Fantastic experience: Great place to take the kids for some fun. We’ve been to most ice skating rinks around Brum and although this one is a bit out of the way it’s worth it overall I think. The set up of the rink area and the the pathway that goes around the building is a nice change compared to traditional skating rinks. The cafes were clean as was the entire building. Parking is easy and a flat £2.50 rate for more than 30 min. I had a problem paying on the website but the staff at the front desk found the booking in their system and I was able to pay there.

Fantastic experience: Had a group private lesson with an instructor, I can't speak more highly of him. He gave us the induction and then we hit the slope, as absolute beginners we were worried but he eased our mind and got us going. Unfortunately I took a fall and hurt my back, the instructor handled it perfectly though. He protected the space around me allowing me time to get up, he sat me down and kept checking on me while doing his best to continue the lesson for the rest of our group. He even offered to see if I could get my money back because it happened on my first descent (I told him this wouldn't be necessary). Top notch service all round, the rest of the group loved the experience and he has ignited within them the want to try and learn more. No doubt we'll be back! I think his name was Andy, in any case, thanks for looking after me mate!

Fantastic experience: Booked a day course for two. Really well organised and Louie is a very good teacher. Super happy to have come for the day and even happier with my level of skiing after.

Fantastic experience: Great place with swimming, climbing, skiing, sledging, tubing, tobogganing, skating under one roof. We had two hours of ice skating and 90 minutes of swimming (flume and floats) for £20. Cafe and two restaurants on site. Very good value with loads to do.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy going here for the open practice sessions. Wish it had a longer slope. People having lessons seem to do well. It can get a bit congested at the bottom

Fantastic experience: Had a private skiing lesson for our family of 4 ahead of our first family skiing holiday. Ryan, our instructor was professional, positive and able to flex between coaching 2 children and one adult who are complete beginners and one adult who skied several years ago

Fantastic experience: My son comes to the Snowdome weekly for a kayaking session in the swimming pool with Tamworth Canoe Club. We are consistently impressed by the Snowdome including the parking facilities, the friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, and the excellent leisure opportunities on the site, including a restaurant which we have not yet tried. The pool area is very well presented with tiered seating, and we regularly see a well attended aqua aerobics class in progress. The ski slope is always buzzing and had a great atmosphere. There is also a fun climbing wall, but it is never in use when we come. This centre is a huge asset to the town.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely ace, come here snowboarding all the time, it doesn't mean I'm any good, I just like it. Staff are always super friendly and willing to help if you have any questions. Obviously will be be coming back

Fantastic experience: Real snow, was great fun on the slides, snow was even falling. Santa's show was great fun too, little ones will love the animals. Then write a letter to Santa and post it in the talking postbox.

Fantastic experience: This place is good for lovers of winter sports, and who love swimming to have some slide too. This time we tried the snow fun place, it's smaller than I thought, but great fun all age.

Fantastic experience: A great place to practice skiing and the snow feels as real as you would get on a mountain. I especially recommend coming in the summer months when it’s a cool and fun escape from the heat outside, but even at peak winter capacity you’ll still have fun!

Fantastic experience: Amazing Santa Winter Wonderland adventure. Everything was really good organized. One way system. Take care you are starting with snow zone for first 30 min, so is really important to not be late, after are Santa theatre, after animals and carousel room. We did not know that we can not choose the rooms for ourselves. Otherwise was great. See you next year.

Fantastic experience: Visited for Winter Wonderland and had a great time with our 3 yr old. Sledging, great performance with santa, animals and carousel. Looking forward to using more of the facilities their over the next year.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Havung only spent £15.25 for all 6 of us for casual swim we was there for over hour and a half instead of the 60mins.. accidentally as the children were having sooo much fun and gaining more and more confidence in their learning to swim! Lovely people and staff! Couldn't praise enough the only downfall was not finding this place first when we arrived in Tamworth for thomas land as we ventured out to Wolverhampton gym and leisure centre which was a total let down mainly because they don't act on bad behaviour from grown men and woman! But we loved this all

Fantastic experience: Really good for a day of activity. Did the Level 1 ski lesson which was thoroughly enjoyable. Equipment hire is included in the price, do heed the notice about wearing warm waterproof clothes. Food in the Aspen bar is nice and good views of the main slope. The place is well recommended and good value for money!

Fantastic experience: Came today on my own to try snowboarding for the first time, staff were really helpful. Adam especially was easygoing and encouraging and overall made sure i had a great experience. Definitely be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Decided to see what starting from scratch with snowboarding would be like...a positive learning experience in a group of 4. The teaching was great and 2hrs about the right time. I had only been to the main area once, so it was good to discover that the beginners have a separate( smaller, shallower) slope with a little rope which may be used to ascend.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic place. Came here for the first time. We went snowboarding. Really good value for money I felt. Cheap car parking too. They have ice skating, swimming and indoor climbing also. What a fantastic place to take the kids.

