Yate Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: Very good place. Good sized pool, well stocked gym with people who know what they're talking about when it comes to helping you obtain a programme that fits. Even with the presence of a second gym nearby I have not felt any need to leave this place.

Fantastic experience: Friday Roller Disco at 6.15-7.45pm was fun. Easy to find, free parking. Well run roller disco for kids and adults with skate hire, over 4 badminton courts, plenty of chairs, lockers if needed, nice stewards, a few games and good cheesy disco music. Next to Minor Injuries Unit if it all goes pear-shaped but all the skaters were considerate/well-behaved.

Fantastic experience: What to say about a leisure centre. I go to class to get fit and I come away tired and sweaty, job done. Just wish they could sort the booking system out as the amount of times I struggled to get a place on a class only to find if half empty

Fantastic experience: Very Very modern and has access to all gym and swimming equipments, staff are very helpful and will always help you.

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old granddaughter has swimming lessons here. They are very well run and the teacher is very approachable. There was a water aerobics class going on which was also interesting. There are many other activities available and all is clean and well maintained.

Fantastic experience: Took my 5 year old swimming. Impressed with the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the facilities and temperature of the main pool. Main pool is smaller than others but this meant that it was just right for my sonto come to the deep end with me to jump and dive in. There is a training / children's pool but we didn't use it.

Fantastic experience: Just been to the gym. Not been enough to form a complete opinion, but it seems to have a large variety of equipment, good facilities and helpful staff. Worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Gym facilities (air conditioned) plus swimming facilities and also available for private hire. The upstairs cafe is pretty good too

Fantastic experience: The Pool is the cleanest I've been in, in our region. The use of Blue overshoes in the changing rooms is a good/hygienic ideal as I do not want to step in other people's 'mess' from the streets after a swim. The Gym is very well equipped including a 'WattBike' which is useful for gauging fitness levels. The staff in the gym are very helpful and enthusiastic.
