Fantastic experience: Went to Autism and Disability Session. It was relatively quiet but I enjoyed a good swim. The changing rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and the pool is excellent. Update Aug '22 Have been to both the gym and Aqua Aerobics recently. The gym is amazing with plenty of exercise equipment and a lovely cool room. The Aqua lessons are great fun with Lucy in the Leisure Pool. The changing rooms for both gym and pool are well maintained and staff are friendly. It's such a pity that there aren't more classes held here as in other Leisure Centres as Pond's Forge is such an amazing facility and we should be able to feel proud of it again.

Fantastic experience: Attended here as a visitor. Booked via the online system, was welcomed at the reception desk where you can pay £2 deposit for the smart lockers (competition pool changing rooms) Changing rooms were clean with plenty of large lockers. Pool was great, lifeguards were friendly and even other swim coaches as I didn’t know my way around. Will 100% be back.

Fantastic experience: The lane swimming is great here, especially when they make the lanes 50m instead of 25m. Everything is clean and very tidy. The staff are very polite and nice ... It would be slightly better if there were more private changing booths as not everyone is comfortable undressing in communal spaces.. but there are some. There is a £2 deposit on wristband

Fantastic experience: Attend here 2-3 times a year for National Swimming Champs and the staff are always helpful and they do a top job keeping the centre clean during busy periods.

Fantastic experience: Great place! What an experience going here. Certainly geared up for competitions. Spacey foyer, refreshments and shop - not over priced either. Easy to get to via car, as well sign posted and lots of parking and hotels next to it. Central Sheffield too.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilities and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Recommend 100%. The gentleman on reception downstairs didn't hesitate to jump up from the desk and take me upstairs to show me how to use the car park machine. Well done ponds forge.

Fantastic experience: Great place for sports and events. With a 50m pools and a diving pit it makes it perfect for Olympic Training. There is also a gym and leisure pool with tide waves, floats and a slide.

Fantastic experience: What a facility! The biggest pool I've ever seen. Great viewing facilities, good café. Apart from the slightly obscured entrance and lack of signage if coming from the qpark, there's nothing not to like.

Fantastic experience: Recently attended aqua aerobics with a lovely group. Cuban and Jamaican vibes with the music, combined with lush warm waters. The only thing missing was the mocktails

I have a 12 year old who swims like a fish and a 2.5 year old who we've just recently started taking swimming, due to the age gap we struggle to keep them both happy but coming her catered for them both and we all had a great time! Toddler pool is lovely !

Fantastic experience: Superb sporting facility in the centre of Sheffield. Includes 50m 10 lane olympic sized swimming pool, diving pool, leisure pool, and large hall. Parking underneath, close to train and bus stations and hotels nearby.

Fantastic experience: Best gym by far love that theres a sauna in the changing rooms. Great pool love swimming while watching the diving.

Positive experience: Spend many hours in here at Sheffield Diving. Good coffee and plenty of seating. Would certainly be a 5 star venue but they've shortened free parking to 10 minutes which is impossible when picking kids up from clubs. We go there 3 times a week.

Fantastic experience: Despite the leisure industry boom and having left SIV a few times over the years to try other gyms the SIV group is still the best for membership value from swimimg, gyms, sauna, steam room, golf, Access to EiS and all its amazing facilities with its indoor track boxing gym this by far is the best gym all the clases for adults and kids 5 star

Fantastic experience: The Sheffield Sharks game was great in a this modern bright sports venue. There's good parking close by and good facilities inside.

Positive experience: We went there for a graduation ceremony. The building/facilities were perfect for the occasion. 400 graduates plus their families were very well catered for. A very nice setup for such a memorable occasion.

Positive experience: I'd been here before and was pleased and relieved to be able to find not just a free table, when all other eateries were booked months previously due to it being 'graduation day' at Sheffield Uni. but v quickly a table large enough to accommodate us all, mortar-boards, gowns and all. The menu, which always changes/improves had something for all tastes. Beer sales are down while cocktails are more popular but with Ruddles @ 99p a pint it all went down very well. ✔

Fantastic experience: I returned for 50 metre lane swimming on 26 September 2019. I first came here in 2010 when Tom Daley competed at the British Diving Championships and the FINA Diving World Series in 2011. The only issue I have with the pool is the Speedo swimming flags because I wear Adidas. It still gets 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: A great venue to swim. Feels very safe with covid precautions. Just wish the lane swimming sessions were a bit longer.

Fantastic experience: Swim here regularly. In this post covid time the swimming is covid safe and time limited sessions (45 minutes) booked on line. Staff give clear directions and keep the areas sanitised in between sessions.

Fantastic experience: The gym is very good, lots of equipment and friendly staff. The kids pool is closed until January, however the lanes are still open. Monday - Thursday for 25 metre pool. Friday - Sunday for 50 metre pool.

Fantastic experience: great gym - love the fitness unlimited membership! changing rooms and equipment always clean and well maintained, and there’s a sauna/steam room in each changing room! trainers are all lovely, i’d never joined a gym before and they have all been so kind and helpful!

Fantastic experience: We went in the family pool. It was good fun, a couple of flumes, a toddler splash pool and a lazy river with floats to grab hold of. Changing rooms were clean and warm although a couple of non- working showers slowed down the getting changed and out of there

Fantastic experience: What a great venue the most breathtakingly beautiful sport in the world. The facilities is in emaculate condition and a pleasure to use. The water was crystal clear for the duration of the underwater hockey world championships

Fantastic experience: Great place for sports. Staff downstairs near pools are incredibly friendly and helpful. My kids swim there and though the water is a bit colder than other pools, the teacher is ace. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing 50m pool. Fantastic seating. With normal spectator seats and seats for those who have work to do, with table tops and each seat has a PowerPoint too. Nice cafe, loads of seats. Beautiful building, not easy to locate though.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant facility, I have the gym and swim membership and have enjoyed using all the facilities. Always clean and everyone seems very friendly. Nice cafe with plenty of place to sit. Wide range of classes which I am tempted to try out. Would certainly recommend to a friend. Only minor issue and not really the gyms fault, but a few women tend to use the sauna in the changing rooms as a place to dry clothing. There has been several times (and it seems to be getting worse) when there have been numerous items of clothing drying all over the sauna and nowhere to sit and nobody else in it. Seems quite selfish and is off putting.

Fantastic experience: I was here for a works conference! There is an Olympic size pool, fun pool, wave machine and toddler pool. There is a dive pool, gym, trampolines etc. The conferencing facilities are great with lots of break out space. The lunch was a good selection of nibbles and sandwiches, tea, coffee and water was available all day.

Fantastic experience: I've been here several times to watch my daughter swimming in the nationals. The facilities are fantastic, far better than a tithing she has at her local club. She really enjoys coming here.

Fantastic experience: Not a gym person myself but i come here with family to go swimming. The rates are good and the pool is amazing. Lane swimming operates for most of the day unless there are competitions on. The leisure pool is a great place for young kids with the wave pool, lazy river and 2 fun slides. The staff are always on hand and happy to help

Fantastic experience: Whether you want to get in shape with swimming, weight lifting and other activities, battle the waves of the pool, slide down the lengthy slides, or want to chill out in their lazy river, lazy sounds bad...um...slowly loosing weight river, Ponds Forge is the place! Fitted with so the main pool+a secondary, a gym many rooms for activities like trampoline-so that I have no discovered all it has to offer. That will keep you active and burin' those pounds, while exercising you might here a rumble in your belly, time to stop to the cafe or if your determined to get on there are vending machines. *HONEST, THIS ISN'T PAID FOR XD*
