I have always been a keen sportswoman, running for school, university, charity events, Race-for-Life and European marathons. I’ve coached gymnastics, specialised in disabled trampolining, now my focus is to help many become “Fit for Their Lives” – whether by training to run a Marathon for the 1st time, enjoy Park-runs, improve core fitness or flexibility, pass an employment fitness test, or simply move without getting out of breath!

I push myself to the limit and love challenges. My passion is climbing / hiking up Mountains. I have been to Everest Base camp twice and climbed Kilimanjaro. Exercise gives everyone a natural high, and the buzz can become addictive – as my clients often tell me how they now ‘love’ working out.

I’m forever learning about the human body, what it ‘can’ do. I don’t like words “Can’t”or “Pain”, although this doesn’t mean that I won’t push to the limit.

I’m passionate at helping people, especially those living in pain or with flexibility limitations. Their achievements, their successes, this fuels my dedication! Let me help you be “Fit for your Life”…

Fantastic experience: I have attended Jane Butcher’s pilates classes many times over the last 10 years or so. She is a really good instructor, very thorough in her explanations and her classes are easy to follow. She is friendly and approachable and I always enjoy her pilates classes.

Fantastic experience: She has a strong background in multiples disciplines, always positive, encouraging and friendly. She has pushed me hard every week and has given me so much confidence in what my body is capable of can not recommend highly enough! I have enjoy every minute of training with her

Fantastic experience: Jane’s Pilates classes were always we’ll attended, her professional yet friendly and gentle approach was well explained and she always was available to give you advice, and alternative moves if you were in need of extra help. She is always looking to improve and gain knowledge for herself which she was very willing to pass on to her class. I would highly recommend working with Jane.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality I've attended Jane's classes for years and they've been great. Also had personal training for a year where I became so much fitter, lost weight and managed to run my first 10k, I loved that she tailored sessions to me, what I enjoyed and what I wanted to achieve. I honestly can't recommend Janes classes and personal training enough!

Fantastic experience: I had already done some pilates before joining Jane. These are the best classes I have been to, excellent value, punctual & a full hour. She is doing a great job with al the technology keeping us going online

Fantastic experience: I am a relative newcomer to Jane's friendly Pilates classes, and enjoy their calm and gentle nature, gliding smoothly from one move to the next, while working hard on strengthening, stretching and mobilising what seems like every muscle and joint in the body!! Most of the work is on the floor rather than standing, but there is minimal kneeling, which I find helpful for arthritic wrists and hands ! During Covid 19 Lockdown, I have been using Jane's enjoyable pre-recorded You Tube Pilates sessions, which are definitely helping me maintain flexibility. I would greatly recommend Jane.

Fantastic experience: I started Jane's classes after my physio suggested ; I do pilates to help my back and improve my flexibility. Jane is a great instructor , she makes you feel welcome to her classes, gives alternative exercises and levels so everyone can work at thier level. I'm hooked, after doing my first week of classes I was recruiting friends to attending the classes . I have been continuing Jane's vitual classes . These are brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Love Jane's pilates - always feel super relaxed, flexible and yet like I've had some exercise! As a not terribly fit - I love how she incorporates variations for different levels too.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing Jane’s Pilates and yoga classes on line via Zoom during the lockdown. Jane is a fantastic teacher, and manages to see what we are doing and correct positions etc. Just as good as a face to face class. Thank you Jane.

Fantastic experience: Jane is a great Instructor, nicely paced classes with one move flowing into another, peaceful setting, gentle music, hardly feels like a work out (until the next day!). Carefully crafted for all levels of flexibility. Professionally trained so I know I won’t come to any harm and if I have any problems Jane can advise me. Local venues so don’t have to get the car out. There are options for Zoom or YouTube sessions so I don’t have to miss out.
