Mas Body Gym

Fantastic experience: I joined Mas body gym over a year ago now, I was really nervous on my first day as I didnt know anyone and choose this gym purely as I heard so much about the owners helping people in times of need which I thought was really lovely so I decided it was here I’d rather sign up In a hope it would be a nice place to train and get my fitness up… fast forward a year I’m still here and my hopes all became a reality and then some! I really couldn’t recommend this place enough, the owners the staff and members are so lovely, friendly and encouraging, I feel really valued as a member and I’ve made so many friendships it’s just been a really lovely experience that I’d like to share and to say if you want to come to a gym where your made welcome, where your not just a number but your name is remembered, to a place filled with all different age groups, all shapes and sizes and all fitness levels then Mas body is the place to be. I can promise you it will be the best decision you make x

Fantastic experience: I used to train at Mas Body Gym, the only reason I stopped is because I moved back home and as someone who trains 5-6 times week, the cost of travel would’ve been too much to get to and from the gym. I’ve went to a couple of other gyms since and can make a fair unbiased comparison. The team who work at the gym are some of the most friendly and polite people I have met in this industry. They don’t hold judgment, they are always on hand to help and I never felt embarrassed asking how to operate a machine or asking for dietary advice as when I started I was an absolute novice when it came to exercise. Unlike other gyms I’ve been to (which I won’t name as I don’t wish to slate others) where staff members aren’t present, are irritated when they’re asked questions and really have no sense of customer service. The sense of community in this gym is also fantastic. I made friends in this gym who I still chat to online, who offer encouragement and advice, and vice versa. People of all shapes and sizes go to this gym, nobody is ever looked down upon, nobody is ever treated as less than for their body size or fitness level, support is given to everyone not only from staff but between members. Again, this sense of community isn’t something I haven’t found as easily at other gyms. I’ll only ever speak from my own experience, and I will only ever recommend something if I truly believe in it. This gym is well equipped and fantastic for people who’ve never stepped foot in a gym, or on the other end, have been training for 10+ years. There really is something for everyone, and it is a place where everyone can feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I joined Mas body gym a couple off month after they opened as most gyms I’d been too were big national ones and honestly didn’t know my name after been going there for years, two weeks in all the staff at MAS knew my name were always polite and really couldn’t do enough for you 8 years later still there no complaints at all the equipment is constantly been upgraded and I have always been treat like I’m friend rather then a member especially by my Mike the owner. Can honestly say this gym is brilliant have made loads of mates here and never regret going.

Fantastic experience: Mike has inspired me to get fit and lose weight. I follow him on FB because he gives advice and inspiration by video. I live to far away to go to his gym but at £25 it is a bargain as the results speak for their selves. Our local council gym is £37 and they do not have the facilities or personal help that Mike's gym offers.

Fantastic experience: I love this place and all its welcoming staff and members. £25 per month gives me supported fitness, various classes which push me. it gives me self belief,better self worth and a love for myself that's hasn't been there for a long time. I needed help to find myself and take time out from a hectic life, but I needed it to be supported and surrounded by like others. I love the feeling I get when I've had a tough day at work and I walk in this gym and someone smiles, gives me the thumbs up or acknowledges I'm there. even when I'm.not there I can ask questions online and receive a manageable answer from a member of the team. If you live nearby and are considering a gym, come and have a try here! you'll love it.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic friendly gym with excellent staff , great well maintained equipment and their own macro based diner . I’d be a member if I was local but I’m more than happy to make the 100 mile journey to see Mike and his team once or twice a year.

Fantastic experience: I think this gym is fantastic I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for 25 pounds a month witch is cheap as you can use the gym as many times as you like there's no joining fee like there is in other gyms this gym is fantastic and it's really friendly staff who go out of there way to help you the gym members they are friendly to they have helped me to if I'm stuck with anything I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else to be honest it's made me feel like I'm family when I come di don't feel out of place either xx

He as the latest equipment and offers lots and lots of classes . Membership is a bargain per year at £125 and it doesnt end there , his gymn is a one stop body shop , exercise , tuition and help right through to nutrition in the form of his award winning diner . You have tried the rest , now try the best . This guy will help you get the best results . Hes a Boro legend.

Fantastic experience: Spotlessly clean, brilliant equipment. Very friendly and non intimidating gym. As a relatively new gym goer I was initially worried and self conscious about being able to fit in. The staff and other gym users are only too happy to help out with advice or hints and the banter is fab. My only regret is not joining sooner!

Positive experience: This gym is great, if a little small. They have everything you need to get an awesome workout from tyre flipping and sledge pulling to your regular resistance machines and free weights section. The staff are all great and friendly and will help if asked.

Fantastic experience: Loving the Bootcamp classes, working really hard and seeing results. Great bunch of people just getting on with it. I have had wobbly legs twice now, can't beat that feeling as you know you have done something right.
