Fantastic experience: Excellent gym full of all necessary facilities. It contains industrial air-con systems to help keep you cool during your exercises, especially on these hot, humid and sticky days.

Fantastic experience: Excellent clean facilities, welcoming staff and atmosphere. Was pleasantly surprised with all the changes as it has been many years since I had been.

Fantastic experience: Just joined the centre only for the pool. Found it very hard to swim as children bomb jumping in the pool basically on top of you..lifeguards not paying attention, or just don't care. Nowhere to actually swim. Was really disappointed, but will persevere!!!

Fantastic experience: It's a nice place for Sunday swimming and relaxing place. There is also SPA so not bad. However there was little issue as I cut my finger on my foot under the water on sharp tile. At the reception I had a plaster so it was OK

Fantastic experience: I came for the first time and the staff were excellent and helpful. I paid less for my Aqua Zumba class than I do at the Marina and the car parking is free here. The changing room is unisex but there were no issues with that, plenty of lockers and cubicles. The pool was warm and clean and I hope to return again soon.

Fantastic experience: I regularly use swimming and sauna options. This pool is excellent. I disagree with other reviewers. The water temperature is spot on for swimming - possibly even a degree or two too warm if anything. The time table balance between public and school classes is intelligent and close to ideal. The sauna is pristine. Staff are consistently helpful and attentive. I have 2 minor criticisms: the rap / hiphop music (Radio 1 ilk) played over the pa seems inappropriate - there are explicit reference to sex while children are changing; after a sauna, a really cold shower is required to close skin pores - the shower is not cold enough!

Fantastic experience: My favourite swimming pool, nice and simple, no slide, no waves. There's a sauna and steam room as well and kids aren't allowed in. Pretty decent gym, nice equipment, can be a tad crowded though.

Fantastic experience: Good facilities and modern space, but the real winning trait is the staff attitude and welcoming atmosphere. The Gym membership here really makes sense for me as I swim regularly with my 3yr old, but once you can justify the cost, it's the added value of classes and peronal training sessions that really sells it.

Fantastic experience: Had a week near Great Yarmouth and found this great pool the staff are helpful and the pool immaculate.I only wish it was nearer to lincolnshire. Going to book another holiday in September and will be straight back to the pool. Thanks for a lovely enjoyable swim.

Fantastic experience: There are many different areas for fitness, whether its the pool or the gym, in the gym there are many machines or free weights that you can use to get what you want out of them and even if you don't know how to use them the friendly and devoted staff will help you on your way. One of them is Jordon who is a fun guy making jokes while making your program, Jordan also helps you even when he is walking past, making sure you are doing it correct and making it a fun place that you want to return to.

Fantastic experience: Modern, organized and helpful staff! Gym equipment is excellent as they count reps and also have a rest period timer and there's a variety to choose from. Defo would recommend signing up for membership.

Fantastic experience: Nice local clean pool changing rooms are nice and clean but mixed which some might not like too much. There's a few individual showers and three open ones all of them are clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: What a great place! My son and I went for the family session where the pool was full of different kinds of floats and an inflatable. The pool was sectioned off into 3 areas which was a great idea. (My little boy has just learnt to swim so I didn't want him going too deep.) The lifeguards made sure that everyone was safe and did a marvellous job. The pool was lovely and warm so obviously any problems with heating has been fixed. The changing facilities were clean and there were lots of places to get changed. We had a wonderful time and thought it was really good value for money! Ignore the negative reviews and go have some fun!

Fantastic experience: The Pool was very cold ok for Olympic swimmers but now within the last two week the Poll has heated up to a nice temperature which means more people will be coming. The Pool is small but ok for a small swim to keep fit there is also a Spa with Sauna and Steam room for members only. You also under membership have the full use of a gym I find it a bit to cold in there especially if you are under air-conditioning unit. there are plenty of equipment to use during the day time don't know what it like a night. You also have the use as a member to do many studio exercise courses all through the day what ever you fancy. Also we had a Opening ceremony on 25th October 2016 Paralympic Jessica Jane Applegate M.B.E officially opened the Phoenix Swimming and Fitness centre as you can see in my photos.
