Fantastic experience: Good size room, clean and very comfortable and most important a good night's sleep. Food was tasty, excellent staff. Less than 20 minute to the shuttle so a very good location.

Fantastic experience: After a long car journey we were made to feel welcome on arrival, very pet friendly and our dog enjoyed the stay. The room was clean with plenty of space. The staff were kind, considerate and helpful. The meal we had in the restaurant was very good and at breakfast the staff were fantastic, warm and welcoming and actually took the time to talk with you. We have family is Ashford and without question we will stay here again, with the added bonus of a great location for shopping and local activities. Thank you and Merry Christmas to the Team.

Fantastic experience: This hotel was incredible, 2 nights for 2 people only £200 and it had soooo much stuff we could do there, there was a nice big pool with a depth all across of 1.2 meters which was perfect, there was a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and much more in the spa section, the room was lovely there was a big ol spider that did come out from under the bed but I bopped him on the head with a flippy floppy and he was no longer a spooky boi, my rating is a solid 9/10

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had a Spa day (AGift voucher) so no rooms were seen etc. We had full massage and also a full pedicure. Full use of all facilities, swimming pool. Sauna, Jacuzzi etc we had a lunch, a glass of Prosecco,,melon, wraps and salad and a lovely dessert. Very relaxing day, will definitely go again. Well recommended.

Could do with more bar staff when there are a number of functions on. But the staff are pleasant and helpful. I didn't go to breakfast but I understand it was a bit chaotic. Fantastic experience: 4 ¹/² stars Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, food was delicious and spa was suitable for all, whether you wanted relaxation, treatments or just a swim. I was given accessible room which had a wet room with shower seat, grab rails, pull down toilet handrail and emergency cords. The bedroom was nicely appointed, nothing special in decor but all functional and plenty of useful touches. The curtains had closer rods, the wardrobe had a pole to lower then raise the hanging rail for those in a wheelchair or of shorter stature and the desk lamp had a similar raising and lowering lever. There were emergency cords throughout and I believe a vibrating fire alarm pad (never used one but I think that's what it was). Main lights could be controlled from bed and plenty of sockets by bed (2 each side) for charging phone, plugging in CPAP or other electronic devices needed. Standard amenities included TV, kettle with several tea, coffee, hot chocolate sachets and 2 little packets of biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and in bathroom 2 wrapped glasses and mini toiletries - wrapped soap, bottle each of shampoo, body wash and body moisturiser in fairly unisex scents. Our package included breakfast both days, dinner on first night and 2 treatments each, 1 50 minute and 1 25 minute from a selection. I also booked an additional manicure at the time of booking the package. Breakfast is buffet style and accessible for about 3 hours each morning so plenty of time without it being too crowded I would imagine. There is a big selection of hot and cold items to choose from and no one policing what you have or how many times you go up as it's all self-service but with staff around to assist if needed. You can also request items like omelette or vegetarian sausages from chef via wait staff. Options include overnight oats, compote, yoghurt, fresh fruit, various bread products with toaster, selection of cereals, hot full English breakfast items, croissants and mini pains au chocolat, fruit juices, water and large selection of hot drinks in sachets with hot water in urns. The spa area includes upstairs nail station with waiting area and shop/reception, a gym/fitness area upstairs which we didn't visit and is not accessible if you can't manage stairs, a wheelchair lift for the small flight of stairs down to main spa area, changing rooms for men, women and a disabled/family change with lockers in each, 1.2m depth swimming pool with both ladder type entry and gent

Fantastic experience: It's the superb staff and excellent food that make the hotel. Some parts of the hotel were a little tired, but nothing to put you off staying. I will certainly return if in the area for work again.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. Ideally situated about 5 minutes from Ashfor train station. A great location for a trip to Canterbury. Great range of shops (including a designer outlet) and restaurants nearby. The inclusive breakfast buffet has a good range of options. I suggest you dine at the hotel's restaurant at least once, the food is impeccable and the waitresses are so polite and pleasant. Beautiful decor throughout the hotel. Absolutely loved it. Ashford International Jotel definitely lived up to its 5 star category.

Fantastic experience: I done a review on this Already where has it gone, room looked tidy but was not 'clean' housekeepin definitely the weakest link, macdonalds food remains in my bin Bath n sink really disgusting, looked clean but as soon as u turn on the water u can see it hasnt been actually cleaned with any product at all, probably jus 'wioe' everything dwn, water dripp marks all dwn the wall where the towel rail is, cleaned, the bedside tables were covered i foid finger prints, it really wasnt great im afraid, Restaurant well over priced, food jus tasted very bland to b honest, pool was incredible, cold well very cool i estimate circa 29degrees jaccuzzi was like a foot spa it was sooo small in comparison to size of poolsteamroom n sauna, lovely, big too, feemale changing room weredisgraceful and all the shower drains were blocked thusflooding the actual Changing space, yeah it wasnt great im afraid, glad i wasnt paying, wasnt worth what they charge. Worst bit,, housekeeping if u ask me. Why would anyone want to pay160 nikka to stay in a room that has not been cleaned?

