Fantastic experience: Great venue with so many different aspects. Gym, swimming pool, tennis, badminton, running, cycling and the list goes on. Indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. Perfect venue for all your needs. Also has many other activities hosted on the grounds such as music events, Christmas events, Race for life etc. Would recommend to anyone to explore the possibilities.

Fantastic experience: This place is really well organised. Went to watch a match on the 3D , cafe was well stocked and ladies toilet although at first a little hard to find was clean and tidy. Pity home fans were a little too vocal with their language but it was mens match so understandable so no offence was taken by the small number of ladies present.

Positive experience: Swimming places are limited and have to be booked. This means there was plenty of space at the time I went. With very little passing, either in the same or opposite direction made it very enjoyable. Looking forward to the changing room showers being available.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with the size and cleaningness of activities the staff were very pleasant and informative the swimming pool and diving pool are very impressive I was there to watch and find out about the scuba diving I will be returning very shortly

Fantastic experience: I have heard about the previous reputation of this place! But I was presently surprised when I went for a swim with my grandchild the other day. A member of staff named Sam assisted me in explaining the way the ‘new system’ worked and was extremely polite! Will be returning back to your delightful establishment

Fantastic experience: Swimming pools (50m shallow one and the square deep one is with the diving tower), gym, tennis and badminton courts (former ones in and outside), as well as organised group physical activities with trainers make it a great sports centre. Plenty of lessons for children (trampoline, acrobatics, team ball sports). Additionally "ultimate" level Southend borough activity pass holder (circa £40pppm) can use its all facilities as well as any other sport centres in the town.

Fantastic experience: Garons Park is having a enormous upgrade from the gym equipment to the swimming pool. It's like they are trying to make something VERY good exceptionally good. This place provides disabled access even into the swimming pool and Olympic Gold medallists such as Tom Daley has been spotted diving there.