Fantastic experience: I went to snowdome twice at Christmas time when they do their special Christmas winterwonderland. It's amazing and a lovely place to take children. You will be able to go on the snow with sledges, watch a Christmas show, visit Santa's animals (reindeer, bunnies...) and make a letter to Santa The decoration at Christmas is fantastic and you will be able to take home some beautiful photos.

Fantastic experience: We were there on a quiet day and it was great. Oldest child had a lesson with an instructor called Gareth who was very good. Had a lovely lunch in Aspen Bar and Restaurant. I can't say what it might be like at a busier time but it seemed really well run so I suspect it would still be very good.

Fantastic experience: Had a one to one lesson today with Mike. I have skiied before...but not alot and on last ski trip broke a rib so very anxious . He was amazing, very calm . He encouraged me and actually got me doing more than I expected . I have had a brilliant day. Worth every penny. Can not wait to return . If you can possibly afford a one to one do it.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyed the fast track 1 session I had for Snowboarding! The instructers were a pleasure to be around and taught us the basics such as forward, backward and directional control on the snowboard down a hill. (Wear water proof trousers, waterproof gloves and any jacket, boots are provided)

Fantastic experience: Did the all day ski lesson and had a lot of fun, first time skiing and I learnt how to do snow ploughs, down hill slowly and move left to right. The trainer Micheal was patient and included a lot of positive reinforcement. Great time and fantastic trainer, recommend going especially if you want to learn on real snow.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. It's well worth keeping an eye out for the many deals they have on as you can often get a good discount. On this occasion I was doing a Fast Track 1 snowboard lesson. 3 hours of awesomeness The instructors are superb, Matt in this case was our snowboard instructor and had the whole group doing solo runs by the end of the session. There is a learning slope that is in the picture and then the main slope where you can go once you know what you are doing. Also at the dome is a mass of kids activities to have a go at (snow tubing, ice skating, climbing etc) and restaurants. You could easily make a day of it. Nearby is a large lake if you fancy some fresh air and their is plenty of parking which is £2ish. Tip 1: Make sure you have 20p for the lockers! It's non refundable. Tip 2: If you are on the slope it gets really warm really quickly. Don't out too many layers on. Tip 3: Take a bottle of water for a lesson.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely can't fault the place. Every single member of the staff is superbly helpful, polite and friendly. Wear something very warm, even for spectating, because there's a viewing balcony for better photos and videos, but it's extremely cold...obviously :-) The ski instructor was extremely patient and very supportive and encouraging . It has a lovely café area serving hot/cold drinks and food, with waitress service. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been looking for a venue where parents and children can learn to climb together. This is the perfect place for me and my daughter to learn climbing. The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to help us! There was also ice skating, swimming pool and skiing, lots of fun for everyone. Car park is free for the first 30 minutes then £2.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience, total noob, Barney was such a calm and patient instructor. By the end of level 1 I could go down backwards and forwards, so much more than I thought I could achieve. Great experience all round, thank you

Fantastic experience: A large centre with many activities. Water slide and pool. Ski slope. Seperate small toboggan and ice skate area. Small tree top climbing. Large diner area which has main meals arounnd £10 - £13. Little tired around the edges but this does not detract from the overall experience. Great family half day out

Fantastic experience: Did the learn to ski in a day course. Great value. Mike is an experienced instructor and gave personal attention to everyone. Progressed really quickly. From complete beginners, we were doing the full slope before lunchtime. A lot of fun and has given me a solid foundation⛷

Fantastic experience: Closest I've got to snow in two years... Haven't forgotten how to snowboard thankfully. I've had lessons here before and can highly recommend them. Went early in the week rather than the weekend or during school holidays so could play around on the slope much more as it was quieter. The Aspen bar is good for a pit stop to refresh if you're there for a while too. Keep an eye out for end of season sales as well in the Ellis Brigham and TSA shop too.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoy our time here, my boy (4 years old) did the (45min) introduction lesson to skiing, which he enjoyed. Instructor was great with the kids and patient. My wife and niece done their 1st ever ski lesson (2hr) which they enjoyed. I managed to get 2hr ski pass and another 2hr pass the next day why my niece did the wall climbing, to get a snowboarding fix in. I took my own gear. I would do again but took 2-3 mins to get to the top and 20sec to get down. Think this place is a great to learn before you get up in the real powder.

Fantastic experience: We went climbing yesterday. My son is afraid of heights, but staff was fantastic, they went above and beyond to help him and he loved it! He had a great time and we will definitely go back. Thank you so much, Niko was thrilled!

