and ran through some last bits with me, seen as I made changes at 8pm the evening before. She assured me everything was in hand and my day was going to be perfect. Michelle even showed us the Charter Suite before any of the guests to ensure we were happy and it was amazing. That vision will stay with me forever. It was perfect. Michelle was great throughout the day, she was in charge of over 100 guests and made sure everyone was happy. She even kept the surprise from us about The Best Singing Waiters who made the end of dinner very enjoyable. James took over on the evening and even though the evening was a blurr to me because it went so quick. I know he was there on hand to ensure the food was sorted and the evening guests were happy. All in all it was an amazing day, everything I had dreamed of. It's the most beautiful venue inside and out and you won't be disappointed. The team at Moor Hall are amazing and make you feel valued, as the communication is great. I stayed in the bridal prep room and interconnecting room the night before with my bridesmaids.... it was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Then on the evening my stuff got transferred over to the bridal suite effortlessly, where it was decorated just as beautifully and my new husband and I were very happy. Definitely a good choice of venue for our wedding and we are already thinking of coming back for an anniversary party

Fantastic experience: Went here for afternoon tea with santa and what a lovely afternoon it was. The show was brilliant and was not what I was expecting. I thought it was just going to be santa walking around tables talking to the kids, giving out gifts but it was so much more than just that. A full on show with singing, a panto, carols. Just Brilliant. The hotel itself is beautiful and located in a lovely location away from main roads. The food was very good and fresh and catered to our needs, even gave us a box to take home anything we didn't finish. Endless top ups of tea and coffee, there was nothing I can say that is negative. Friendly staff, just a really nice place and would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed a twilight spa afternoon at Moor Hall. 4 hours in the spa including a 25 minute treatment, access to the pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and relaxation room with hot drinks included. After use of the spa our package included evening tapas which was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout and we would definitely return for another spa day here.

Fantastic experience: I went here today and had the lunch time menu. This consisted of 6 or 7 courses. Each one was truly fabulous. All the waiting staff were excellent and displayed just the right level of attentiveness. Before we sat down in the dining room a member of staff took us through the kitchen garden and then through the kitchen. Both were very impressive. After the sumptuous meal we went for a further walk around the kitchen garden. Apparently 70% of the food served in the restaurant comes from the kitchen garden. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Stayed here a few years ago, loved it. Clean rooms, lovely pool and Spa. Great food and the bar was lovely. The staff were courteous and friendly. The chap that checked us in had the most amazingly groomed moustache.

Fantastic experience: This place is so beautiful. Been a few times now, once to an event and once just to chill. The events are very reasonably priced, well organised and so much fun. Staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. Facilities are clean and of a high standard. Booked again for Peaky Blinders ball and afternoon tea with santa on Christmas eve, looking forward to seeing what the tiddlies think about it!

Fantastic experience: What a super afternoon tea for my 73 year old brother today. A table for 9 including a little tot of nearly 2 years old. Great attention, super tea and will definitely arrive back at Moor Hall again, hopefully soon. Thank you for making this a really special day as you all went the extra mile. Fantastic experience: We booked very last minute after leaving a truly awful nearby hotel after half an hour (it was just too awful to stay). The hotel was lovely, the room, the bar area, dinner and the staff were all great. Especially the lady at breakfast. We were staying the night before a conference at the Belfry and I have to stay that the Moor Hall hotel was much nicer, our room better quality (they need to sack the painter at the Belfry) and the service also much friendlier. Would be my first choice if in the area again

Fantastic experience: Great overnight stay - dinner highly recommended. Visited for my wife’s 40th birthday. Had use of the spa & treatment, evening dinner, overnight stay and breakfast. The venue is scenic and we had a walk around the grounds which was great (purpose created trail on the grounds), the room was spotless and the bed very comfy. I had paid for a birthday package so that added some bubbly In the room on arrival, chocolates on a plate with a message on, a card, bottle of wine etc. which kicked our arrival off nicely. Room was super quiet too! Spa treatment enjoyable. Breakfast - spot on again and had the option of a poached egg or two which I took up and was perfectly cooked. Bar service was quick and plenty of cocktails to choose from (of which we sampled plenty!) Now - the really good part. Dinner. Sometimes you get what you pay for. The scallop starter was perfect and I have had plenty of them in the past, the pork belly main is a one I choose often at any restaurant, and I have to say this was the best port belly I have ever eaten. EVER. I turned down pudding purely as I wanted the taste of the main in my mouth for as long as possible. If you do one thing here, book yourselves in for an evening meal. Staff all very friendly and knew what they were doing and my wife has previously ran a hotel so she spots bad service and issues instantly of which there were non here. Deserved 5 star review. Prices are little expensive compared to other spa hotels, but this is a premium venue and felt in line with the experience we had. Hope to return soon.

