Harrogate Hydro Swimming Pool

Fantastic experience: Take kids every week, they love it. Always clean and tidy, well staffed, reception and life guards always lovely, polite and helpful. I know its due for refurbishment soon, hope they put EV chargers in the carpark as this is its only let down currently.

Fantastic experience: Largest swimming pool I've seen in the UK, except maybe the Olympic park in London. Huge shower and toilet facilities as well with family changing rooms. Overall clean and well-priced

Positive experience: Nice pool, but water temp is way too high to train properly in and not much control of who goes in what lane. Some people here swim in the fast lane that have no business being there or even the medium lane. Lifeguards could/should control this better. Still, friendly staff and nice facility.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place with three good sized pools. Went recently for daughter's first swim and it was warm enough in the smallest pool. Decent changing facilities with lockers, showers etc and easy online booking. Will go again.

Fantastic experience: Good pool- plenty of space, early morning lane swimming is well disciplined. Friendly staff, modern and up to date facilities. Still find it hard to get my head round communal changing facilities, but it all seems to work. On site refreshment facilities which seem welcoming and a pleasant place to be. Plenty of free parking.

Fantastic experience: Sunday swims. Early start (7am). Clean pool and facilities, ample parking, and not normally too busy.

Fantastic experience: Great pool with helpful and watchful staff. Kids love being here. Excellent small lol for babies and toddlers. Bigger pool for swimming which in school holidays frequently set up with inflatable pirate ship. Diving boards too... was great to see that they ensured my kids could swim adequately before jumping and seeing the close supervision in the area. Brilliant cafe there too. Plenty of options for where to sit if not going into the pool with your kids.

Fantastic experience: It's a good place to go we have been talking our 2 Grandchildren when they have the inflatables out, they are now swimming without arm band's & Grandad goes into the pool with them, also if it is raining it gets the children out of the house

Fantastic experience: Since moving to Harrogate we have been visiting this pool with our daughter (2) and now our son. The baby pool is great, warm enough for little ones and big enough that even on a weekend it is not too crowded (avoid peak times or classes which are advertised online). Price is great and the cafe is also useful once finished.

Fantastic experience: I visited this place to have coffee with friends during a course I was attending at a nearby venue. We had great service and superb snacks. The swimming pool looked very active with toddler swimming classes. My impression was a superbly clean venue.

Fantastic experience: The hydro swimming pool is a great and din swimming pool to visit. It has the widest range of activities such as diving and fun sessions. It's also very clean and great exercise to visit.

Fantastic experience: Nice and warm. Armbands available at the side of pool for kids. Only fault I could find would be that they could do with bins and a sink in the baby change rooms.
