The winners of the best Team Cup went to West Ham Boys Club of East London who had an outstanding weekend showing excellence in depth with all of their boxers. It was a close ran race with West Ham's team Captain Frank Wood winning his boit to make sure the cup went back to London with them.

Winner of the best boxer in the 09 year category went to Tyler Loveridge of Pinewood Starr BC. Tyler impressed the judges and officials with his extreme skill set and talent and is definately one to watch as his career progresses. With the great team he has around him the future is extremely bright for this young man.

Noah is an outstanding talent and caught the judges eyes with his clever boxing to win the belt. Noah is definately one to watch as his career blossoms. He has a great team around him in the Sporting Ring of Camberely and this will push him on to further greatness.

Frankie impressed the judges with his skill set from his first bout of the tournament. He has an excellent style about him which will carry him all the way and this is just the beggining of his burgeoning career. With the great team he has around him at West Ham, be sure to see him on the national stage.

Leighton Birchall fresh off of winning the English national championship and also winning the boxer of that tournament also won the the best boxer of his year group here in a stacked division of talent like all of the others. Leighton will go on to be one of the best boxers this country has produced and really impressed the judges with his all round skill set. He has a great team around him with Sharpstyle so keep your eyes out for him.

Connor Mitchell wins the belt for the best boxer in his year group seen here with his proud younger brother, and yet again is an exceptional talent to keep your eyes on. An extremely dedicated boxer like all of these winning the belts he caught the judges and officals eyes with his balance and poise and the future is very bright for this young man.With the team aroun him at West Ham and his famous father Kevin Mitchell guiding him be sure again to see him on the national stage.

Nelson Birchall wins the best youth boxer belt with three outstanding bouts and his final one being of such a high skill level. Nelson caught the judges eyes with his awarness and mature mindset in the ring. Like younger brother Leighton seen here with him, he lives for the sport. Again with his great family and team at Sharpstyle  around him he is one to watch out for, his future is the brightest!!

As a club we are always on the road giving our boxers the opportunities to grow as athletes and people. Experience and memories to draw off help create confidence and stability. We are never cant be bothered, we are always going the extra miles to make sure our members get the best.

We stayed in Redbridge overnight after sparring at Hoddeston. We caught the tube into London city centre in the evening to show the boxers around a bit of our capital, which they loved. In the morning we headed to our friends at West Ham Boys Club, we have been there a good few times before. The sparring again was top draw with all the boxers getting rakes of hard quality rounds in. The boxers learnt plenty from this weekend and we hope to be back up again soon. A huge thank you to everyone at West Ham its always appreciated and see you all soon.

As always we were out on the road again looking to keep our boxers actively engaged, and here we went to the famous Repton BC in Bethnal Green in London. All the boxers got great rounds in and the depth of talent Repton have is unreal. A great day was had and all the boxers involved learnt so much. After the sparring we went with Repton coach Chris, down to Brick Lane for a salt beef bagel and the buzz in the city was great for our boxers to see and feel. A huge thank you to Chris and everyone at Repton it really was a great day,

We went to Torfaen Warriors in Wales on Sunday Morning and took up 5 of our boxers, we would have had more but Charlie had boxed in the York Hall on Saturday and Liam was away. This was top quality work for everyone and they all got the rounds in. The learning never stops and we are getting ready for the box cup.

A huge well done to December's Samuels solicitors boxer of the month Reece Windsor, seen here with coach Nathan Aldous. Reece is continually improving and is consistent with his training and doesnt duck any of it. You cant pick and choose in boxing if you want to succeed, an area you dodge will haunt you under the lights where it matters most. Reece keeps up with the sparring and has had his knocks, which is all part of the process but has stuck with it, and overcome all the obstacles that have come his way to really progress. Reece we are really impressed with you and you really deserve this belt.

Speaking with Camberely ABC they mentioned they were going to Hoddeston for sparring on the 8th of January. I said that sounds good and so it was organised with Sab at Hoddeston for us to go up. We took up a good size team which all got great solid rounds in, and having been to the Bear Cage before you know the quality of the opposition will be first class. Its essential we keep our boxers active when they arent competing as they stay mentally sharp and switched on. A huge thank you to Sab and everyone at Hoddeston for the great day its so appreciated.

