PureGym Woking

Fantastic experience: Great machines and sauna/steam facilities which are never overcrowded despite the popularity of the place. Most of all, I have enjoyed the free classes (dance, water aerobics in particular run by energetic Brazilian Lia who makes it a lot of fun) Go ahead and try the ballet fit on Saturday mornings run by Max Ciccacce who's also a PT and has helped me lose nearly 2 stone since Xmas through a great individualised programme over the past three months. Very professional, he has used a variety of weight training, boxing, stretches, lunges and machines to improve my posture, weight and strength in upper arms and thighs. He's just great with a wonderful quirky sense of humour. I have been a loyal member for more than 18 months and highly recommend it...Sarah Couling, the in-house nutritionist is amazing, the dietary advice, botanical supplements she prescribes have got me full of energy while losing the weight...sensible, calm and no fad dieting is the key. Way to go guys, and thanks!!!

Fantastic experience: Staff are really good, friendly, postive . cleaning is very proactive we need a few bits replaced like clips for cable machines and pullies bring back the rope. And let's get a Trx correctly hanging from the ceiling or a decent frame.

Fantastic experience: I've been very impressed with PureGym Epsom, which I usually go to, however this Woking branch has a large, open space that has ample equipment, and even during busy hours you don't feel too cramped or rushed. Good on these chaps.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Limited bike machines given the need to keep distance from others. Plenty of space for weight lifting and spacious studio rooms which are empty late in the evening.

Positive experience: The pure gym is excellent! Various modern equipment on which you can do any type of training. Free parking but at the back closes at 10pm, and if you forget to take it off, it will stay there, because after it's locked there are no employees to open it, and once I forgot and had to pay 100 pounds, ????????????, but other than that, it's excellent gym.

Fantastic experience: This gym gets very busy but after visiting most of the gyms in Woking its the best one. Most value for money and most equipment. Plus lots of classes and lots of stretching areas and spaces. Only drawback is its location. Its about a 15/20 minute walk from the centre.

Fantastic experience: After being a member of many gyms I find this gym to be very welcoming the staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the rates of membership are reasonable, with a multitude of classes to attend and personal training, a relaxed atmosphere that is non judgemental, this gym is for anyone trying to improve their health.

Fantastic experience: Great place, allows you to attend a gym without needing to talk to people. Showers are good and large changing rooms. Good range of equipment to suit all needs. Inductions are very useful and the staff member who did mine was helpful and targeted it to my medical conditions. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Most of the negative reviews seem to relate to the LA Fitness at this location and other Puregyms. Whilst not 24h(yet?) there is a huge selection of classes and up to date machines. Can't fault the staff either

Fantastic experience: I pay £23.99 a month which is half of the price any other local gyms in the woking area. They don't have a swimming pool so i've got no idea what gym the other reviewers are talking about THERE IS NO SWIMMING POOL. anyway it's great value for money and has nice friendly staff. There is no 1 year contract locking you in, if you dont like it you can give one month notice and quit, the gym equipment is well up to date, and the people are all very friendly, i'm now almost daily going to the gym, which is better than i've ever donne before at any other gym. Anyway try it for £23.99 you can't go wrong!!!