Fantastic experience: Visited the hotel for the south east Arachnid show this weekend and was very happy with the warm welcome and overall cleanliness of the establishment. Also ate at the in house restaurant and was not disappointed with portion, quality & price!! Would also like to acknowledge Vinnie behind the bar as when I looked at my phone after ordering some soup and a drink noticed it hadn’t gone through, I returned to the bar to pay and was told he had paid out of his own pocket as he “didn’t want to disturb me and my missus” this young gentleman’s customer service and overall demeanour is bar none. Overall 10/10 for the Ashford international hotel.

Fantastic experience: Nice hotel, friendly welcoming staff, with a really nice pool and spa area. Hot tub, steam room and sauna is a real treat to unwind. The restaurant is nice with a nice selection of fresh food. The rooms are clean and spacious although a bit dark which is probably due to the dark colour choice. Just round the corner from the outlet centre and there is sainsburys, March D's and burger King just down the road.

Fantastic experience: The hotel was busy and we did have a few issues with service and waiting times but, the staff were amazing in dealing with it and very helpful and friendly in general. I was especially impressed with Ruby who was working long shifts and still managed to greet everyone with a smile. Also I have to mention Vinnie from the bar who was a complete legend and made the weekend. The hotel and room were spotless. A very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic experience: The hotel was busy but staff coped well. Leisure facilities were good, pool lovely and warm. Children's swimming times were busy but not too crowded. Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms fully equipped with separate shower to bath, magnifying mirror and warm towel rail. Small chocolate chip biscuits a nice touch with the tea and coffee. A mini fridge was useful for storing our own drinks

Fantastic experience: We booked a king size double bed room, however the room I found it a bit smaller than I expected. The quality though was high, good bed, soft huuuge pillows, big TV, nice an cosy desk which could be used as beauty table too. The bathroom was impressive, quite spacious and modern. A nice kettle will be waiting along with a range of tea, safe, tiny fridge and even a wordrobe equipped with ironing board and iron. The breakfast is great quality, they have both continental and British breakfast, the staff all very polite and friendly. A big thank you for the services provided and we will definitely come back again.

Fantastic experience: Spa break with friends was really great and the staff were really friendly too! Special mention to Chloe and Victoria who cleaned our rooms and Alamaine and Tom (16yrs old) who were excellent hosts during breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic stay, staff were amazing. Hotel is brilliant. Only down side is the AC wasn't working. No fan or anything offered, had to purchase a fan myself as it did get very hot and uncomfortable to sleep, otherwise fantastic place.

Fantastic experience: Visited from 20-22/7/21 for a birthday celebration. All the staff were approachable, patient & friendly. The food was also very good. Only one slip up on the booking of treatments but they rectified it. All & all, will definitely recommend & return.

Fantastic experience: Visited for a spa day with my partner today, we were welcomed with a dressing gown and slippers, offered the pool and steam rooms whilst we waited for our lunch. The manager was amazing and as we opted out of prosecco with our lunch (Non-Drinkers) she allowed us soft drinks and non-alcoholic mixers! We went for a soft drink to which we were told we can have refills for no extra charge. Result! Food was lovely. Staff were lovely and the aroma therapy was to die for. What a cheerful place. Definitely recommend! Will be back again. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! I love this hotel, I have been staying here for a couple of days now and I am so happy, it is a lovely place to stay, take your dog and even work! It is not completely flawless - the food is lovely and fresh but it is a little bit cold, also the service is good for the most part but if you want to call room service, be prepared to wait a long couple of minutes for them to pick up however they are really quick in doing everything, but apart from that, I have got no complaints! The location is also very convenient, it is located right next to a massive Sainsbury’s and M&S Food-hall, it is a couple minute drive onto the M20 which makes it easy to get around and it is well-situated, right in the centre of Kent which makes it easier to get to places like Dover, Canterbury and Maidstone. There is also lots to do within the hotel, like the spa, the swimming pool, the gym or even the sauna, you can also go and enjoy delicious food and a nice coffee in the lounge area. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who is thinking of going to Kent!

Fantastic experience: Every detail was catered for. The staff are so amazing here and they actually talk to you. I felt welcome by everyone. The food was really good. Loved the pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Did a workout in the gym. It was open from 6.30am which is brilliant. I had an amazing night sleep...the pillows were the best pilows I have ever slept on in a hotel. My bed was very comfortable. My allergies were catered for and I felt happy from the start to the end of my stay.

Fantastic experience: I visited the hotel with my daughter for a spa break and from the moment we arrived all of the staff were cheerful, polite and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable, we had an issue with our towels and it was sorted out quickly and with a smile. The restaurant was lovely and the food was very well presented and tasty, we asked for additions and they were provided promptly with no issues. Particular thanks to John who served us several times through our stay, he was very professional and cheerful at all times, a credit to your hotel. Thank you helping me and my daughter needing a relaxing pleasant experience. Will definitely recommend and return.

