Positive experience: Nice place and friendly atmosphere. Rules enforcement is needed, many customers stay one one machine forever on their phones, I think someone from the gym should told them to release the machine for others.

Fantastic experience: I was very wary for my first 'dip' back into the gym but this was nice and easy. Very helpful staff. 2 and a half hours free parking makes it very good for 'city centre'

Fantastic experience: Placed in a good location and not crowded that much. There are plenty of machines for each exercises so usually you don't need to wait in a queue.

Fantastic experience: The Gym Sheffield is a great gym for students as it's only about a 10 minute walk from the Diamond building. The gym itself is also very big and spacious. The student plan I've used which is £109 for 9 months is a great deal and for the price, the equipment and space you get is amazing value for money. The gym has plenty of free weights as well as machines for whatever you're planning to do, although to be fair I'm not a hardcore bodybuilder or something so if you are then that might not be the case for you but chances are if you're a big bodybuilder you're probably gonna go to a special gym anyway. There's also a lot of space for core workouts on mats and to do cardio, as well as a lot of lockers so you'll always have a space to store your stuff. Although, a lot of the lockers in the men's changing room don't work. The staff are also very friendly and helped me find my ring when I misplaced it at the gym so I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. Its pretty no frills in that there's no pool, sauna or cafe so you're not paying for any of that if, like me, you wouldn't use it anyway. There's enough cardio equipment that you won't ever have to wait for something to be free and its only the very popular weight machines like leg press and lat pull down that I ever have to wait for when its busy. There's plenty of steps and bosu balls and things to play with as well as free weights and muscle-building equipment split between two matted areas where you can use weights, do bodyweight movements or stretches. Although I haven't tried any of the classes, there's plenty to choose from and its easy to book onto them from the website or app, as well as the induction and managing your account. It's probably the lowest cost gym I've found and I love that its 24 hours so I can get a workout in no matter what, plus there's no contract to the membership. I cancelled my membership easily when I was pregnant and rejoined with the same account and entry PIN etc now I'm ready to start exercising again.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with lots of equipment and decent prices although it can get a bit busy around 6 I just wish they do a overhaul on the treadmills they are all a bit old and sometimes stop without any notice
