Fantastic experience: Just started swimming again after quite few years made to feel very welcome. Great set up for slow to fast lanes so no pressure to go faster. Very relaxed atmosphere Lovely friendly staff Easy app to book Lovely hot showers Very clean

Fantastic experience: The pool is pretty standard and a bit on the cooler side but the kids love it and always hard to get the out again. The swimming lessons offered have been a nice help and a good step in the right direction to get them to be confident in the water. Shower cubicles and big family changing rooms too!

Fantastic experience: Trying to get volleyball going again and the st austell team have been amazing! Its been so nice just to have people here me out and help me with wanting to get volleyball going there again. Staff have been super helpful and are pointing me in the right direction. I want to say a special thanks to a guy who i believe is called steven. He helped with a minor injury i had and there was another guy who took great care of me also:) steven also gave me ideas on how to get a club going and making things potentially happen again with volleyball. Thank you all. You all have been great ❤️

Fantastic experience: The water in the pool is at a cool but appropriate temperature. The staff are polite & the changing rooms are clean. I do Dance exercise classes here along with Pilates and core conditioning & legs bums tums, all are highly recommend & well instructed by the instructor (Jess). Joining is easy at the reception I got assistance from the lady serving. She was polite, didn't rush me & was on hand if I needed help. No complaints from me 5

Fantastic experience: Very good facility with an excellent online booking system. Well priced with a handy car park ticket scheme that is truly excellent value. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Would it be nice if the showers were a little better? Of course but it costs a fraction of the local hotel pool membership so that's a small price to pay. Happy to recommend

Fantastic experience: I personally loved this place when I lived in the area. Swimming pool was a great size with 4 lanes plus free swim and deep corner area (3M if i remember correctly). My Sunday sessions were always the best. Yoga class used to be les by a lovely lady with really soothing and calm voice making you feel relaxed. Workout gym had plenty of cardio machines but free weights and machines area was small. There is a great hall for badminton, big group classes etc. And best of all was the price for swimming, fairly cheap. I only have good memories from this place.

Fantastic experience: Good local activity centre. Do good rates for tourists. Lots of activities going on. Gym is good. No longer any squash courts which is a shame. Pool is good but small.

Fantastic experience: 1st swimming this morning for 19 weeks, tad bit nervous, but no need to be. So well organised, one way system, socially distance changing facilities, which were being cleaned, while I was there. 2 wide lanes for fast and slow swimmers. So good for my mental health, I'm buzzing. Booked again for Wednesday and Friday. Thank you so much to all the staff for all your hardwork to enable us to enjoy again.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic. So clean, and really friendly staff. Good cheap food menu with choices for kids. Much better and cleaner than other pools we've been too. Also really appreciated that there was a sectioned off shallow part for the very little ones so they could swim in peace with some fun water jets. Great looking soft play too.

Olso good mini bar, great coffee ☕, lovley sandwiches this place is just perfect not only for family oper for all. Yeh gym is good for bigginer's staff helping out too, lot's of machines, running trucks, rowing,etc... Big spacious place

Fantastic experience: We were staying near St Austell for a week, so went for the option of a week’s membership for £23, great value! Good facilities which have recently been updated, new equipment, pool with lane swimming sessions, friendly staff, long opening hours.

Fantastic experience: A big improvement from when Tempest ran the centre. The guys and girls running the centre also appear to be happier and are certainly very helpful when we need it. The whole building looks smarter, waiting area is a massive improvement and I'm looking forward to taking a look around the new gym to see if I should move from my current one.Great going all, keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: I joined Better St. Austell Leisure Centre recently to take advantage of the gym and since it has had a revamp the facilities are much improved. All new gym equipment, new lockers and showers. A great ambience with excellent people to train you on the new equipment. Everybody is so positive I look forward to my training sessions. There are a good cross section of members who have been going for ages and those who are just starting out, everybody is so friendly. If you are thinking of going to the gym this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I love that leisure centre it is mostly friendly staff and people who goes there they have health and safety around the diving pit so it has 40 cm pool for little kids for height.

Fantastic experience: One of the better leisure centres I've been in, a beginner's pool for very you'd children and a full size pool for swimmers and a very deep pool that used to be a diving pool but the boards have been taken away, it also has shared sex changing rooms, how 21st century

Fantastic experience: My First time ever using the gym facilities at Polkyth . Fantastic service sorting membership-workout . Danny the fitness instructor was brilliant. A VIP service - A full tutorial on how to use the equipment and a personal plan in place to achieve my goals . Very knowledgeable, informative & friendly . I felt really comfortable and reassured. And at no PT cost !! The positivity had made me feel more motivated . Will Highly recommend it to friends .
