Fantastic experience: Recently joined Dare Gym once the stupid lockdown restrictions were lifted. Even though it was the first day of opening, one of the female staff took the time to show me around - great customer service. There is an app that let's you book sessions, which works well. The staff are friendly and one of the personal trainers took 5 mins between clients to show me how to use some equipment I hadn't used before - kudos. Monthly price over a year contract is very reasonable and the gym is in a fantastic old church building. Excellent all around - so recommend

Positive experience: Receptionist is just lovely and made me feel welcomed and at home. The gym itself is really quirky being on 3 floors and in a converted church but they've got all the equipment you need. Some of it does look a bit out dated though like the mats and weights but it gets the job done. Especially as there aren't many gyms in the area (I came from Merthyr) They had a new looking studio unit and do classes as part of the membership which is good. I borrowed their gloves to go on the bags. I would suggest bringing your own if you join as I don't think they're washed.

Fantastic experience: What a place - what a place! 3 floors filled with all the equipment you can think off and it's a church! That's right - a church! It takes the meaning of 'being religious about staying fit' to a next level. Great bunch of people, great place.
