Fantastic experience: Large gym with plenty equipment, currently has the most amazing staff running their classes, who are knowledgeable on the subject they are covering. The reception here is amazing the staff greet you with good morning and even tell you to have a good day when leaving, this centre definitely has the best reception staff hands down out of the 4 centres I have used.

Fantastic experience: Always clean, staff always friendly and helpful.. gym has all the equipment you could possibly need and a swimming pool which is well maintained.

Fantastic experience: I used to go every friday for my grandchildren swimming classes But with pandemic their classes were stopped for a year n again they started going but one of the parent used to take because they got on Saturday I went today after a long time It was good experience n pool was not crowded

Fantastic experience: BHLC is my second home. I love it there. The staff are warm, friendly, and helpful; the exercise classes are excellent, and the instructors are outstanding. The online booking system is efficient and easy to use. And the café is none too bad either. For me, the only downside is that there could be more classes as the existing ones fill very quickly, resulting in some members regularly being unable to book classes.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, great machines and feel very comfortable working out ac is also really nice and cool. However, I think the gym needs to reiterate people cleaning gym kit once they've used it.

Fantastic experience: .My service last night was absoultley amazing. I am going to be a new memeber to this center and the young girl who was on last night was so bubbly, friendly and approachable. Not only did she give us all the information we were after but she kept us smileing and laughing and engaged and my son loved her. But it was not just us she made time to greet and say good evening to those who said hello and waved. I'm not sure why other comments say reception dosent want to be thier but just from last night I can tell that she definetly did want to be thier. Friendly too customers already joined and new ones. Fantastic experience: I find the life guards friendly, approachable and professional. They are accommodating with regards to my disability, especially life guards Amelia and George who I wanted to mention in this review. Thank you to you both. Also I like the allocated swim sessions and lanes which I think should continue.

Fantastic experience: Great pool. Life guards always attentive especially when there's more people in the lanes then there should be. Lost my membership card but Rachel at the reception was really helpful and helped replace it.

Fantastic experience: We have been using becontree for our daughters swimming lessons for 5 years now with Abbie who is a brilliant teacher, we were devastated that swimming had to close for so long during the pandemic! Since the reopening we have been very impressed with the organisation, safety measures and friendliness of the staff. We are now enjoying family swims which is even better than before as its bookable in advance and not overcrowded so perfect for my little boy too. The reception team are always happy to help and are friendly too - shout out to Rachel and Mary for their assistance today with rescheduling a booking. 100% recommended!

Positive experience: My year's membership paid that was unused I'm going to HO policy check once the leisure centre is safe to attend again. Missing my exercise class; elderberries is for the social fitness mindset. Enjoyable and a routine run by Jason enables mixed abilities all adult ages to be included for beneficial movement. I was surprised by the starting point of circuits for warm up but they were brilliant for enabling catch up conversations among the late arrivals without disturbing noise. All of the exercises flowed without any break but there was no competition and level of fitness bar. A gym session afterwards; exercise bike, rowing machine and tread mill. Followed by an aerobics or water aerobics session and swim completes a keep fit routine day. The set up is sociable and enjoyable. Reception staff work hard. Life guards are bored but approachable. My pet hate here is the newish lap pool which is so narrow it only allows 2 people using it at a time. What was the point of all that upheaval for so little benefit? And we even lost a car park and a passenger accessible bus terminus forever. Shocking waste of money. Especially the newish communal changing room/lockers: squalid. Stop reducing the space for public adult use to half a length when kids are in it. They should stick to the kids pool.

Fantastic experience: There's a kiddie pool which is lovely and warm with a lifeguard constantly on watch. The big pool has a sliding floor to enable water depth change which is used for Aqua Aerobics and teaching kiddies to swim and much more. There's a gym and weights room as well as different exercise classes, something to suit all. There is also a soft play area and a café, parking is free too

Fantastic experience: My one year old had plently of fun at Jolly Jungle. One of the smaller soft play areas but still plenty to do. The one lady at the counter was very approachable and seemed to be calmly multitasking. Nice atmosphere. Will be revisiting.

Fantastic experience: Very nice place for all family. We use swimming pool regularly. Kids attend swimming lessons and I do leisure swimming. I used to attend swimming fit classes and it was fantastic. Very good teachers. I am glad that kids attending swimming lessons can do leisure swimming for free. Its only annoying that when you do line swimming people who are not good swimmers take fast lane blocking it and staff doesn't do anything with it. There is a nice cafe and Jolly Jungle perfect for younger children. Reception staff friendly and helpful. I have never used gym but it looks nice and well equipped. Very spacious car park