Loves his boxing and is always there, got told off a few times when he boxed for doing the Ali shuffle. Loves a laugh and keeps the boxers laughing, and in great spirits. Ginger often comes fresh from work, walking plaster all over the gym which he blames on someone else. A great member for our team!

Nick, is boxing mad he loves it, and had a very good career, but hand damage caused him to have to stop prematurely. He loves his coaching and brings a lot to the team. With a keen eye for movement and distancing Nick is a valuable member of our team.

Vikki is uber keen and loves seeing our boxers develop. An ex K1 fighter and kick boxer Vikki brings great understanding to our team. Extremely positive, and knows how to pick them up when they are down. Vikki also runs K1 Mariners from our club on a Sunday.

Dee is boxing mad he's also a road hog with me on a lot of our trips putting in miles and miles with the boxers. Learning all the time and taking to it like a duck to water we are so pleased to have him on board.

Lee lives for combat sports, a world of knowledge which he gives to all our boxers, always so well explained. Lee understands different styles for different boxers and again is a huge credit to our club. Lee runs Barnstaple Combat Sports from our gym.

Stunt man by day, boxing coach at night. Nathan has not long had his qualification and he has been all over the country with me already. Keen as they come and continually learning a great team member and coach.

Peachy loves the club, and having boxed for us really knows our values, a very  hard worker who is great on the pads, he really pushes our boxers and they love it!!

Brook has been with us from day one and helped build the club. He is an extremely talented boxer and i believe can go very far, he helps out with the coaching and has a natural ability to inspire our boxers another huge asset to our team!!!

Steve has not long passed his qualification, and has great way with him getting the most out of our young boxers. A great sense of humour gets them listening and he has a great eye for detail. A great member of our growing team.

We have a large well equipped gym and three rings when needed. If you would like to get away with your club to give your boxers a change, we are on the Atlantic Coast and have some of the best beaches in the country on our doorstep. Exmoor and its steep valleys are very very close too. We often take our boxers running in these areas and the sand dunes at Braunton are the largest in the country, and the sessions there are notorious. We can sort discounted accommodation and it would be a pleasure to host you, get in touch if you are interested and we will be happy to help.

After a big team effort to clear out and clean our premises, we needed to build a ring in the space we had. Nick Luxton and Brook Hawkins built it totally from scratch to fit in the space we had.

We needed to hang our bags up but not inhibit our floor space which would lessen our technical areas. So we decided on a scaffold sub frame suspended from the roof. Advanced Scaffolding kindly donated the scaffold, and spreader beams. Coach Kevin Taylor his son Jack, and volunteers from advanced scaffolding built it. Its the business  and we were now ready to hang the bags.

While all this was going on our boxers still needed to train, so Simon Haywood our running coach kept taking our boxers out on training sessions on the roads. It kept them motivated and keen

The flooring of our premises was very uneven and dangerous, so we decided to raise the money to get it screed. With the kind help from Fullabrook plc we raised the money. A phone call to my mate Stitch from South West Screeding Ltd and he gave us a great price!! My mates all work for him so they came in and did a cracking job....the floor was level!!!

Next we wanted matting to keep it smart and comfortable so a quick measure up, and then search for the right flooring. The flooring was delivered from martial arts matting, 40mm thick for durability, so we set about fitting it. Thats Lee Bishops mma area in the red so he could crack on with his sessions.

We have grown so much from our early beginnings and that is down to the huge support of our local community, Council, Sponsors..Work It With A circuit, Stephen Hemmens Plumbing, Boss Scaffolding SW Ltd and Dee Woods, Sport England and the Davie Trust. We have held excellent sparring days at our gym as we have 3 rings, we have had a Western Counties Squad training session at our gym, and its just the start. With our boxers traveling all over the country our network is vast. Exciting times are ahead and we thank you for your support.
