Fantastic experience: I have been there many tines and I have loved each one. Its one of the best swimming pools and it pool is bigger than any that I have seen. Its also got a water slide wich is amazing love it

Fantastic experience: Blonde lady on the desk fir swimming was very sociable, northgate arena need to put your wages up as you stand out above the rest. The man seemed new and nervous, didn't have many social skills. They should make visitors to the pool aware that the gates may shut for 15 mins before you are able to use the pool!! As if you are on a time schedule you may not get much swim time. Overall the pool was clean, changing rooms were clean and one member of staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I've been to northgate many times, but not for quite a few years. On my recent visit, it was clean and bright, and the cafe is super modern. We were swimming as a family and I will say that the changing rooms could do with an update as they are no different rooms years ago. The men and women are separate which is not really the norm in most swimming facilities now. They are OK though and the showers work well. There are modern vending machines directly outside the changing rooms which are handy. Parking was camera operated so no tickets or anything to deal with. Overall was a good visit and we will go back soon.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a cheerleading competition here. It was bright and airy and tidy. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of drinks/snacks on offer. The coffee machine broke down.

Fantastic experience: The swimming pool has not changed in the 40years I've been going since a child. It's a great pool and the kids love it. The deep end is really deep and perfect for allowing the kids confidence grow safely swimming in deep water.

Fantastic experience: I’ve only ever had excellent experiences whenever I’ve been to this sports center. The staff are lovely, people who attend classes and the gym are friendly and I always have a good time! Now that the interior is finally being updated, it’s even better.

Fantastic experience: We took our 2 & a half year old grandson to the children's splash pool. Well organised and friendly staff pointing out where to go to change & where to put your clothing baskets. Would recommend for young children.

Fantastic experience: Okay, the changing rooms need updating as does the pool. I don't care about that! I swim 5 mornings a week (apart from lockdowns) and it's the staff that deserve 5 stars. All of them. Well done Arena staff

Fantastic experience: Haven't been here since before Covid but my daughter wanted to go for a swim. It was a little difficult to book but once we were booked it was dead easy. Seemed really safe and clean. Staff were incredibly helpful. I felt safe and my daughter was very happy

Fantastic experience: Went for a swim, £5.30 for 45mins with no membership seemed pretty reasonable. Lanes were put into small, medium and fast which was helpful and wasn't too busy. Only thing I could criticise would be the facilities look slightly dated.

Fantastic experience: Great gym / swim facilities. Not the cleanliness but cheapest in Chester with pool access compared to others. class Instructors are all great Car park is ok, trouble parking at peak time ore lockdown but now limited booking slots in place parking is easy.

Fantastic experience: I love the DANCE AND SCULPT sessions led by CJ.He is energetic and engaging this resulting in an enjoyable work out. I aim for 2 of these per week. It does not matter if you FLUFF your moves as no one cares.

Fantastic experience: It's a fantastic gym. The staff are very helpful and the facilities are excellent, including the gym, swimming pool and indoor court which can be used for badminton, netball etc.

The pool has recently had a part fixed and the changing room have had deep clean. And the staff are very helpful in helping you get the most out your membership

Fantastic experience: Great pool, better than most you'll find. Water slides, islands, shallow area for toddlers. Good sports hall, gym etc.

Fantastic experience: I use the pool here - great staff and facillities. I am not a pro, but for anyone looking to do a few laps and get fit this is perfect. My only critique is the changing rooms - no cubicles. Staff are so helpful giving tips and advice - Deanne (sp?) was particularly excellent. Very approachable and knowledgable.

Fantastic experience: Came for swim while visiting Chester on narrow boat holidays. Our family had brilliant time. Good size leasure water pool with small slides for under 5s and 1 big slide for older children. All had a beach feel. Separate teaching pool for swimming lessons and separate part for swimmers only. There is also a part of pool where you can practice your diving. This was bonus for my husband and my 8 year old as they don't get to do that in our local pool. All around very good pool with lots of fun.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with a very big pool, staff are always helpful, vending machines on both floors so drinks are easy to buy, water fountains on both floors so water is also easy to come by, there's a cheap cafe on the ground floor which is very convenient.

Fantastic experience: The facilities of this centre is quite good swimming pool with sauna and steam, has badminton court along football indoor court with. gym has lots of equipment and so many more other facilities makes it very unique.

Fantastic experience: I go there regularly n find a homely atmosphere. I find the crew who operate and run the place to be of a friendly, knowledgable nature and help and support you to reach your goals. The place has a character that cant be described to it but makes you feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: i come here with my daughter and her children aged 3 and7.we all have such fun.lots for us all to do.grandkids love the big slide and the 3yr old loves the little mini slides.we always enjoy our time here
