Located near the award winning high street of Stockton-on-Tees, Splash has a true sense of community and is a popular attraction for Stockton residents. Splash is widely used by local families but also welcomes a large community of over 55’s and a thriving student base that make the most of this fantastic facility. The modern split-level gym underwent exciting changes in November 2018. The upstairs had a complete makeover including re-decoration and a full equipment overhaul. This included an Olympic power rack and a range of cardio machines from the Technogym SKILL range. Downstairs also benefited from a new functional training area. As well as the new developments the gym is equipped with Technogym’s industry leading equipment and includes a wide range of cardio stations from the Excite® range. A collection of treadmills, rowers, steppers, spinning bikes and cross trainers all incorporate the latest digital technology and integrated TV entertainment so you can enjoy a challenging and fun workout every time. Splash is also home to a variety of Technogym’s Pure Strength range of plate-loaded equipment so you can focus on achieving your strength, size and toning goals.

Splash is accessible for disabled users and is equipped with disabled access shower and changing room. A lift provides access to the upper floor studios and our friendly health advisors can tailor a suitable exercise plan to incorporate equipment that can be quickly reconfigured to suit individual needs.

Swimming adds incredible value to an Activ8 membership and we offer a range of aqua based classes that are perfect for those training for triathlon events and looking to build stamina and endurance or those with joint pain and mobility issues. The 25m swimming pool also supports a busy timetable with sessions to suit every schedule. Start the day right with an early bird session, squeeze in a few strokes with the lunchtime swim or make the most of our adults and ladies only sessions.

All classes can be booked online for members and non-members. Hover on the class you wish to book and follow the link to the booking page. If you are a member and it is your first time booking, simply sign up for an account using your membership card number. If you are not an Activ8 member, that’s not a problem,  just follow the onscreen instructions to book and pay for your class in no time at all.
