Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of David Lloyd for many years and when I visited David Lloyd Sunderland I was blown away at the level of care and attention I received. Sometimes when you travel to a different club and ask those seemingly silly questions like where are the changing rooms you get a blank stare like staff don’t realise you could be from another club. However upon arrival at David Lloyd Sunderland the member experience manager just so happened to be in the reception area. I explained I was from Trafford and was here on a family visit. The Member experience manager actually took the time to show me round the club and asked me what I thought and how it compared to my home club. I was pleased to report that I found David Lloyd Sunderland to be a much more welcoming and customer focused club and for me had a better gym area with a more comprehensive weights section. The member experience manager told me they had just undergone a large refurb in there. I enjoyed my time here and the facilities were excellent. I shall be back.

Fantastic experience: Modern equipment with plenty of space for classes, courts and a large indoor and outdoor heated pools. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience: Joined today and spent 3 hours in gym, pool, etc. Totally impressed by size of gym and amount of equipment, 2 pools, jacuzzi, steam room etc etc. All facilities are excellent. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Am going to enjoy going there.
