We offer Personal Training for One to One or in groups, a variety of group exercise classes suitable for all levels of fitness, yoga, Hiit classes, boxing, running club, weekend bootcamp, soft tissue massage and regular workshops and events.

Whether you are looking to increase your general fitness, work on strength training or fat loss, exercise by yourself in Personal Training sessions, or take part in group exercise classes we will help you find the right type of training to help you reach your goal.

Wherever you are starting from, our trainers care about supporting you through your journey and our reputation has been built on achieving real results.

At Rock, we have the flexibility to tailor your workout to your goals. With access to outside training space, separate areas for personal training and group exercises classes, there is never a queue for equipment.   We are always evolving to meet the needs of our clients to ensure they get the best experience with us possible.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, we have had to continuously evolve to meet the Government guidelines on dealing with Covid-19, and as a result what we are able to offer changes depending on the number of people we are allowed to have in sessions.

All of our current classes are run within the strict number guidelines, and we have adapted our gym to provide private training pods for PT as well as having exclusive access to a large outdoor training ground and our outdoor yard area.  There is no sharing of equipment and thorough cleaning takes place between classes and clients – You can rest assured that you can train safely with us at Rock.

Very knowledgeable and welcoming PTs. Classes unbelievably enjoyable and lots of support during the classes from trainers and attendees!!! Best gym ever!!! That’s why it’s not just a gym!

Fantastic experience: Excellent PT session with the team at 'Rock'. I have to say Kayleigh is fantastic! Structured training sessions with lots of variety of exercises. Extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness. If you want to feel great about not being able to lift your arms after a 'superset' Kayleigh is the PT for you! Fantastic experience: If you are looking for more than just a gym with a friendly, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere then Rock is the place to be! I have been training with Lisa since I first moved to Hertfordshire in February 2016 and whilst the gym has expanded and grown, Lisa and the team still value each and every one of their clients. All of the trainers are knowledgeable and professional. They offer progressions and regressions of all exercises to cater to all abilities and focus on both the physical and mental benefits to exercising and good nutrition. 5 stars

Fantastic experience: Rock is such a unique place. They say they’re not just a gym and it’s true. PT and online nutritional coaching with Lisa and Jacqui have helped me to lose (and so far keep off) almost 4 stone, but most importantly I’ve learnt to enjoy exercise, understand the benefits of clean eating and see how both together can achieve more than I ever thought possible. All of the team at Rock are second to none in their knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm and there is something on offer for everyone. I tell everyone I meet about Rock - go try them out!

Fantastic experience: Myself and 2 teenage daughters have just finished 8 week’s of PT with Gayle. Our aim for the sessions were one daughter was recovering from and ACL injury and needed physio and myself and other daughter wanted to lose our COVID isolation weight and get fit. This whole experience changed us as a family. Not only are we all fitter and thinner my daughters now know how to cook healthy nutritious meals. We still attend classes together and enjoy the free running club. It been a total lifestyle change. Thank you Rock!

She is knowledgeable and she gives you the tools to change your shape. Her sessions have left me feeling stronger, leaner and I also feel taller. Fantastic experience: After having my second baby I was waking in the night with hip pain and back pain. It was awful but I just got on with it as you do when you’re busy and struggling for time. I saw a testimonial on Facebook from someone who had worked with trainers at Rock and she was now pain free! I signed up to a course of PT with Dean and have never looked back since. I’ve learnt about mobility, movement and diet. This gym isn’t just a ‘turn up and do your class’ type of place. You learn push yourself and to enjoy the exercise that you’re doing whilst having a laugh along the way. Every Rock trainer is completely lovely and really dedicated in helping you achieve your goal. The lengths that Lisa and her team have gone to to ensure we can train Covid safe is remarkable. I found the communication and encouragement throughout lockdown a godsend to keep us all motivated-and sane! I’ve just finished a group PT course with Jacqui and she trains you hard! Great results and a good reminder that hard work pays off. Can not speak highly enough of these wonderful people or the place! 5 shiny stars!!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Gayle personal training class at Rock since January and her running club (before and after lockdown) on each class I am working off 350 calories I've had a few pre-existing injuries that Gayle has helped me with to strengthen my weak areas which in turn has made me physical stronger. I highly recommend Gayle classes they do set you for the day and will put a spring in your step.

Fantastic experience: When I started at Rock with PT training with Lisa I was stuck in a rut, over weight, unfit and had little confidence to be seen exercising! Slowly Lisa helped me grow stronger and introduced me to classes and then two sessions of Rock your body group classes; I am now a dedicated fan and member of Rock working with Dean, Jacqui, Gayle and now Connah in the various challenging but fun classes that are available! All the team are welcoming and brilliant at what they do with no judgement, good banter and encouragement! I do not hesitate to recommend them all
