Positive experience: once found a bloody pad in the showers..i personally dont use the gym as i only use the sauna and the pool, the pool is fab but is quite small and hard too swim in beetween the many people in the swimming pool, theirs also often kid lessons going on.but other thn that its great, the sunbeds used to be a pound now a pound a fifty pence the prices are slowly creeping up after the sunbed price has gone up i have not gotten one as you can get 4 mins for a pound at a normal sunbed shop. other than that its great.

Fantastic experience: I used to love the place about 2 years ago but since then the monthly price has dropped and so has the quality of the gym. The staff are still as lovely as ever and it's definitely not their fault but the upkeep of the place is shocking. In the men's changing rooms the towel drier is missing, half of the lockers won't close or are just broken and have been for years now, there's always at least one broken shower and the whole place just looks run down. When the price of the gym was 45 quid I really thought it was great value for money, everything was like new and I was going around 5 times a week. Now it's 18 quid and you can't get moved in the place, no one speaks English and it's used as a bath for 50% of the members. I hate to see the place like this and really thinking about leaving. We don't mind paying more if the upkeep is better, all the equipment works and you can get changed without having to learn 11 different languages. Update It's back to its best, love the place.

Fantastic experience: Been going to Gymetc for the last 7 months now, and have felt at ease coming and going every week. Staff gave me a brief induction around the building after I asked, which was a big help. There are a variety of machines for different workouts, a large room with yoga mats, mirrors, and weights, a blackout room with cardio machines, a room dedicated to free weights, a swimming pool, a sauna, and room for spin classes. Main majority of other gym goers are mindful and respectful of one another, and wipe down machines after use. The gym is mixed, and there's always a few people to say hi to after going a few times which helps you feel welcome. Price is great, membership was easy to sign up to, the app for gaining access is very reliable, and the facilities are very modern. Always recommend this gym to others in the area as it is also readily accessible with lots of parking.

Positive experience: Really love going to this pool, I have MS and its great for me. The only thing I would complain about is while I was swimming today it was being cleaned!!! It would make more sense to do this while the place is closed. The smell of detergent was really strong.

Positive experience: The staff are nice and the pool area is great, even having a few different types of steam rooms. But that said, it's otherwise pretty limited where it matters most. The gym itself feels tiny, there's little equipment, leading to long waits to use machines there's only one of, this isn't just a one off either, as this happened almost every time I went. They do have a large number of treadmills, but honestly I would say half that amount to make more space for other machines. Also the changing rooms aren't great, feels quite dated having a big open communal changing area. Some people don't mind that of course, but those who do haven't got a choice, even the changing booths have no doors so it's kinda pointless. If you want a simple workout then yeah this place is probably fine for you, and the after-workout pool area is a great way to cool off. But for me the lack of equipment and privacy make it hard to match other local gyms.

Positive experience: Modern gym. Lots of parking. Has plenty of cardio machines (don't think I've ever had to queue). Various resistance machines and a good free weights area. Pool is nice and has a sauna, steam room and fire and ice room. Men's changing rooms are often a mess and showers could be better.

Fantastic experience: Very good staff, haven't been to a gym in almost 20 years and the young lad Nathan who works there not only gave me a free pass to try the place out, he coached me on the basics after a full tour. There's all the equipment you need and after a work out you can take a couple of laps in the pool and finish off in the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room or the fire and ice room. Full member now, cheers guys great service

Fantastic experience: this is a great gym so so good to me for work and home the only criticism I do have is that it is no longer open at 6 em. Instead it opens at 6:30 which for me is too late as I start work at 8 and would not get sufficient enough exercise for my own personal benefit full stop it would be good if they could take it back to 6 a.m. opening again.
