Fantastic experience: I love this place! Lovely and clean, friendly staff. Parking on the road a bit of a hassle but just pay £1 and there is plenty of parking in the car park.

Fantastic experience: My go to place, especially for swimming, Have been going for more than a month, staff is helpful and friendly. The water itself is nice and not freezing cold like in some pools For swimming there is an app where you book a session and the same for steam room and sauna so not overcrowded. Also in pool life guards monitor the pool and no one messes about so can just get on with swimming witout distraction. I haven't attended classes but heard good feedback. The gym itself is nice and clean and people clean equipment after each use so there is an extra peace of mind. Hope it's helpful

Positive experience: Good gym and pool, but note the times on Google are incorrect. It doesn’t open til 11.00am on Saturday and Sunday, not 9.30. Opening hours aren’t great but the facilities are good.

Fantastic experience: Staff is helpful and firm but fair. They keep the changing room and pool area clean and tidy. The swimming time slots are for 45min and it's pretty strict. The pool is beautiful. I have not yet tried the gym, but I will!

Fantastic experience: I liked this place alot because this would make you fit and healthy. Here are some reasons there are some gyms so you can exercise on that sport runner. There are alot of spaces to run around. I went here but I forgot the date. I think this place is a good place to bring young kids.

Fantastic experience: Lovely old pool, well maintained, nice staff, old style changing cubicles round the edge. Lovely to swim at a nice pool with history rather than the soulless modern ones. Slow, med, fast lanes laid out and not too crowded. And they do a 12 for 10 swims card at £42 which works out at £3.50 a swim so pretty good value too.

Fantastic experience: I'm specifically reviewing the pool here because I didn't go to the gym. However I was very impressed. I used the facility with a guest pass that I had received from the nearby hotel where I was staying and had seen pictures of the old Edwardian pool on the internet. It didn't disappoint. There are old fashioned changing cubicles around the outside of the pool and lots and lots of lovely old tiles everywhere. The pool is around 25 yards long, just under 25m, and quite wide. Although it's not great for turning at the end (nowhere to push off the wall), is very wide and when I visited configured as just three lanes so plenty of space for overtaking. What particularly impressed me was that the lifeguards were both very friendly but also very professional in making sure people were swimming in the correct lanes and they washed before getting in the water. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Really concenient place. Easy to book/reserve and fairly priced. Nice and clean changing rooms. The gyms and badminton courts are very nice.

Fantastic experience: Really love this Victorian pool, it has nice character features preserved. As well as a nice sauna/steam room. Plenty of locker space too. The gym has just got refurbished as well. Staff are really nice too.

Fantastic experience: Very good gym. People are friendly it's mainly students from uni or colleges who come here. Can get really busy between 2:30-4:00. Some of the equipments do break down and goes out of order for a few weeks. They have 2 weight rooms tho so normally the smaller one is quite. But They need to either get new equipments or change sponsors. Free weights room is awesome!
