Bannatyne Health Club & Spa Darlington

Fantastic experience: I was gifted a back shoulders and neck massage and elemis facial for my birthday. I arrived and was in the room within 5 minutes, Shannon was fantastic, very polite and professional. The treatments were fantastic. Super relaxing and my skin was glowing when i left( which as a mother of a 3 year old and a 5 month old, is hard to achieve!) I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Having never had a spa treatment before I was pretty nervous. I'm not body confident but I knew my partner really wanted to go so booked a couples spa. From start to finish the staff here were super helpful, very respectful and made me feel at ease. We had the full body scrub and the massage and we loved it. We had planned for a swim but found the relaxation room and stayed there for ages. If you haven't done it before, trust me, I let my fear stop me for 40 years and it was absolutely amazing. I'd go back for sure.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, excellent food, high quality massage and really accessible location. A bit far to be a regular for me but the facilities use whenever you use the spa makes it excellent value

Fantastic experience: Thought this place was lovely. They had nice food. The staff were friendly but there were a few that really stood out. Claire Wheldon and Lorraine Ripley. I can't remember the names of the other two. One lady worked in the cafe and other on reception. They were so welcoming and friendly and they acted like they were genuinely happy to be at work and engage with their customers, which you don't see very often nowadays. They went above and beyond. Treatments were good and we recieved lots of information on skin care. The only little negative I could give would be that it's not as private as I thought it would be. The spa shares facilities with other people with memberships. So I felt a little awkward walking around in a robe while everyday people were in and out using the gym and pool ect. So I suggest finding a much more private place if you want it to feel more luxury and personal.

Fantastic experience: From my first inital call/visit its been 1st class service, the staff are exceptional in communication and welcoming in every way possible. The premises are clean and equipment etc up to date. There are people of all shapes and sizes with only one goal in mind, its it's very friendly safe and relaxing place. Its a real treat and confidence booster.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined this gym, my family are members too. All the staff, cleaners, receptionist, instructors, & cafe staff all very plessent and friendly. The instructors are very professional, fun, & smart in appearance. Good team comradeship. Classes I’ve attended so far all very good. Extremely impressed with Harrison. There is everything in this gym and it’s clean. When the cafe is busy I think there could be more help needed to clean the tables. Food & service in the cafe are good. Would be nice to have gluten free and vegan options too. I have recommended this gym to many people since I have joined.

Fantastic experience: Wow,what an amazing place.its huge.it has large parking area's with disability day next to the entrance,which has a slipped kerb and automatic doors. Inside is fully disability friendly inclusive of a lift to access floors. Well catered cafe which sells healthy foods and smoothie,protein shakes,juices and healthy menus. The shop is located in the same area which sell swim costumes goggles n other health gear. Towels gowns and flipflops can be hired at the entrance.The changing areas are well stocked for needs inclusive of showers hairdryer and seating areas at mirrors for styling and makeup,there is communal and individual changing rooms. Large lockers with lots of space and hangers in. There's everything in the spa area you'd expect and more.pool,sauna,steam room,hot tub,therapy rooms,relaxation room and a full sized well organised gym.staff are friendly yet professional and very helpful.very clean. On some floor there are office and meeting rooms. I couldnt fault it at all. I'll definitely go back again.

Fantastic experience: Travelled from Leeds for a spa day, robes and slippers provided at the door, then once you are in its a nice stress free day, freedom to use whatever facilities you like. We started upstairs with some weights and cables, then treadmill (built in TV which is nice). The gym is very modern and well maintained. Then into the pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi. It was a little crowded, but still relaxed. Then we dried off, kicked back in the relaxation room, which has heated recliners and soft music. Followed this with a quick drink in the lounge, before finishing the day with a nice back massage. A great day, would recommend to anyone looking for a day to look after yourselves and clear your mind.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with really good facilities. Wide range of classes at times to suit a working life. very friendly and helpful staff with a good cafe/bar. There is also a spa in the building which has some good deals you can get on the website or through their very easy to use app.
