Fantastic experience: After reading the reviews the snobbery on show is ridiculous, one comment saying “ghetto” gym, people from all walks of life come to this gym, there’s never any problems, mutual respect from the staff and other gym users. To address the point of 3 floors? McDonald’s has 2 floors, I’m sure you can go and enjoy that instead of walking a few steps . The gym is amazing, all the equipment you could ask for and is always clean !. Surely if you doing leg day, using that muscle group while using a the stairs will be beneficial, not a detriment !! If you can handle extra weight, use less weight so you can easily walk down the stairs. Simple. I feel strongly about my gym, yes MY GYM!, because ever since I started I feel at home here and I will defend against nonsense remarks. Anyone can buy a location and put gym equipment in it. This gym I have been coming to for 3 years now and you just can’t replicate the atmosphere or the polite and friendly staff, down to the fellow gym goers.

Fantastic experience: I had issues regarding joining online and communicating with CS online was very long winded. However, when contacting pure gym Arcadian directly via Instagram Charlotte the GM sent me a prompt response and was willing to go out of her way to ensure I receive the best customer service and get signed up asap! Charlotte stayed after she had finished work to help me join and ensure I get my issue sorted she also gave me a tour around the gym. I was really nervous about joining but Charlotte was so lovely and ensured I felt comfortable. Thank you so much I really appreciate it again. I really don’t have a bad thing to say about this gym. It has everything you need, it’s soooo clean, really spacious, more than enough equipment for everyone and the staff are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Although this gym is in city center it is surprisingly less busier than five ways during peak hours 5-7pm. The only downside is that gym is split in three floors so some may not like the layout of gym. The best fact though is that Arcadian parking is free for 2 hours for all members.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym! No contract, very spacious and a lot of training machines so you don’t have to wait for one to be available.

Positive experience: Couldn't bench press due to lack of benches with barbell racks. Quite poorly equipped. Too many bikes which from what I could see were not being used by anyone. I guess good cardio gym?

Fantastic experience: First time trying out this gym and I am super pleased. I first met the staff, Charlotte who showed me around and answered all my questions. She was truly helpful and really friendly. The other staff also provided me with assistance when I needed. There was a wide variety of gym equipments and lots of space to workout. The changing rooms were very clean and there were cleaning stations which allowed you to clean the equipments before and after using them. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I was shown around by Charlotte last week, came in with my mate today and we were showed around by Grace. Lovely gym with a wide variety of facilities and lovely welcoming staff members. Grace checked in with us both during our workout and made us feel great about our first visit back at the gym after lockdown! We'll be coming back!

Fantastic experience: the whole building is a gym. Great and many gym facilities, 24/7 opening, very close from the city centre, and cheap membership fee as well. What would you expect more than that? I can tell this is the BEST gym in Birmingham. I've been to 4 gyms in Birmingham as a local but I'm 100% confident you cannot find any better than this gym. Staff members are nice as well.

Fantastic experience: I'm fussy with regards to gyms and have managed to stay away from them for more than 10 years, so don't take it lightly when I say this is a really good gym. Facilities are clean (from experience of morning, midday and evening sessions). I've never once found any weights lying around, and the trainers are absolutely great on customer service esp Hannah, Christina and the two Adams, as well as in their running of classes. This gym is spacious, spread over different floors which personally I think is a good thing! I travel into Birmingham to go to this gym and I wish there was an equivalent nearer my home. I've considered upgrading my membership to check out other PureGyms but worry they might ruin my positive experience so far! So very well done to the team at PureGym Arcadia. I look forward to more classes there. (P.s. I feel that I've got to mention this is an honest review and no one has asked me to do this!)

Fantastic experience: I come to this gym quite often. I have such a good workout here. I have been at every time in the day and there is always something to do. All the staff are friendly, kind and supportive and have recently completed a boxing course offered by Peter Sawyers (Twinsane Fitness). The gym and changing rooms are also very clean. So happy I joined. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: New and clean equipment, not too busy, and big enough. Only downside is that there’s too many people putting their weights in the wrong place, it gets annoying.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, even in busy hours don't have to wait in a line to use the equipment. Clean and tidy changing rooms - just need to bring your own lock for the locker. Well priced, easy to cancel rolling contract.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this gym, had a great experience all thanks to Adam Janabi who is an astounding professional and extremely knowledgable personal trainer at Pure Gym. I've attended a few of his classes, which were circuits on Tuesdays and kettlebell on Thursdays. He is focused on helping people achieve their goals and makes every session challenging and somehow fun making me look forward to all the sessions. - He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. - He is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned. My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit-ups/core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. By far the best personal trainer I've met from all the gyms I've been to!

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the functional area - makes it worth cycling past the Broad Street PureGym in order to get to the Arcadian one! Would be great if the squeaky Air Bike could be fixed however!

Foad Azadi has been brillaint at helping me to bulk up with a good range of exercises and dietary advice. I'd never done weight training before I'd started the sessions and I wasn't sure I would like it, but I'm really enjoying working out and I'm really happy with the results.
