Nova Prestatyn

Fantastic experience: We visited Nova for the soft play, which was fantastic. It was massive with plenty of room to play for hours, also if you decide to go on a Tuesday it’s half price (£1.95). They have a cafe which serves coast coffee and a wide range of food! The building has a swimming pool and gym also included. The whole building was spotless and really modern. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dog walking beach. Great dog friendly cafe bar serving great food with lovely staff right on the beach. More than enough for us to come back. Very enjoyable day.

Fantastic experience: Great pool, gentle slope to a max of 5ft deep in the middle, with a shallow splash pool for the little ones. Ideal for a family splash out of the heat or out of the rain.

Fantastic experience: We took our son to the soft play area today and he absolutely loved it. It was nice, clean and the staff were very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great leisure center. Gym well equipped. Pool shallow at both ends, warm and usually not to busy. Loads of classes. Great cafe with bar and non alcoholic section. Next to the beach. Cafe outside and can be busy on nice days. Short walk from town and supermarkets. Outside toilets. Loads of cheap parking.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love The Beach Hut at the Nova, Prestatyn. Its a very warm and cosy atmosphere with very great and friendly staff who are very happy to help in any way. The food is excellent. This afternoon we had a beautiful Sunday carvery I would highly recommend. They also do Costa coffee drinks and hot chocolate another bonus especially this weather. It is very clean and plenty of tables. Another bonus it is dog friendly which we love and we enjoy a walk along the promenade afterwards. All in all we love going to The Beach Hut anytime of year and so will you.

Positive experience: The gym is ok, pretty small but most of the things you need are there. Problem is it's full of teenagers taking up machines and benches whilst sat on their phones. When its busy you can't get on much as they flock around, not actually doing anything.

Fantastic experience: Since it was renovated the Nova is fantastic. Great place for kids swimming lessons and adult exercise classes, the soft play is prefect for younger kids, the Beach Hut Cafe is lovely and the staff are friendly & helpful. The evening opening hours are prefect for having a drink and snack /meal while watching the winter waves or summer sunset. Being dog friendly makes it even better. Don't forget it's the base for Prestatyn Park Run every Saturday at 9!

Fantastic experience: This place saved our holiday when we came the weather was really bad on the last few days but thanks to some friendly locals we found nova! Had a soft play and a pool .. we bought the big slush bottles and when we went back the refills were free so that was a godsend when we had 5 or 6 kids with us .. everyone was friendly and the staff allowed me to go on with the children ( I was dying to go up the lighthouse) which was unexpected.. and they had a meal at tea time that was surprisingly good quality for the price , was a great day I highly recommend to anyone with children .

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome! Only used the kids play zone and the restaurant area so can only comment on these but it's so fun to go around with your kid(s) or just watch them from the seating area. The kids area is very safe as there is a gate that only adults can use and also there is always someone sat in the desk which is situated within the play area so if you're a single parent and don't want to leave your kid on their own, rest assured they'll be fine whilst you go and get refreshments or to the bathroom!

Fantastic experience: Social distancing is really good here, so pleased have been back a few times. Waiting service and tables clean straight after people leave tables.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately still not open due to Covid 19, but a fantastic place normally to eat and the beach is amazing for familys.

Fantastic experience: Nice seating areas have been created outside overlooking the beach so you can sit and have a drink or meal or you can go inside if you want. All kept nice and clean. Costa Coffee available and cake or full meals or bar drinks.

Fantastic experience: Great place with lots to do for the little one in the softplay. Very clean, very safe and covid secure. Building is very well finished in all areas we used. Would definitely go again

Fantastic experience: Having visited a few times my experience here is always a positive one, children love the soft play area and the cafe serve lovely food and drink, my youngest had an accident the last time we went and the staff were extremely helpful and on the ball, filled out an accident form, was given an ice pack, they stayed to access him to make sure he was okay, he was totally fine but I appreciated the concern and professional action from the staff, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Staying nearby and wanted to go swimming. Is a nice little place. The place was clean and staff were polite and friendly. The pool was busy but cleared quickly after about 1hr leaving just a few of us which was nice, my youngest loved the small pool as she can touch the floor and walk around in it my eldest loved the bigger pool as he could do some lengths with his dad.

Fantastic experience: In North Wales on a mini break. Me and my husband are body builders and we always train when we go on holiday. We tried the Nova for the first time and really enjoyed it. Very clean, friendly staff and great facilities. Lewis in the gym was kind, patient and friendly. Lovely guy. Would use this centre again if in North Wales.

Fantastic experience: The new play are is amazing and a well needed indoor kids entertainment in the area. Ive booked a kids party there. Cafe was nice enough. Didnt go swimming but looked clean.

Fantastic experience: Excellent clean softplay. The apparatus was one of the best I've seen. The staff were watching kids for the parents who weren't and took one crying child to find his mother. They constantly cleaned up tables and vacuumed crumbs up using backpack hoovers. The food was also great, chef in the cafe even altered the salad to suit my diet and it was delicious. We also went swimming and kids can get a deal if using both softplay and swimming. The pool was clean, staff pulled a young girl out the deeper part who couldn't swim. The one thing which let the pool down was they could do with larger family changing rooms with change tables.

Fantastic experience: I left it the first week as knew it would be busy but booked myself an induction. Staff were fab and very friendly and helpful. Gym was great. Took my 9 yr old swimming and loved it. Showers could be a bit more powerful but overall pool was clean and we had fun! Booked a programme check in the gym a few weeks after and the lady "shell" (i think, sorry!!) Was fab .....Booked in again for 4 weeks. Only downside is when I do call it takes me a few tries before someone picks up the phone but taking that as teething probs. Staff great. Place great!! Well done!

Fantastic experience: Newly refurbished and looking good. The inside has transformed into a modern place for the local community. Gym, swimming pool and indoor play area for the kids. right next to the beach as well. Staff are very friendly and happy to help

Fantastic experience: The soft play area is amongst the very best. It's vast! And clean and in good repair. As others have said, staff are on the ball, cleaning and keeping an eye on kids.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant day out!!! Swimming pool fab, cafe good and creative activities for £1 great when you have a few children!!! Not been in climbing area yet but will try next time