Positive experience: Always wanted to stay at the Ashford International and had a 2 night stay this weekend. The name alone conjures up images of classy rooms and quality furniture backed up by an AA 4star rating but to be honest it was bang average. The room on the ground floor was clean and the shower was fantastic but there was a hand sized stain on the carpet from previous occupancy that didn't look nice. In all fairness it wasn't a bad stay, just average like a Premier inn or Travel lodge but more expensive. We had a nice meal Friday night & breakfast x 2 mornings. It was from hot plates buffet style and opened at 0730. We had breakfast at 0740 Saturday & everything was cold but Sunday, around 0830 was much better. The pool & sauna area was wonderful. We swam every day. It can get busy but to be expected. Staff again were wonderful, polite, helpful & cheery. Lots of Weddings going on to keep the staff busy but they didn't get flustered, so high praise for them all. Would I stay here again? No, but my wife said she would. Four stars? Maybe when it originally opened but not any more. Three at best.

Positive experience: They have done some renovation since we last visited. It is a more neutral tone and looked very nice. Whilst I like this Hotel and would stay again there were a couple of negative points. We arrived to check in at 6pm and our allocated room was still not ready. The receptionist was very polite and professional and moved us to one of the other rooms which were ready. The cleanliness could also be a little better, the carpet in the hallways needed a good vacuum, there were a pile of plates, glasses etc left in the Hallway for several hours and there were areas in the room that had not been cleaned. The bed was comfy and the pillows were nice and wide. There was plenty of tea facilities an iron, fridge and hair dryer as standard. The shower was over the bath and was quite effective. We used the pool, steam room, Jacuzzi and Sauna which was open from 6.30am to 9pm. It is open to the public and there was a aqua class going on when we went there but we still got use of the Jacuzzi etc and later the pool. Again there were areas here of cleanliness that needed improvement. The Hotel is close to a Sainsbury Supermarket, the Town Centre, Eureka Leisure Park (Cinema and Food), the M20 and the Ashford Designer Outlet. All in all a good stay.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I went to this hotel for a Spa day that was bought for me as a gift and were greeted by friendly staff who went through how the day would go. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day from beginning to end, the massage was amazing! A special thank you Chloe for making me feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout. The only criticism I have is that the restaurant within the hotel did not have any bottled water which is mainly what my partner and I drink so we were stuck with options, however this would not put us off coming back! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I have never felt so welcomed, the reception staff & the restaurant staff were so polite! Had my room upgraded - the room was so tidy and clean. The food in the restaurant was absolutely lush! Only took about 10 minutes - the presentation was at its best. Gifted with a birthday cupcake and two drinks. Breakfast was also lovely. Thank you to the two girls who did the massage - explained everything we needed to know, chatty & friendly. ☺️☺️☺️

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely warm welcome by Maria who made us guests of the day. The room is a good size with plenty of storage space for bags and clothes. Ironing board, confectionery station and a large shower/bath and a big TV. The hotel is full of eye catching art and lounge seating to relax on. Also very clean throughout. Staff are very attentive and welcoming and made our stay feel very special. The Spa facilities, gym and actual spa lounge are great for couples and families. The hotel also has a two bars and fine dining restaurant. The morning breakfast is all you can eat. All and all a very relaxing and warm welcoming experience.

Fantastic experience: The hotel is a lovely hotel, with top notch service. The staff we're all very helpful as well. The hotel rooms were very clean and we also loved the decor. Now for the bad bits. Not all the hotel rooms have fridges, which I thought was a bit weird. You could give reception stuff to keep in the fridge for you and you had access to it 24/7, but it was not as convenient as having your own fridge. The hot tub is a bit small for such a large hotel and the showers were freezing. Lastly the restaurant in the hotel is not up to the standard of the hotel itself. You have to buy your bread platter which I also thought was weird. Our food came before our wine and the wine glasses were a bit dirty. I ordered a medium rare steak and was initially sent a well done steak. After I sent it back, I got a medium rare steak which they hadn't let rest and as a result, my plate ended up a sodden mess. In short, very good hotel, not so good restaurant.

Fantastic experience: We were booked for a spa break as a double celebration for my 50th birthday and my daughter getting married 3 days later. The day started with us arriving earlier than our check in time thinking we would have to store our bags while we made use of the facilities. As our rooms were ready we were able to check in straight away process was simple staff very polite and friendly. Lunch was very tasty, the waiter was friendly and helpful. Spa was clean and quiet - fab for a relaxing day. Treatment rooms were relaxing, again staff very friendly although bride to be seemed to get the best suited and most helpful staff member. Dinner was amazing 3 courses very reasonable prices. The shoulder of lamb melted in the mouth - wonderful. The waitress was attentive, helpful, friendly and made an effort to get to know us. couldn't fault the service at all. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Although we had a minor issue it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. All of our party have said we would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to book again soon. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome.
