Ironworks Gym Clacton

Fantastic experience: Was visiting Clacton and trained in this gym twice over the weekend. Outstanding gym. Firstly they offer one off sessions for £5 each which is a very reasonable price. The gym is small, but the range of equipment is good to get a decent session in for either lower or upper body. The machines are quite old school (in a good way), and they have metal plates which I think is great. The best thing about this gym is how quiet it is. I trained at 8am Saturday and 9am Sunday and the gym was almost empty. Perfect to get a good quality session in. According to the staff it stays quiet throughout the day until 6pm onwards. They have a little outdoor space which is good for a few things too. Overall I highly rated this gym. Far better than any chain, an authentic gym that I was a huge fan of.

Fantastic experience: Before joining I would drive passed thinking it’s not for me and that it’s a ‘mans gym’ I couldn’t have been more wrong! Staff and members alike are really friendly and the staff are also really helpful! I happily go in on my own to work out and I’m always made to feel comfortable. I have PT sessions with Lewis who is very professional and it’s clear to see that he enjoys seeing the progress you make! The price is good too All round this is a fantastic gym with everything you need to have a good workout

Staff are always there to help, the members are all friendly and willing to help and i have also had some great personal training sessions there.It has always had such a good atmosphere along with great range of equipment for weights and cardio. I highly recommend Ironworks Gym to any beginners or more experienced!!

Fantastic experience: Looked round a few gyms in Clacton for fitness with weights as well, I was really disappointed with some of the gyms knowledge but I won't drop names, but at Ironworks I was given a induction for free and also a little program to help kick start me. A lot of time was given and advise and after my first training session in a few years I can generally say dispite what you read about being a mans only gym because this is totally wrong, there was more women than men sometimes. Hope this little review helps a few of you guys before making a mistake of joining another gym that won't help you along your way, another plus sign there is no join up fee or contract.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely hands down the best gym in the area, not matter what type of training you do iron works has it covered! All suggestions both positive and negative are taken into consideration! Great staff, great atmosphere and moat over great equipment! For me personally iron works covers everything a powerlifter needs! Deadlift platform, Strong squat rack, good bars and a solid competition bench press! Definitely head down there if you all looking to take your training to the next level!

Fantastic experience: I'm a 24 year old female, I use Ironworks gym whenever I'm in the area - which is perfect me as there was no join up fee, the option to just pay as you go and no contract. The gym offers a excellent and friendly service. It's always clean and tidy and I thoroughly enjoy training there.