Fantastic experience: We stayed for two night in a family room just before Easter 2022. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable beds and lovely and warm. Everything worked, not a small feat for a hotel room. The grounds were lovely, with a large golf course at the rear of the hotel. The spa was nice, decent sized pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. It never seemed overcrowded. Staff really polite and helpful, the ladies serving breakfast were a joy with our kids and gave good recommendation a for a walk through Sutton park which is close by. The hotel had an Easter walk in the sunken gardens which was beautifully lit up at night.We ate at the hotel for breakfast and dinner - breakfast was great, good choice of hot/ cold options, we had dinner in the garden kitchen which was a carvery with a couple of other options- top quality and amazing Yorkshire puddings! Really good value stay for 4 with breakfast and dinner

Fantastic experience: Me and my mum came here today for after noon tea. I couldn’t be happier with the service I was provided. My mum has IBS and so they catered for her with no problem. Fantastic experience: Just home from a lovely overnight / 2 full days spent in your Spa. With my pre teen daughter and elderly Mum. Fantastic experience: Absolutely outstanding stay. The hotel is not modern but well kept, clean and tidy. It has a traditional country house feel. The common areas are nicely presented in wood. The breakfast is spot on and the coffee is actually amazing unlike the dishwater most places serve. 3 course carvery for about £20 during the week do whats not to like. However the best thing about the place are the staff, truly friendly helpful and dedicated. Whilst staying I observed them dealing with a difficult customer who was frankly an up herself cow out to abuse some young person. They remained polite and professional. The serving staff at breakfast were attentive, polite and had a great sense of humour. It was a work trip but if I was looking to stay on my own coin I would absolutely book this hotel. Everything right about hospitality was demonstrated by the team here.

Fantastic experience: We had a lovely stay here. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with nothing too much trouble even though staff were extremely busy. Reception staff very friendly helpful.

Positive experience: Mostly lovely and helpful staff. Food was good. Accommodation was varied. Our room wasn't the best and the walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbours clearly. The other half of our party had very nice rooms and extras that we didn't. The spa was compact and when several families were using the facilities at the same time it became over crowded very quickly. There was a slight smell of I am not sure what. Some staff at the spa were very helpful and others less so.

Positive experience: Lovely place. Absolutely loved our 1st visit, so decided to return, sadley our second visit wasn't as good. Firstly evening meal was booked for 17:30. My wife called on several occasions to try and push the timings to the right by 1 hour. We was told this could not happen due to the restaurant been fully booked. When we finished our meal approx 1.5 hours later. it was evident that we could have easily been fitted in for a later timing. Secondly the TV in our room was not working, try to call the reception several times to have no answer. This was reported, was told it was fixed but then later TV stopped working again. Thirdly I asked reception for a pair of the white slippers you need for the swimming pool area. I was told I would have a pair brought down to me at the pool, unfortunately this never happened. And finally the bed was terrible, possibly the most uncomfortable bed ever slept in. However saying all of that I can honestly say the staff are all very kind and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I attended a Christmas Party night with my gym group. We really enjoyed our evening. The room was beautifully decorated. The three course meal was nice and we all enjoyed the dancing. The glass of processo and the voucher for 50% off a meal in January /February was well received. The tables were spaced out and the room held a nice number of people without feeling crowded. We'll done Moorhall.

Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, spacious clean rooms and good spa and leisure facilities. I booked a room for my girlfriends birthday and the staff put a birthday balloon, a piece of cheesecake with "happy birthday" written in chocolate on a plate and a bottle of prosecco on ice for when we arrived. We used the spa facilities which were clean and tidy and my girlfriend had a massage which she said was the best massage she'd ever had. Good location with access to Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic experience: We had dinner in the Country Kitchen. Great carvery choice. Excellent friendly service and nice cosy atmosphere. We love this family run hotel. Christmas Party night booked. Looking forward to it. It's not an easy time for the hospitality industry. We wish them well.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous hotel. Attended a wedding there. Staff were fabulous and never stopped. All ran like clockwork. Special thanks to duty manager Michelle, who looked after me when I unfortunately fell ill during the day. She was wonderful and couldn't do enough to help. Fantastic experience: Stopped here a few times now and always have an excellent stay. Had a room in the charter suite again with my daughter, WiFi was a bit iffy in our room this time as a lot of channels couldn’t connect due to signal but didn’t stop us from extending our stay by another 3 days. Breakfast was fab and Karen in country kitchen was welcoming as ever and a great host. Spa was brilliant, lovely pool etc and clean changing rooms. Hopefully be back again in October, wish we had the money to stay forever ❤️

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff in every area throughout the hotel . Nothing was too much trouble and they all had a sunny disposition. Lovely hotel, the pool, sauna , jacuzzi, steamroom were spotless. Made to feel welcome as part of the hotel family. Stayed two nights, dinner, bed and breakfast, food was lovely.
