Fantastic experience: At first, I had several issues with this Gym. I felt dissatisfied and underwhelmed. However, the moment I voiced these concerns, I had an email from the gym manager asking how to resolve my issues, and within a couple of emails everything was completely sorted out. If you're looking for a gym that cares for its clients, I'd recommend this one.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic classes. I love the spin classes that are taken with i believe his name is tom. He is really funny ( the signing) and bossy but in a good way! All of his classes are great actually feel like you leave like you have really achieved something.

Positive experience: Massive gym with absolutely loads of equipment. Possibly a bit too big for myself as it gets incredibly busy and even with all the equipment you can find it hard to find what you want. Staff seem friendly and it's very reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: I was initially hesitant about joining PureGym, thinking it was just another run of the mill, big box gym, but I was totally wrong! It has completely surpassed all my expectations and I'm very happy here. Everyone is so supportive, friendly and welcoming! The happy, energetic staff go out of their way to help you and the classes are some of the best I have ever done. I actually look forward to them they are so much fun! (There's loads of variety too so you don't get bored - boxing, yoga, kettlebells, circuits and more!). There are plenty of squat racks, freeweights, and cardio equipment, the gym is always clean, and I love the functional area. I have made huge leaps in fitness with my PT here as well (Tomasz Kuchna). I cannot recommend this gym highly enough - they truly care about their members. Join now - you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: It is a really good gym but I just use it for the classes. The variety is good and they offer good times especially straight after work. Most instructors are fantastic and help you to push yourself - making it a great workout, however, I do feel that they need to review a couple of the instructors of the classes. There are a couple that let it down sadly due to the lack of enthusiasm to instruct a full class leaving myself unchallenged and thinking mm what was the point of doing that and I have since avoided the classes that they teach unless I am desperate to squeeze a last minuet Friday workout. Not a note personally to Plymouth Gym but the messenger system is very poor and you find yourself waiting days for a response.

Fantastic experience: It's a great gym, although I haven't been to other gyms so I can't compare. There is plenty of equipment which is great if you come at quiet times, but it can get a bit crowded around peak times, which I'm sure is true for most gyms. My only major issue would be that the air can get a little stuffy, especially when running on the treadmills. The place is essentially one giant room, so the ventilation doesn't feel as sufficient as it could be. Another slight issue is that the weights can be a bit of a mess, making it difficult to find what I need. Either they are left somewhere where they shouldn't be, or someone hasn't put them back on the correct rack. I understand it's entirely the fault of the other people using the gym, but I think staff should ensure that equipment is returned to its appropriate location. Maybe new members should be given a mandatory tour, so that they can better understand where the correct locations are, I know I would have found this very helpful when I first started. One last issue I have is the music that gets played when classes are taking place, it's very loud. I feel discouraged from attending classes because I cannot hear the instructor. I no longer have any interest in taking classes, but maybe there are other's who feel the same way as me who would like to take classes. Despite these issues I've listed, it has overall been a great experience for me. The staff have been friendly, and equipment is often available during quiet times.

Fantastic experience: I've never been and I don't even know where it is. In fact I don't even know how or why I'm on this page but getting fit sounds like a great idea if only I could be a***d and I'm sure this place is just fine and worth the fee so get off your behinds and give it ago asap!

Fantastic experience: Clean, easy to use gym where there are plenty of classes for loads of things available. There's enough machines and equipment to go around, when it's busy it's busy but every gym is like that at peak times. Changing rooms are always tidy and the staff are friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Just started at this gym, there are people of all ages and i haven't once felt intimidated, good range of equipment, gym staff around to help with any questions you may have, very clean and spacious, like all gyms they have there busy times, showers and hairdrying facility's, like the idea of 24/7 opening and being able to park free.

Fantastic experience: Great 24hr basic gym, it does get a bit busy at times but you can check their website to see how many people are using the gym and go down when it's a bit quieter. Clean and reasonably well equipped for the small monthly price. Loads of free/cheap classes aswell.

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean gym, good choice of machines. Vending machines have lots of diffrent stock. The gym dose get busy at times but i think its fab you can check online and see how meny people are in the gym.