Fantastic experience: Amazing fun day out for all the kids and even the adults too. We went for a birthday trip for the Snow fun park where there was a giant snow slide, snow area and mini snow slide and house. We had to arrive earlier than the booked slot to prepare, but also the venue was packed full, you needed the extra time for parking too. Parking is a couple of £s. The snow park was amazing, lots of fun to be had in 30 mins. We all had a great time on the slide and would highly recommend and would come back again. At the snow dome, there was also ice skating, swimming pool, skiing and rock climbing, lots of fun for everyone.

Positive experience: I have a subscription to the gym and honestly it's okay and the range of equipment is plentiful. Marked down 1 star because: A. It's not cheap B. It's always warm, needs more A/C and an overhaul of the existing system C. The ceiling tiles and general appearance looks tired. Could do with a lick of paint and a bit of TLC. All specific to the gym area.

Positive experience: The skating ring was great! We went around noon and things were a bit slow to start. I wish the rental skates were a bit more comfortable, but the rentals were free so... Ice was really well maintained and staff was very helpful. Would recommend, especially if you bring your own skates!

Fantastic experience: We had such a good time here, we come nearly every Christmas but this year was our first in the winter wonderland and it didn’t disappoint, it had everything we could hope for to keep the kids entertained. Sleds, toboggans, ice skating, a Santa show, petting zoo and lots of food options! Will absolutely be coming next year!

Fantastic experience: I booked the ski in a day course and I had such a great time! Mike and Adam were our instructors and they were honestly so amazing. They were so informative and supportive, not once were you made to feel like you’re being a pain. So encouraging and definitely helped my confidence as I did have a few falls which knocked me but their kindness and helpfulness really did make me want to try again. Thank you so much and I can’t wait to come again and improve even more.

Fantastic experience: We love this place and visit quite often. Tobogganing is awesome! They go fast! With queuing and getting back up to the top of the slope time in between you get about 6 ish goes down the slope. The climbing is perfect for all ages really, and plenty of time for each child or adult to have a go at whichever climb wall they want to do. The swimming pools (1 main pool & 1 baby pool) are well maintained and clean, although the changing rooms and showers are a bit basic. Always nice to finish whichever activity with a Starbucks afterwards. Both the Starbucks and the restaurant have plenty of seating and views over the slopes or the snow play area.

Fantastic experience: We had a 3 hour beginner's ski lesson this morning with an instructor called Tom on the academy slopes. All our skis, boots and helmets were included in cost, we just needed 20p for a locker. Oh and you also have to pay £2 for the car park. The lady on the front desk was really nice and helpful, answering all my questions. Our ski instructor Tom was brilliant He was totally professional, highly safety conscious, helped everyone in the group throughout and, the cherry on the cake, was a right laugh too. My partner and 9 yr old daughter were a bit reluctant to try skiing but left asking when we're returning to complete the next course so we can get on the slopes. We highly recommend, had a great time and big thanks to Tom!

Fantastic experience: Our new favourite place! So much to do, so worth planning a 2 day trip (handy Holiday Inn Express right next door). We did the Fast-track 1 skiing lessons today, with Miles, and we all came away very happy. As expected my husband and children took to it straight away, sadly I didn't. Miles was a fantastic instructor, patient and knowledgeable, I just didn't have the confidence to move to a higher level. There is a climbing wall, swimming pool, tobogganing slope, ice skating course/rink and a seperate huge slope. The restaurant was not overly expensive and decent food for the prices. We luckily managed to get quite a hefty discount on the lessons because I signed up to emails and immediately booked when I recieved an email regarding their re-opening after COVID lockdown discount. Planning to come again for skiing Fast Track 2, swimming and whatever else we can fit in. Cleaning and social distancing in place, snoods provided for lessons and 20p needed for lockers.

Fantastic experience: Great place to visit with kids. Attended toboggan and snow fun sessions. Tobogganing might be dangerous.at the end of the slope. I saw several occasions when someone couldn't stop their toboggan and crashed into other toboggans or into people. Looked quite painful. There are lockers available, but they are 25 p per use. Meaning, you have to pay every time, you close it. I was lucky to have a couple of coins.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant Winter Sports indoor activity center based right in the heart of Tamworth and within easy access of Town Center! You can do everything from Skiing, Snowboarding and Sledging to having Snowball fights and even go swimming if you so wish! Absolutely fantastic family day out for all ages!

Fantastic experience: This is one of our Christmas traditions - a day of activities and fun at Snowdome. Everyone is always looking forward to it. It's really a day filled with excitement. We start with a skating session, followed by a nice lunch at the Aspen restaurant, a great snow play after lunch, a Xmas panto, Santa's village full of animals, with an evening tobogganing session to finish off the day. A real treat for the whole family!
